  • Leo Carlsson C | ANA

Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Two points in win over Philly

Carlsson delivered an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Flyers.

Facing the team whose offer sheet this summer resulted in Carlsson re-signing with the Ducks for five years and $90 million, the 21-year-old rewarded his benefactors by opening the scoring for Anaheim midway through the second period and then setting up Beckett Sennecke for what proved to be the game-winner in the third. Carlsson has a pair of multi-point performances in the last three games, and through 11 contests to begin the season he's racked up three goals and 13 points, including eight points (one goal, seven assists) on the power play.

  • Red Wings' Sheldon Dries: Adds three points for AHL club

Dries scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Grand Rapids' 5-2 win over Cleveland on Saturday.

Dries made six appearances with the Red Wings during a recent stint in the NHL, but he didn't log a point. The 32-year-old will likely spend most of the rest of the campaign in the AHL. He's earned eight points over four contests with the Griffins so far this season.

  • Oilers' Connor McDavid: On pace to shatter Gretzky's point record

McDavid had two assists in a 7-2 loss to Toronto on Saturday.

The cream always rises to the top, and McDavid is significantly above all other NHLers this season. He now has a whopping 33 points (eight goals, 25 assists) in just 11 games. Yes, McDavid is on pace to be only the second NHLer to top the 200-point mark. And he's the only player who has ever been pace to break (and maybe shatter) Wayne Gretzky's all-time single-season point record (212; 1985-86). Yep, we said it. And no, it's not a jinx. Right now he's on pace for more than 250 points. Wow. McDavid's ascension into the all-time elite on hockey's Mt. Rushmore continues.

  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Goal streak at six games, nine snipes

Draisaitl scored two goals in Saturday's 7-2 win or loss against Toronto.

They were his 11th and 12th of the season, and they extended his goal streak to six games and nine snipes (five assists). The first came 4v4, a place where Draisaitl and the Oilers typically act like menaces to opposing teams. The second came on the power play, where the Oilers dominate. Draisaitl moved past Minnesota's Kirill Kaprizov for the NHL goal lead, with the Wild playing the late game Saturday.

  • Maple Leafs' Jack Roslovic: Scoring streak at three games, six points

Roslovic was credited with a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 7-2 win or loss against Edmonton.

The points extended his scoring streak to three games and six points (two goals, four assists). Roslovic was the last Maple Leafs player to touch the puck before the Oilers put the puck behind their own goalie. The winger has always been able to play up the lineup, as illustrated by his gig beside Auston Matthews in Toronto. Roslovic has excellent speed, a sharp shot and good playmaking vision, but he's always been dependent on the quality of the talent on his line. He simply can't carry a line on his own. Roslovic has been a strong fantasy contributor early this season. He has five goals, seven assists and 36 shots in 13 games so far.

  • Kings' Jimmy Lombardi: Three helpers in OHL win

Lombardi notched three assists in OHL Flint's 6-2 win over Saginaw on Saturday.

Lombardi is thriving as a playmaker this season with five goals and 11 assists over 10 games. The Kings prospect should continue to pile up points -- he was above a point-per-game pace last year, which at least partially helped him earn his entry-level deal last December.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Notches sharp goal Saturday

Matthews scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 7-2 win or loss against Edmonton.

It came on a nice 2-on-1 with Easton Cowan, who threaded a pass through the defender's feet to Matthews' tape, and he snapped a quick shot high inside the left post. Tristan Jarry had no chance. Matthews has nine goals, 10 assists and 39 shots in 13 games this season. He was held off the score sheet the first two games this season, but after that, he's never gone more than one game without an offensive contribution.

  • Kings' Scott Laughton: Gets team's only goal in loss

Laughton scored the Kings' only goal in a 3-1 loss to New Jersey on Saturday.

He also had two hits, one block and one shot. Laughton has two goals and five shots in his last three games. He has two goals and one assist in nine games this campaign. His fantasy value sits in banger formats. Laughton has delivered at least 109 hits in nine consecutive seasons and put up double-digit goals eight times in that span. In 2026-27, he has 23 hits.

  • Nicolas Roy C | COL

Avalanche's Nicolas Roy: Unlikely to play Sunday

Roy (lower body) is doubtful for Sunday's matchup against Nashville, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.

Roy has already missed the last five games, and he was still wearing a non-contact jersey during Saturday's practice. The 29-year-old forward has two goals, four points, 10 shots on net, four blocked shots and nine hits in six outings this season.

  • Mason Shaw C | MIN

Wild's Mason Shaw: Up from AHL

Shaw was called up from AHL Iowa on Saturday.

Shaw has three goals, nine points and 13 PIM in nine appearances with Iowa in 2026-27. Although the 27-year-old has been an offensive force in the minors, Shaw will likely serve in a bottom-six role if he draws into Minnesota's lineup.
