  • Mike Gesicki TE | CIN

Bengals' Mike Gesicki: Disappointing day in loss to Ravens

Gesicki had just one catch for 11 yards on three targets in the Bengals' 24-0 loss to the Ravens on Sunday.

When Tee Higgins (concussion) missed games last season, Gesicki was frequently a big target for Joe Burrow, but the Ravens locked down on him Sunday. One of Gesicki's targets was a seam ball on fourth down when the Ravens had two defenders on Gesicki, a pass that ended in an incompletion and turnover on downs.

  • Saquon Barkley RB | PHI

Eagles' Saquon Barkley: Scores TD in workmanlike effort

Barkley rushed 22 times for 78 yards and a touchdown and brought in two of three targets for 14 yards in the Eagles' 31-0 win over the Raiders on Sunday.

As his final line indicates, Barkley had to work for his yards Sunday, but the star back was effective in churning out some productive gains and recorded his sixth rushing touchdown of the campaign on a two-yard run with just under two minutes remaining in the first half. Barkley now has logged 20 or more carries and scored a rushing touchdown in consecutive games for only the second time this season, affording him some momentum heading into a favorable Week 16 road matchup against the Commanders on Saturday afternoon.

  • Josh Whyle TE | GB

Packers' Josh Whyle: Won't return vs. Denver

Whyle (concussion) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Broncos.

Whyle has entered the league's concussion protocol after being shaken up in the first quarter of Sunday's game. John FitzPatrick will be the lone backup tight end behind Luke Musgrave the rest of the way.

  • Jaguars' Travis Etienne: Three TD catches against Jets

Etienne rushed 12 times for 32 yards while catching three of four targets for 73 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 48-20 win over the Jets.

Etienne more than made up for a modest performance on the ground by recording touchdown receptions of 20, eight and 45 yards. The first of those three scores came 21 seconds before halftime, and Etienne scored once each in the third and fourth quarters. Etienne has been a key part of Jacksonville's recent surge, with nine total touchdowns over the team's last six games heading into a Week 15 road matchup against Denver's stout defense.

  • Commanders' Jacory Croskey-Merritt: Gets into end zone in Week 15 win

Croskey-Merritt carried the ball 18 times for 96 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 29-21 win over the Giants.

With Chris Rodriguez (groin) ruled out, Croskey-Merritt led the Commanders backfield in touches with 18 to Jeremy McNichols' 10, and the rookie RB turned that season-high volume into his best performance -- and first trip to the end zone -- since Week 5. The strong effort may push Croskey-Merritt back into a more prominent role in the offense even after Rodriguez returns, but his fantasy appeal will hinge on the more experienced back's health in Week 16 against the Eagles.

  • James Cook RB | BUF

Bills' James Cook: Three-TD day against tough defense

Cook rushed 22 times for 107 yards and two touchdowns while bringing in two of three targets for four yards and another score in the Bills' 35-31 win over the Patriots on Sunday.

Facing a notoriously stingy Patriots run defense, Cook carefully picked his spots throughout the afternoon and consistently churned out productive gains. He was a critical contributor to the Bills' second-half rally, recording three- and 11-yard touchdown runs. Those scoring scampers were preceded by a five-yard scoring grab with just under two minutes remaining in the first half, giving Cook his first three-TD tally of the season. The star running back figures to be heavily involved again in a Week 16 road matchup against the Browns next Sunday.

  • Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Six total TDs in Week 15 win

Lawrence completed 22 of 30 passes for 330 yards and five touchdowns while rushing five times for 51 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 48-20 win over the Jets.

Lawrence set a new career high with five touchdown passes as the Jaguars cruised to a fifth consecutive win. He led touchdown drives on each of Jacksonville's first three possessions, sandwiching his 15-yard touchdown run between touchdown passes of four yards to Brian Thomas and 16 yards to Bhayshul Tuten. The surging quarterback tacked on touchdown passes of 20 yards, eight yards and 45 yards to Travis Etienne. Lawrence has thrown multiple touchdown passes in four consecutive games, while the Jaguars have scored at least 25 points in seven straight since their bye, but extending those streaks won't be easy in Week 16 on the road against Denver's elite defense.

  • Josh Whyle TE | GB

    Packers' Josh Whyle: Possible concussion

Whyle is being evaluated for a possible concussion and is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Broncos.

Whyle was shaken up early in the first quarter when attempting to block Broncos safety Talanoa Hufanga. John FitzPatrick should see more offensive snaps for as long as Whyle is out of the game.

  • Samaje Perine RB | CIN

Bengals' Samaje Perine: Returns for final series

Perine (ankle) returned from injury in the Bengals' final offensive series during Sunday's 24-0 loss to the Ravens. He finished the game with 14 carries for 42 yards and one catch for one yard on his only target.

Frequently, players with ankle injuries experience a decent amount of swelling subsequent to suffering the injury, so we'll track Perine's status heading into practice next week. Perine and Chase Brown split carries almost evenly Sunday, though Brown was far more involved in the passing game.

  • Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Set for MRI on left knee

Coach Andy Reid said after Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Chargers that Mahomes is slated to undergo an MRI on his left knee, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

With regard to the QB's injury, Reid acknowledged to reporters that "it didn't look good." Given the Chiefs were eliminated from playoff contention by Sunday's loss, the team will presumably proceed with caution with the franchise signal-caller. If Mahomes ends up sidelined Week 16 and possibly beyond, Gardner Minshew would be in line to work as Kansas City's starter.
