Woody Marks RB | HOU
Texans' Woody Marks: Not practicing Wednesday
Marks (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Marks missed the second half of Sunday's 40-20 win over Arizona after tweaking a pre-existing ankle injury in the first half. Texans coach Demeco Ryans downplayed the injury afterward, even suggesting that Marks could've returned if the game had been closer. Still, fantasy managers need to keep a close eye on the situation now that Marks is absent from practice to start the week ahead of a matchup with the Raiders on Sunday. Nick Chubb, on the other hand, returned to practice Wednesday after missing Week 15 with a rib injury.

Adam Trautman TE | DEN
Broncos' Adam Trautman: No targets in Week 16
Trautman went without a target while playing 42 of the Broncos' 68 snaps on offense in Sunday's 34-26 win over the Packers.
Trautman's 62 percent snap share led the way among Broncos tight ends, but Evan Engram was the only member of the position group to draw a target from quarterback Bo Nix on the day. Trautman has produced a 16-157-1 receiving line on 18 targets through 14 games this season but offers most of his impact as a blocker rather than a pass catcher.
-
Nate Adkins TE | DEN
Broncos' Nate Adkins: No targets in return
Adkins went without a target while taking the field for 25 of the Broncos' 68 snaps on offense in Sunday's 34-26 win over the Packers.
Though Adkins never landed on injured reserve, he missed five consecutive games due to a knee issue before he was cleared to return to action Sunday. The 26-year-old's 37 percent offensive snap share was roughly on par with his rates from his first six appearances, but he largely served as a blocker during his time on the field; he ran just two routes on the day.

Brady Cook QB | NYJ
Jets' Brady Cook: Making another start
Cook will start Sunday's game at New Orleans, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
Jets coach Aaron Glenn made the announcement Wednesday afternoon, telling reporters that his Week 16 backup will be whichever of Tyrod Taylor (groin) or Justin Fields (knee) is healthy enough to play. Glenn's decision coming this early in the week could be taken as a hint that he wants Cook to finish out the season, though things can change in a hurry if the rookie continues to struggle (he tossed three interceptions Sunday in a 48-20 loss at Jacksonville).

Darrell Taylor DE | HOU
Texans' Darrell Taylor: Officially designated to return
Taylor (ankle) was designated to return from the injured reserve list Wednesday.
The Tennessee product's return to practice Wednesday comes as no surprise, as Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reported that he was expected to be medically cleared in the next week or so. Taylor has appeared in four games for the Texans this season, recording three total tackles. He must still be added to Houston's active roster in order to play in Sunday's matchup against the Raiders.

Ben Yurosek TE | MIN
Vikings' Ben Yurosek: Limited playing time in Week 15
Yurosek wasn't targeted while taking the field for just one of the Vikings' 55 snaps on offense in Sunday's 34-26 win over the Cowboys.
Yurosek was active for the first time since Week 11 but once again handled a muted role on offense. Through nine appearances on the season, the reserve tight end has logged 73 total snaps on offense and has produced a five-yard reception on two targets.

Josh Butler DB | DAL
Cowboys' Josh Butler: Designated to return
Butler (knee) was designated to return from the active/PUP list Wednesday.
The 29-year-old was placed on the active/PUP list in late July due to a knee injury, but he'll return to practice for the first time Wednesday. Butler appeared in five games for the Cowboys in 2024, recording 21 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and five passes defensed. Once fully healthy, he'll likely play a depth role in Dallas' secondary.
-
Myles Price WR | MIN
Vikings' Myles Price: Racks up return yardage in win
Price returned six kickoffs for 143 yards in Sunday's 34-26 win over the Cowboys.
Price also took the field for a play on offense, but the depth receiver has yet to touch the ball as anything but a return man through his first 14 NFL games. While ball security (four fumbles) has been somewhat of an issue for Price, he's provided a boost to the Minnesota special teams with an average of 26.0 yards per kickoff return and 9.9 yards per punt return.
-
Payton Turner DE | DET
Cowboys' Payton Turner: Returns to practice
Turner (ribs) had his 21-day window opened to return from the injured reserve list Wednesday.
Turner has yet to play this season due to a rib injury, but it now appears he's nearing a return. The 2021 first-round pick from Houston appeared in 16 games with the Saints in 2024, recording 21 total tackles, including 2.0 sacks, four passes defensed and two forced fumbles. Dallas must still activate the 26-year-old to its active roster in order for him to suit up for the Week 16 matchup against the Chargers.

Phil Mafah RB | DAL
Cowboys' Phil Mafah: Practice window opens
Mafah (shoulder) was designated to return from the injured reserve list Wednesday.
The rookie running back from Clemson was placed on IR in late August due to a shoulder issue, but it now appears he's nearing a return. Mafah has yet to make his NFL debut after posting 1,115 rushing yards, 103 receiving yards and eight total touchdowns during his final collegiate season. He must still be activated to the Cowboys' active roster in order to suit up for the Week 16 matchup against the Chargers.
