The Patriots are trading Bradbury to the Bears in exchange for a 2026 fifth-round pick, Dianna reports.

Bradbury joined the Patriots on a two-year, $9.5 million contract in March of 2025 after spending the first six years of his NFL career with the Vikings, but the 2019 first-rounder will head back to the NFC North as a member of the Bears. He has started in all 105 regular-season games he's appeared in and is slated to serve as the Bears' starting center for 2026 following the retirement of Drew Dalman on Tuesday.

The Raiders released Cappa on Friday.

Cappa will not return to Las Vegas for 2026 despite signing a two-year, $11.02 million contract with the Raiders in March of 2025. He started in eight of 17 regular-season games for the Raiders last year, including the last six games of the campaign. The 2018 third-rounder should garner interest from teams looking to add depth to the offensive line.

The Giants released Hudson on Friday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Hudson joined the Giants in March of 2025 on a two-year contract, but his stint with the team will end after just one season in a move that will save New York $5.5 million against the salary cap. Hudson started in just two of 11 regular-season games in 2025 and will look to join a team in need of depth on the offensive line.

The Chargers signed Williamson (ankle) to a contract extension Friday.

The details of Williamson's contract haven't been announced by the Chargers, but the 2023 seventh-rounder figures to be around for at least the 2026 season. He served mostly on special teams last year and finished with 14 tackles (eight solo) across 17 regular-season games, though an ankle injury prevented him from playing in the Chargers' AFC wild-card loss to the Patriots in January.

Kelly announced his retirement from the NFL through his personal X account Friday.

Kelly will step away from the game after a 10-year NFL career that started when he was selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Colts. He signed a two-year contract with the Vikings in March of 2025 but suffered three concussions during the regular season, which limited him to eight games. He finished the 2025 regular season with 26 tackles (13 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defense over 17 games. Tomlinson should attract interest from teams looking to add a veteran defensive lineman to the roster.

The Bills released Jackson on Friday, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.

Jackson appeared in just three regular-season games for the Bills in 2025 while serving mostly on special teams. The 2020 seventh-rounder will look to join a team in need of a depth piece in the secondary who can also contribute on special teams.

The Chargers assigned Patterson a one-year exclusive rights free-agent tender Friday.

Patterson signed to the Chargers' practice squad in mid-October before joining the active roster in late November due to an ankle injury to Omarion Hampton. Patterson tallied eight or more carries in four of six regular-season games and finished with 41 carries for 159 yards and one touchdown along with three catches (on four targets) for eight yards. The Buffalo product will compete for a spot on the Chargers' 53-man roster for the 2026 season.
