Samaje Perine RB | CIN
Bengals' Samaje Perine: Four touches in Week 3 loss
Perine turned three carries into nine yards and caught one pass on three targets for five yards during the Bengals' 30-27 loss to the Steelers on Sunday. He also returned one kickoff for 26 yards.
Perine saw most of his offensive output in the first half and was limited to only one carry for zero gain in the second. His 18 offensive snaps were well behind Chase Brown's 40, and Perine figures to be limited to a rotational role in the Bengals' backfield this season unless Brown were to miss time. The Bengals will head home to host the Jaguars in Week 4.

Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE
Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Doesn't draw any targets in Week 3 win
Jeudy finished Sunday's 21-18 victory against Carolina with no targets or touches.
It was the second straight week that Jeudy didn't log a reception, and this time he didn't even get a target (he logged just one in Week 2 versus Tampa Bay). The veteran wideout continues to be on the field fairly often -- he's recorded an offensive snap share of over 50 percent in each of the Browns' three contests, including Sunday, when he played 51 percent of the team's offensive snaps. However, he doesn't seem to be clicking well with QB Deshaun Watson, and at this point fantasy managers have little reason to include him in their lineups.

Jaret Patterson RB | DEN
Jaret Patterson: Cut from practice squad
The Vikings cut Patterson from the practice squad Tuesday, Craig Peters of the team's official site reports.
Patterson was added to the Minnesota practice squad last Tuesday. The team may be clearing spots to bring in additional tight end depth due to the season-ending injury to Josh Oliver (biceps). Patterson rushed 41 times for 159 yards and caught three of four targets for eight yards over six regular-season contests with the Chargers in 2025.

Josh Oliver TE | MIN
Vikings' Josh Oliver: Placed on injured reserve
The Vikings placed Oliver (biceps) on injured reserve Tuesday, Craig Peters of the team's official site reports.
Oliver's move to IR was expected after the tight end was diagnosed with a torn bicep Monday. The tight end will likely miss most, if not all, of the 2026 season as he recovers from surgery. T.J. Hockenson and Gavin Bartholomew are now the only tight ends on the Vikings' roster, meaning practice squad elevations ahead of Week 5 will likely include at least one more option for the team. The Vikings signed linebacker Kyle Van Noy to the 53-man roster in a corresponding move.

Brett Rypien QB | HOU
Brett Rypien: Gets opportunity on Bucs' practice squad
Tampa Bay signed Rypien to its practice squad Tuesday, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Rypien has some familiarity with the Buccaneers' offense, as the team's current quarterbacks coach, Zac Robinson, was with the Rams in 2023 during Rypien's stint in Los Angeles. Tampa Bay developed a need for quarterback depth after Baker Mayfield suffered a thumb injury that is expected to sideline him for multiple weeks in Sunday's loss to Minnesota. Undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels is in line to start for the Buccaneers on Sunday against Green Bay, while Easton Stick is likely to serve as his backup.

Kyle Van Noy MLB | MIN
Vikings' Kyle Van Noy: Promoted to active roster
The Vikings signed Van Noy from the practice squad to the active roster Tuesday, Craig Peters of the team's official site reports.
The Vikings burned through Van Noy's practice squad elevations by playing the veteran linebacker in each of the team's three wins to start the 2026 regular season. Van Noy logged 59 defensive snaps over the three contests, totaling seven tackles (five solo), including 1.5 sacks. The 35-year-old will now stay a key rotational edge rusher for the team, this time on the 53-man roster.
-
Dante Pettis WR | SF
Dante Pettis: Joining Niners' practice squad
San Francisco signed Pettis to its practice squad Tuesday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
The 49ers must have liked what they saw when they worked out Pettis on Tuesday, as he's now already a member of their practice squad. The team is dealing with injuries to more than a few of its wide receivers, including veterans Mike Evans (ribs) and Demarcus Robinson (ankle), so Pettis could see himself elevated to the active roster relatively soon.
-
Dean Connors RB | LAR
Rams' Dean Connors: Signs to active roster
The Rams signed Connors from the practice squad to the active roster Tuesday.
Connors was signed to the active roster after fellow running back Ronnie Rivers (calf) was placed on injured reserve (Sept. 23). Connors was elevated to the active roster ahead of the Rams' Week 3 loss to the Broncos as the No. 3 running back behind Kyren Williams and Blake Corum. The 23-year-old will continue to fill that role for the team on the 53-man roster in Rivers' absence.
-
Dawson Knox TE | BUF
Bills' Dawson Knox: Just one catch vs. Bolts
Knox hauled in his lone target for five yards in a 24-16 win over the Chargers on Sunday.
Knox and fellow tight end Dalton Kincaid combined for only four targets from Josh Allen in Sunday's game, with wide receiver DJ Moore leading all pass catchers with 10 targets. Knox is up to a 4-17-1 receiving line on four targets through three regular-season games, and his production will be limited to occasional red zone opportunities as long as Kincaid is healthy. The Bills will stay home for a Week 4 AFC East clash against the Patriots this Sunday.

Terrell Jennings RB | NE
Terrell Jennings: Tries out with Falcons
Atlanta worked out Jennings (undisclosed) on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Jennings got cut by the Patriots with an injury settlement back in August, but he's now back on the field and trying to catch on with a new team. The Falcons' only healthy running backs on their active roster currently are starter Bijan Robinson and free-agent acquisition Brian Robinson.
