  • Malik Davis RB | DAL

    Malik Davis: Gets waived

Dallas waived Davis on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The Cowboys signed Davis to their active roster Monday ahead of their game versus the Cardinals, but now he's headed to waivers just one day later. He could be a candidate to join back up with Dallas' practice squad if he's not claimed by another team during the current waiver period.

  • McCallan Castles: Joins Green Bay's practice squad

The Packers signed Castles to their practice squad Tuesday.

Castles spent training camp with the Chargers and Rams but was waived at the close of training camp. He'll provide tight end depth in Green Bay after Tucker Kraft (knee) suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 9.

  • Nate Adkins TE | DEN

Broncos' Nate Adkins: Sits out of Tuesday's walkthrough

Adkins (knee) did not participate in Tuesday's walkthrough practice.

Adkins has opened Week 10 prep with back-to-back DNPs as he continues to recover from a knee injury he sustained against the Cowboys in Week 8. He was unable to play against the Texans on Sunday, and he's unlikely to play Thursday against the Raiders unless he practices in at least a limited capacity Wednesday.

  • Broncos' Patrick Surtain: Doesn't practice Tuesday

Surtain (pectoral) did not participate in Tuesday's walkthrough practice.

Surtain worked on the side of the field during Tuesday's session as he continues to rehab from a pectoral injury that he sustained in Week 8. The All-Pro corner isn't expected to go on injured reserve, but he'll likely be sidelined for the Broncos' next two games and aim to return after the Week 12 bye. With Surtain sidelined, Ja'Quan McMillian, Jahdae Barron and Kris Abrams-Draine all saw increased snaps on defense during the Broncos' Week 9 win over the Texans.

  • Josh Whyle TE | GB

Packers' Josh Whyle: Signed to active roster

The Packers signed Whyle to their active roster Tuesday.

Whyle has spent the season on the Packers' practice squad to this point. He'll now provide depth to the tight end room, with Tucker Kraft (knee) lost for the season. Whyle has 37 receptions and two touchdowns across 28 career games.

  • Dayo Odeyingbo DE | CHI

Bears' Dayo Odeyingbo: Officially placed on IR

The Bears placed Odeyingbo (Achilles) on injured reserve Tuesday.

Odeyingbo sustained an Achilles injury during the Bears' 47-42 win over the Bengals on Sunday. The injury is severe enough for the 2021 second-rounder to be sidelined for the rest of the season, and it's unclear whether he'll be available for the start of the 2026 campaign. With Odeyingbo done for the year, the Bears solidified their depth on the defensive line by acquiring Joe Tryon-Shoyinka and a 2026 seventh-round pick via trade from the Browns on Tuesday in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick.

  • Commanders' Marshon Lattimore: Placed on IR

The Commanders placed Lattimore (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday.

Lattimore was diagnosed with a torn ACL following Sunday night's loss to the Seahawks. That ended his season, and now this move makes that official while also freeing up a roster spot for the Commanders.

  • Jonathan Ward: Being released from practice squad

New England released Ward from its practice squad Tuesday.

In a corresponding transaction, the Patriots signed wide receiver Brenden Rice to their practice squad. Ward's stint with the team lasted just one week, and now he'll have to start seeking another opportunity elsewhere.

  • Kenny Yeboah TE | DET

    Kenny Yeboah: Released from IR

Detroit released Yeboah (knee) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Tuesday.

Yeboah was placed on injured reserve in early August, which would have ended his season had he not reached this settlement. He'll now be free to sign elsewhere and potentially suit up if healthy.

  • Ben Sauls K | ATL

Ben Sauls: Cut from Atlanta's practice squad

The Falcons cut Sauls from the practice squad Tuesday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.

The Falcons also released Parker Romo while signing Zane Gonzalez to the active roster, with the latter set to serve as the team's placekicker moving forward, per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. Sauls joined the Falcons' practice squad in late September after spending the offseason with the Steelers, though he wasn't able to beat out veteran Chris Boswell for a spot on the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. Sauls -- an undrafted rookie out of Pittsburgh -- could get another opportunity with a team looking to bring in a placekicker for a kicking competition or as an injury replacement.
