  • Kalif Raymond WR | CHI

Lions' Kalif Raymond: Misses practice with illness

Raymond missed Wednesday's practice with an illness.

Raymond has a few days to get healthy before Sunday's matchup with Minnesota, though he's only the fourth or fifth wide receiver now that DJ Chark, Jameson Williams and Josh Reynolds all are healthy. Chark and Reynolds saw most of the playing time alongside Amon-Ra St. Brown in Sunday's win over Jacksonville, with Raymond playing only 13 snaps and Williams taking eight in his NFL debut. Prior to that, Raymond had played more than three-fourths of Detroit's offensive snaps in seven straight games, averaging 3.7 catches for 46.9 yards on 5.1 targets in that stretch. He still hasn't scored a touchdown this season even with 382 receiving yards, 218 return yards and 24 rushing yards on his ledger.

  • Treylon Burks WR | WAS

Titans' Treylon Burks: Misses practice Wednesday

Burks (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Burks, who was forced out of this past Sunday's loss to the Eagles after just 10 snaps, has two more chances to return to practice ahead of this weekend's contest against the Jaguars. If the wideout isn't able to clear the concussion protocol and ends up inactive for the game against Jacksonville, however, more opportunities would be available for fellow pass-catchers Robert Woods, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Chigoziem Okonkwo.

  • David Bell WR | CLE

Browns' David Bell: Limited by thumb injury Wednesday

Bell was a limited participant at practice Wednesday due to a thumb injury, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Bell was forced out of Cleveland's Week 13 win in Houston due to the injury, but as long as he's able to upgrade to full participation by Friday, he should be in good shape to play Sunday at Cincinnati. The rookie out of Purdue has held a bit role in the Cleveland passing attack this season, collecting 20 receptions for 169 yards and no touchdowns.

  • Odell Beckham: May not be ready by January

The Cowboys have concerns Beckham (knee) won't be ready to play before mid-January, Ed Werder of ESPN reports.

Beckham visited Dallas on Monday and Tuesday, meeting with team president Jerry Jones and then attending a Dallas Mavericks game with Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons and cornerback Trevon Diggs. An earlier report suggested Beckham would pick a team by the end of the week, but that might not be the case if he's considered unlikely to contribute until next season. The 30-year-old wideout suffered an ACL tear during last season's Super Bowl while playing for the Rams -- a team he might be considering now if they hadn't fallen out of the playoff race. In addition to the Cowboys, Beckham has also met with the Bills and the Giants, and those three teams seemingly represent the top suitors for his services.

  • Nico Collins WR | HOU

Texans' Nico Collins: Dealing with foot injury

Collins was listed as a non-participant at Thursday's practice due to a foot injury.

Drew Dougherty of the Texans' official site previously reported that Collins would be deemed a limited participant Wednesday, but he didn't end up logging any recorded practice reps. Brandin Cooks (calf) also sat out Wednesday's session, clouding the statuses of the team's top two wideouts as Sunday's game against the Cowboys approaches.

  • Quez Watkins WR | PHI

Eagles' Quez Watkins: Listed as limited Wednesday

Watkins (shoulder) was listed as a limited participant for Wednesday's walk-through practice.

Watkins was forced out this past Sunday against the Titans at the tail end of the third quarter and eventually was diagnosed with an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder. He was slated for an MRI on Monday, the results of which aren't known, but he at least would have been able to begin this week with a capped session, if the Eagles had held practice. In the end, Watkins will have two more chances to get back to full activity before the team potentially hands him a designation for Sunday's contest at the Giants.

  • Tylan Wallace WR | CLE

Ravens' Tylan Wallace: Could return in 2022

Wallace (hamstring) is expected to return from injured reserve at some point later this season, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Wallace was placed on IR this past Saturday, meaning the soonest he's eligible to play again is Week 17 versus Pittsburgh. In the meantime, Baltimore is thin at receiver, with only four healthy options currently on the 53-man roster.

  • Richie James WR | KC

Giants' Richie James: Still limited at practice

James (knee) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

James appears to be dealing with the same knee issue that resulted in him being limited in two practices last week, but he still was able to suit up this past Sunday against the Commanders. In the 20-20 tie, he turn a 52 percent snap share into three catches (on three targets) for 20 yards. Assuming he makes more progress as Week 14 prep ensues, James may enter the weekend without a designation for the Giants' matchup with the Eagles.

  • Zay Jones WR | HOU

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Listed as limited Wednesday

Jones (chest) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.

Jones was limited at practice last week as well by a chest issue before being deemed questionable for this past Sunday's 40-14 loss to the Lions. The wideout ended up suiting up for the contest and caught two of his seven targets for 16 yards while taking the field for 46 of the Jaguars' 56 snaps on offense. With no reported setbacks in the Week 13 contest, Jones' listed limitations Wednesday might have been maintenance-related. So long as he upgrades to full participation by Friday, he'll likely enter this weekend's game against the Titans without a designation.

  • Mecole Hardman WR | BUF

Chiefs' Mecole Hardman: Could be back Week 15

Head coach Andy Reid said Wednesday that Hardman (abdomen) could return from injured reserve for the Chiefs' Week 15 game in Houston, Herbie Teope of The Kansas City Star reports.

Reid noted that Hardman has resumed running and is "doing well" in his recovery from the abdominal injury, leaving the Chiefs optimistic that the receiver might be ready to go when he's first eligible to come off IR next week. Once Hardman is back in the mix, he may have to compete with Kadarius Toney (hamstring) for a regular spot alongside JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling in three-receiver sets. Toney has showed some intriguing playmaking skills in his first three games with the Chiefs, but the hamstring injury has kept him off the field for the past two contests and has perhaps stalled some of momentum he may have had in surpassing Hardman on the depth chart.
