Valdes-Scantling caught one of three targets for 20 yards during Sunday's 34-28 victory against the Broncos.

Valdes-Scantling has played around half the offensive snaps in each of the last three games, a far cry from the 70-plus percent he played in nearly every game through Week 11. MVS still drew 11 targets over the two previous games but received just three Sunday. He has gone over 100 receiving yards just once all season and has just one receiving touchdown to his name, so Valdes-Scantling can be left on the waiver wire in most formats.

Crowder (ankle) has been working off to the side during recent Bills practices but has yet to be designated for return from injured reserve, Sal Capaccio of WGR Sports Radio 550 Buffalo reports.

Though he's been sidelined since early October with a fractured ankle, Crowder hasn't been shut down for the season and is still eying a return to the field in late December. The veteran wideout thus looks on track to remain out for the Bills' Week 15 game against the Dolphins, though a return at some point during the final three weeks of the season remains feasible. Buffalo added some potential competition for Crowder and Isaiah McKenzie in the slot role earlier Tuesday, when the Bills coaxed Cole Beasley out of retirement and signed him to their practice squad.

Indianapolis signed Foster to the practice squad Tuesday.

Foster hasn't made a regular-season appearance since 2020, when he suited up for four games with Washington. He spent time earlier this season on the Giants' practice squad.

The Colts waived Coutee on Tuesday.

Coutee secured his only target for 20 yards across six appearances with Indianapolis this season, and he also contributed as a punt returner. He could be a candidate to resurface on the practice squad.

Gage brought in both targets for 12 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers' 35-7 loss to the 49ers in Week 14.

Gage was responsible for the Bucs' only reason to celebrate on the afternoon, making a literal shoestring scoring grab on a ball that caromed off both teammate Chris Godwin and the 49ers' Fred Warner at the goal line, just barely managing to break the plane, as confirmed by instant replay review. The modest numbers overall were par for the course in a disappointing, injury-riddled first season in Tampa Bay for Gage, however, as he'll carry a 32-254-2 line and tallies of 39 receiving yards or less in six consecutive contests into a Week 15 home interconference matchup against the Bengals.

Beasley is expected to end his retirement Tuesday and sign with the Bills' practice squad, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

The 33-year-old announced his retirement in October after a brief stint with the Buccaneers in which he suited up for two games and caught four of five targets for 17 yards. After the Bills came away from their recent meeting with free agent Odell Beckham (knee) without signing him, the organization will turn to a more familiar veteran receiver to fill out the position group. Given that he spent the 2019 through 2021 seasons in Buffalo under head coach Sean McDermott and with quarterback Josh Allen directing the offense, Beasley shouldn't need much time to gain familiarity with the offensive play calls. According to Garafolo, Beasley is expected to be elevated to the 53-man roster in short order, most likely ahead of Saturday's game against the Dolphins.

Anderson gathered in all four targets for 50 yards during Monday's 27-13 defeat to the Patriots.

Since Carolina dealt him to Arizona in October, Anderson has been an afterthought in the Cardinals offense, combining for two catches (on 10 targets) for 13 yards and no touchdowns in his first six appearances with the team. His uptick in production Monday may stem from familiarity at practice with backup quarterback Colt McCoy, who replaced Kyler Murray (knee) after the third offensive snap of the game. If Murray's injury ends up being season-ending, Anderson could be a factor operating with McCoy for the last four contests of the campaign.

Agholor secured five of 10 targets for 32 yards in the Patriots' 27-13 win over the Cardinals on Monday night.

Agholor tied for the team lead in receptions with Kendrick Bourne while comfortably setting the pace in targets with a total that qualified as a season high. The early exit of DeVante Parker with a head injury and the absence of Jakobi Meyers (concussion) certainly played a part in the busy night, but it's nevertheless encouraging the veteran speedster now has six- and five-catch tallies in two of his last three contests. Agholor could be heavily involved again in a favorable Week 15 matchup versus his old Raiders squad if either or both of his teammates is sidelined for that contest.

Brown secured four of eight targets for 34 yards in the Cardinals' 27-13 loss to the Patriots on Monday night.

Brown's numbers were naturally affected by the fact Kyler Murray exited the game on the third play of the game with what appears to be a serious knee injury. The speedster's ideal route tree lends itself much better to Murray than veteran quarterback Colt McCoy, who tends to frequently operate in the short and mid-range areas of the field. Brown's catch and yardage totals were his lowest since Week 1, but he'll aim to bounce back irrespective of who's under center in a Week 15 road matchup against the Broncos.

Hopkins brought in seven of 11 targets for 79 yards and lost a fumble that was returned for a touchdown in the Cardinals' 27-13 loss to the Patriots on Monday night.

Hopkins recorded all his numbers in conjunction with veteran quarterback Colt McCoy, who was called on after Kyler Murray suffered what appeared to be a serious knee injury on the Cardinals' third play of the game. Hopkins' lost fumble was returned 23 yards for a touchdown late in the third quarter by Raekwon McMillan to snap a 13-13 tie, but his reception, yardage and target totals were all team-high figures on the night. With double-digit looks in five of his first seven games of the season, there's little doubt the star wideout will remain an integral part of the air attack irrespective of who's under center.
