  • Rashid Shaheed WR | SEA

Saints' Rashid Shaheed: Avoids injury designation

Shaheed (hip) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Shaheed was a limited participant Thursday and Friday, after being listed as questionable on Wednesday's practice estimate. Avoiding an injury designation suggests he's expected to occupy his usual role, but that may prove less fruitful for fantasy managers with rookie Spencer Rattler replacing an injured Derek Carr (oblique) under center.

  • Josh Downs WR | IND

Colts' Josh Downs: Questionable for Week 6

Downs (toe) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Tennessee.

After suffering a toe injury this past Sunday in Jacksonville, Downs wasn't able to practice Wednesday or Thursday, but he returned Friday as a full participant, setting himself up to be available this weekend. Downs, fellow WR Michael Pittman (back) and QB Anthony Richardson (oblique) are questionable for Sunday's contest, and the statuses of the trio will be clarified about 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Packers' Christian Watson: Listed as questionable

Watson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Paul Bretl of ESPN La Crosse reports.

Watson was a limited practice participant Wednesday through Friday, after suffering the injury Week 4 and missing Week 5. Multiple reports suggested a high-ankle sprain as the diagnosis, but Watson's father (former NFL safety Tim Watson) revealed Wednesday that the wide receiver is recovering from a medial ankle sprain. The updated diagnosis doesn't mean Watson will play this Sunday, but the Packers are at least keeping the door open ahead of a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. His availability impacts workload expectations for perimeter wideouts Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks.

  • Rashod Bateman WR | BAL

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Good to go for favorable matchup

Bateman (groin) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Commanders.

Bateman had some soreness coming out of Baltimore's Week 5 win over the Bengals, but he steadily increased his activity level throughout the week and was a full participant Friday. He'll slot into his usual role as the No. 2 wide receiver behind Zay Flowers against a generous Washington secondary that has allowed a league-high 10 receiving touchdowns to wide receivers.

  • Johnny Wilson WR | PHI

    Eagles' Johnny Wilson: Past concussion

Wilson cleared concussion protocol Friday, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.

Wilson sustained a concussion during the Eagles' Week 4 loss to the Buccaneers, but it now appears he's moved past the issue. The rookie wide receiver out of Florida State has caught just one of his six targets for nine yards through Philadelphia's first four games. He's expected to play behind A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Jahan Dotson in Week 6 when the Eagles host the Browns.

  • 49ers' Ricky Pearsall: Practice window to open soon

Coach Kyle Shanahan said Friday that Pearsall (chest) will return to practice next week, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Shanahan thus confirmed a report from Albert Breer of NFL on Prime Video prior to Thursday's game at Seattle. The 49ers will need to make a procedural move to allow Pearsall to practice, but once his 21-day window to do so is opened, he'll begin the final stages of getting back into game shape after he suffered a gunshot wound during an attempted robbery Aug. 31.

  • Romeo Doubs WR | NE

Packers' Romeo Doubs: Back in for Week 6

Coach Matt LaFleur said Friday that Doubs will play Sunday against the Cardinals, Paul Bretl of ESPN Radio reports.

Doubs will return after being suspended by the team for the Week 5 win over the Rams. It remains to be seen if Christian Watson (ankle) also will rejoin a Packers receiving corps led by Jayden Reed. Doubs has caught 12 of 20 targets for 169 yards through four appearances in 2024.

  • Jakobi Meyers WR | JAC

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Returning to practice Friday

Coach Antonio Pierce said Meyers (ankle) will take part in Friday's practice, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

Meyers has missed back-to-back sessions to begin Week 6 prep due to an ankle injury, but his return to drills is a positive sign ahead of Sunday's game versus the Steelers. Fellow WR Davante Adams (hamstring) isn't expected to be available for that contest, so Meyers' status is key for a banged-up Raiders receiving corps.

  • Trey Palmer WR | NO

Buccaneers' Trey Palmer: Ruled out for Week 6

Palmer (concussion) won't play Sunday against the Saints, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Palmer will miss a second consecutive game, which could lead to an increased role for Sterling Shepard, especially if Jalen McMillan (hamstring) remains sidelined as well. Palmer's next chance to suit up will be Week 7 against the Ravens on MNF.

  • Josh Reynolds WR | NYJ

Broncos' Josh Reynolds: May miss some time

Reynolds underwent a minor procedure on his finger that likely will result in him sitting out Sunday against the Chargers and potentially longer, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Reynolds hasn't practiced so far this week due to a hand injury, but the precise nature of the issue previously wasn't known. The Broncos have yet to post their final Week 6 practice report, but based on Wilson's report, there's a decent chance Reynolds is ruled out for Sunday's game. If that comes to pass, Courtland Sutton will be the team's clear-cut No. 1 WR, with Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Marvin Mims, Troy Franklin and Devaughn Vele poised for bigger roles.
