Coleman (right foot/toe) isn't in uniform for Thursday's preseason game against the Steelers, but he wasn't wearing a walking boot, Alex Brasky of SI.com reports.

Coleman has been tending to a sprained right foot/toe that he sustained in the Bills' exhibition opener, which forced him to don a low walking boot since then. Shedding the boot is a positive sign in his recovery effort, but Coleman will join Khalil Shakir (undisclosed) and Tyrell Shavers (knee, active/PUP) as injured Buffalo wide receivers that won't suit up Thursday. Coleman will turn his focus to getting completely healthy for the team's regular-season opener Sunday, Sept. 13 at Houston.

Atwell was traded to the Rams on Thursday in exchange for running back Jarquez Hunter, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Atwell joined the Rams over the offseason after spending five seasons with the Rams, but he will return to his old stomping grounds before the regular season gets underway. He will compete with the likes of Jordan Whittington and Konata Mumpfield for snaps behind starters Puka Nacua (groin) and Davante Adams.

Robinson is being evaluated for a concussion after taking a hard hit in Thursday's joint practice with the Bears, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Robinson, per the report, was able to walk off the field under his own power, but he will still undergo tests to determine if he sustained a concussion. Another update on his status figures to be released after the results of the exams have been read.

Allen will make his first appearance with the Colts in Saturday's preseason finale against the Lions, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Allen began practicing with the Colts a week ago, and he is now set to see action in a game setting for the first time since joining Indianapolis earlier this month. Fellow wideouts Alec Pierce (ankle) and Josh Downs (calf) are both banged up, but both have a chance to take the field in Week 1, so Allen will presumably open the regular season as the third option at the wideout spot for the Colts.

Tillman (undisclosed) is in line to be cut by the Browns, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Tillman was a key depth piece for the Browns in recent years, but with the team drafting KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston in the first two rounds of this year's NFL Draft and both players asserting themselves during training camp, Cleveland made the decision to move on. Tillman -- a 2023 third-round pick -- is 26 years old and appeared in 38 NFL games, so he should draw interest from teams looking for a boost in the wide receiver room.

Pierce (ankle) is slated to be activated from the active/PUP list Thursday, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports.

Pierce has been sidelined since undergoing ankle surgery in March, and after encountering some hiccups that prevented him from participating in training camp he is now ready to get back on the field. It was reported earlier in August that Pierce was expected to be available in Week 1, and although that is not a lock, the wideout's looming practice participation has him trending toward that outcome, with over two weeks to prepare for his club's season-opening matchup with the Ravens.

Metcalf (undisclosed) has agreed to a restructured contract with the Steelers, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Metcalf signed a four-year, $132 million contract with the Steelers in March of 2025, and the revamp of the deal coverts a portion of his base salary into a signing bonus while opening up "nearly $18 million" in 2026 cap space for Pittsburgh. Metcalf has been slowed by an unspecified injury during training camp, but he practiced Monday and will be aiming to bounce back after finishing with a career-low 850 receiving yards over 15 regular-season games in 2025.

Olave (upper body) returned to practice Wednesday after exiting early Tuesday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Olave landed hard on his back Tuesday and had the wind knocked out of him, forcing the Saints' star wideout to sit out the remainder of the practice. It's clearly a non-issue moving forward. With Jordyn Tyson (hamstring) set to miss the beginning of the regular season, Olave should see a heavy dose of targets in the New Orleans passing game out of the gate.

Evans' groin injury is considered minor, and he plans to be ready for the 49ers' Week 1 regular-season opener against the Rams on Thursday, Sept. 10, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.

Evans has missed a bunch of practice time during training camp. first dealing with a quad issue before coming down with a groin injury earlier this week. While he's aiming to be ready for Week 1, Evans and Brock Purdy haven't had much time to work on their chemistry. At 33 years old with a checkered injury history, Evans is shaping up as a boom-or-bust fantasy pick headed into the season.

Jackson and the Buccaneers agreed on a contract Wednesday, Scott Smith of the team's official website reports.

Jackson was cut loose by the Texans on Monday, and he has now quickly found a new home with Tampa Bay. The wide receiver caught both of his targets for nine yards while also adding a 27-yard kick return and an eight-yard punt return over two preseason contests with Houston. Jackson's best chance to make the Buccaneers' initial 53-man roster will be as a special-teams asset.
