  • Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba: Single-digit yardage in win

Smith-Njigba brought in three of six targets for nine yards in the Seahawks' 34-14 win over the Falcons on Sunday.

Smith-Njigba was held to the second-lowest yardage total of his career by a Falcons defense that has been doing a good job keeping plays in front of it all season. The profoundly disappointing showing followed a relatively encouraging stretch of games for the second-year pro, who'd posted a 32-291-1 line on 47 targets in his previous five games. Given the atypical nature of his numbers Sunday, Smith-Njigba shapes up as a prime candidate for a bounce-back performance against the Bills at home in Week 8, especially if DK Metcalf is limited or sidelined by the knee injury that forced his exit from Sunday's game.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Four grabs in Week 7 win

Lockett secured four of six targets for 45 yards in the Seahawks' 34-14 win over the Falcons on Sunday.

Lockett tied for the team lead in receptions and for second in targets, but it was a quiet afternoon for the veteran wideout overall. Lockett has been a steady yet similarly unremarkable performer through his first seven games, and he's topped out at five receptions and 75 yards in his last six contests. Lockett could be in line for a bigger role in a Week 8 home showdown against the Bills, given the matchup and the fact DK Metcalf exited Sunday's game in the fourth quarter with a knee injury of to-be-determined severity.

  • Deebo Samuel WR | WAS

49ers' Deebo Samuel: Out with illness

Samuel has been ruled out of Sunday's contest versus the Chiefs due to an illness, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Prior to Sunday's kickoff, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reported that Samuel was dealing with an illness but was expected to attempt to play through it. However, after only a sprinkling of snaps early in the contest, Samuel remained on the sideline and eventually walked to the locker room slowly in the second quarter. After halftime, Samuel, along with Brandon Aiyuk (knee), was ruled out, leaving Chris Conley, Ricky Pearsall, Jacob Cowing and Ronnie Bell as the 49ers' available healthy wide receivers, with Jauan Jennings (hip) inactive.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Productive on low volume

Pittman caught three of five targets for 63 yards in Sunday's 16-10 win over the Dolphins.

As expected. Pittman didn't see significant target volume with Anthony Richardson back under center for the Colts, but the wideout was able to make an impact with a 33-yard grab just before halftime and a 21-yard catch in the fourth quarter that each helped set up field goals. Pittman put together a 14-185-2 line on 22 targets over three games with Joe Flacco at the helm of the offense, but if he continues to show increased chemistry with Richardson on deep balls, he might be able to maintain that level of production.

  • Drake London WR | ATL

Falcons' Drake London: Finds end zone again Sunday

London secured six of eight targets for 63 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons' 34-14 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.

London finished as the runner-up in receptions and receiving yards right behind Kyle Pitts while tying Darnell Mooney for second in targets as well. The third-year pro also recorded a touchdown for the third straight game on a five-yard grab midway through the third quarter and now has exactly six catches in four of his last five games. London next takes aim at a Buccaneers secondary that he posted a season-best 12-154-1 line against during a Week 6 overtime home victory.

  • 49ers' Brandon Aiyuk: Injures knee, ruled out Sunday

Aiyuk won't return to Sunday's contest against the Chiefs due to a knee injury, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Aiyuk picked up the health concern at the end of a 15-yard catch late in the second quarter. He was able to get to the sideline under his own power, but after visiting the sideline tent, he was carted to the locker room at the start of halftime, pointing at his right knee in the process, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. With Jauan Jennings (inactive) and Deebo Samuel (illness) also ruled out, Chris Conley, Ricky Pearsall, Jacob Cowing and Ronnie Bell are the 49ers' current healthy wide receivers.

  • Lions' Jameson Williams: Disappears in Week 7 win

Williams brought in his only target for minus-4 yards in the Lions' 31-29 win over the Vikings on Sunday.

Williams' final line tells the tale of how forgettable his afternoon was in every sense. The third-year wideout had come into the division clash with a two-game touchdown streak and at least 76 receiving yards in four of his first five games of the season, but Sunday marked his second one-reception tally of the campaign. Williams' speed makes him a candidate to bounce back in noteworthy fashion on any given week, however, with a home matchup against the Titans next Sunday his first opportunity to erase the memory of his season-worst outing.

  • 49ers' Brandon Aiyuk: Carted to locker room

Aiyuk went to the locker room on a cart due to an undisclosed injury at halftime of Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Aiyuk remained on the turf after a 15-yard catch late in the second quarter, and while he was able to walk to the sideline under his own power, he required assistance to reach the locker room. With Deebo Samuel dealing with an illness and barely seeing the field Sunday and Jauan Jennings (hip) inactive, the 49ers may have to play the rest of Week 7 with Chris Conley, Ricky Pearsall, Jacob Cowing and Ronnie Bell at wide receiver.

  • Jordan Addison WR | MIN

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Three grabs in loss

Addison brought in three of four targets for 66 yards in the Vikings' 31-29 loss to the Lions on Sunday.

Addison was third or tied for that slotting in receptions, receiving yards and targets for the Vikings on the afternoon, but that resulted in relatively unremarkable production. The second-year wideout did manage a game-long 51-yard reception, and Addison's numbers were a marked improvement over his 36-yard tally in Week 5 against the Jets. Addison has exactly three catches in each of his first four games heading into a Week 8 road matchup against the Rams on Thursday night.

  • Amari Cooper WR | LV

Bills' Amari Cooper: Finds end zone in Bills debut

Cooper recorded four receptions on five targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-10 win over the Titans.

Cooper made his Bills debut after being dealt from Cleveland in the middle of the week, and he delivered an efficient performance. Things got off to an inauspicious start, as he dropped his first target from Josh Allen. His next opportunity didn't come until early in the second half, but he converted that for a 12-yard touchdown and then went on to tally long catches of 27 and 19 yards later in the same quarter. Moving forward, Cooper isn't likely to see the same volume as he did during his time in Cleveland, but his efficiency should tick up considerably with Allen delivering his targets.
