Long (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus Green Bay, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

Long was designated to return from injured reserve Oct. 25, but he wasn't activated for Week 8 against Dallas despite logging a trio of full practice sessions ahead of that contest. The third-year tight end practiced in full all three days this week as well, but the Rams are opting to hold him out for another game. Los Angeles is on bye next week, so Long's next chance to suit up will be Sunday, Nov. 19 against Seattle.

Musgrave (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's contest against the Rams.

Musgrave has been tending to a left ankle injury since the later stages of the Packers' Week 7 loss at Denver, but he still logged a typical 74 percent snap share this past Sunday against the Vikings en route to two catches (on three targets) for nine yards. He'll look for a more fruitful outing Week 9 versus a Rams defense that has allowed an NFL-high 9.2 yards per target to tight ends this season.

Jordan (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bucs.

Jordan has just five catches for 51 yards and one touchdown behind Dalton Schultz this season. Eric Saubert will fill the Texans' No. 2 tight end duties against Tampa Bay in Week 9.

Njoku (ankle) was a full participant in practice Friday and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.

Njoku's practice participation trended in the right direction throughout the week, as he went from sitting out Wednesday to limited participation Thursday before gaining clearance for Sunday after Friday's full session. The tight end had a season-high 77 yards and a touchdown with PJ Walker under center last week against the Seahawks, but he'll be catching passes from returning starting quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) against the Cardinals.

Brown (back) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Commanders.

Brown put forth a limited practice Friday and will look to avoid his first absence of the season Sunday. If he suits up against the Commanders, Brown will continue to fill a depth role in a tight end corps that also includes Hunter Henry and Mike Gesicki.

Granson has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol and is slated to play Sunday against the Panthers.

Granson, who last suited up Week 6, is thus slated to reenter the Colts' tight end mix following a two-game absence. In the six contests he's been available for this season, he's caught 16 of his 26 targets for 170 yards and a TD, though in his last outing Oct. 15 versus the Jaguars, the 2021 fourth-rounder hauled in three of his four targets for a season-high 67 yards. In his return to action, however, Granson profiles as a hit-or-miss fantasy option, with fellow TEs Drew Ogletree, Mo Alie-Cox and Will Mallory also available this weekend.

Washington secured his lone target for seven yards during the Steelers' 20-16 win over the Titans on Thursday.

Although Pat Freiermuth (hamstring) remained on injured reserve in Week 9, Washington failed to generate much production in the Steelers' passing game. Although Connor Heyward was limited to just two receptions for 16 yards, he appears to have established himself as Pittsburgh's clear top tight end with Freiermuth unavailable.

Smythe (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Kansas City, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

Smythe had a walking boot on after the 31-17 Week 8 win over New England, but he managed to log limited practices Thursday and Friday after failing to practice Wednesday. That's the same practice schedule that running back Raheem Mostert (ankle) followed heading into Sunday morning's game in Frankfurt, but Mostert avoided an injury designation, suggesting Smythe is lagging behind his teammate in his recovery. The tight end's availability will be determined 90 minutes before Sunday's 9:30 a.m. ET kickoff.

Bellinger is lined up to work as the Giants' starting tight end for an extended period, with Darren Waller (hamstring) a candidate to miss several weeks, per Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record.

Bellinger worked almost exclusively as a starter as a rookie last season, but he's taken a back seat for the most part in 2023 with New York signing Waller in the offseason. However, Waller suffered a hamstring injury in Sunday's loss to the Jets and has indicated that he's likely to miss multiple contests. That should push Bellinger into a more prominent role, though he shouldn't be expected to match Waller's success as a pass catcher. Daniel Jones (neck) is expected to return to action Sunday against Las Vegas after missing each of New York's past three games, which should boost the outlook of Bellinger and the team's entire pass-catching corps. Still, Bellinger averaged a modest 2.5 catches for 22.3 yards over 12 contests working with Jones as the team's top TE last year, so expectations for his production in Waller's stead should be tempered.

Heyward brought in two of three targets for 16 yards in the Steelers' 20-16 win over the Titans on Thursday night.

Heyward was minimally involved as the top pass-catching tight end for the Steelers in the ongoing absence of Pat Freiermuth (IR-hamstring). The second-year pro had posted a season-high five receptions in Week 8, but as Thursday demonstrated, his week-to-week production will be difficult to trust in a middling Kenny Pickett-led passing attack.
