Noah Fant TE | CIN
Bengals' Noah Fant: Shut out in loss to Lions
Fant didn't draw a target while playing 15 of the Bengals' 62 snaps on offense in Sunday's 37-24 loss to the Lions.
Fant made his return to action Sunday after a concussion kept him out of the Bengals' Week 4 loss to the Broncos. The Bengals didn't necessarily ease Fant back in with a light workload, as he had logged just 17 and 18 snaps in his previous two appearances. He'll continue to handle a light role as a backup tight end while Mike Gesicki is fully healthy.

Mike Gesicki TE | CIN
Bengals' Mike Gesicki: Another quiet game
Gesicki recorded two catches for 15 yards on five targets in Sunday's 37-24 loss to the Lions.
After turning in a big campaign in 2024 with 65 catches for 665 yards and two touchdowns, Gesicki hasn't gotten on track in five games this season. The addition of Noah Fant has cut into Gesicki's workload, and the Bengals have struggled as a whole offensively since Jake Browning stepped in at quarterback for the injured Joe Burrow (toe). Through five weeks, Gesicki has managed a poor 8-61-0 receiving line on 16 targets.

Moliki Matavao TE | NO
Moliki Matavao: Signs with practice squad
The Saints signed Matavao to the practice squad Tuesday.
Matavao was a seventh-round pick by the Saints back in April's NFL Draft and has bounced between the practice squad and active roster for much of the first five weeks of the season.

Brenton Strange TE | JAC
Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Heads to IR with quad issue
The Jaguars placed Strange on injured reserve Tuesday due to a quadriceps injury, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Strange sustained what the Jaguars had previously labeled as a hip injury with just over four minutes remaining in the first half of Monday's 31-28 win over the Chiefs, resulting in his early exit from the contest. After undergoing further testing, Strange has now been diagnosed with a quad issue that will keep him out multiple games, though Garafolo relays that the Jaguars anticipate that the tight end has avoided a season-ending injury and will be able to return in around a month. Despite playing just 22 snaps in Monday's win, Strange leads the Jaguars with 20 catches through five games and has produced 204 receiving yards and no touchdowns. His absence should open up more opportunities at tight end for Johnny Mundt and Hunter Long.

Hunter Long TE | JAC
Jaguars' Hunter Long: Sees season-high in playing time
Long caught one pass for three yards in the Jaguars' win over the Chiefs on Monday night.
With Brenton Strange (hip) missing the second half of Monday's win, Long was the biggest beneficiary in terms of playing time, as he logged a season-high 60 percent of the offensive snaps. Long did little with the added playing time and has a 7-44-2 receiving line on eight targets across five games this season.

Johnny Mundt TE | JAC
Jaguars' Johnny Mundt: Catches one pass in win
Mundt caught one pass for seven yards in the Jaguars' win over the Chiefs on Monday night.
With Brenton Strange (hip) missing the second half of the game, Mundt logged 34.5 percent of the Jaguars' offensive snaps in Week 5, but he was targeted just the one time. Even if Strange misses time, Mundt won't be a recommended fantasy target.

Travis Kelce TE | KC
Chiefs' Travis Kelce: Saves best for MNF
Kelce finished with seven receptions (on eight targets) for 61 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 31-28 loss to the Jaguars.
Kelce finally put it all together for his managers Week 5, producing his best fantasy score through five starts. The 35-year-old finished with a season-high seven receptions while scoring his second touchdown of the campaign. Even with his slow start to the season, Kelce is providing enough of a floor for fantasy managers with a 22-243-2 receiving line in 2025. Up next for the Chiefs will be a home tilt against a hot Lions squad on Sunday Night Football in Week 6.

Foster Moreau TE | NO
Saints' Foster Moreau: Zero catches in 2025 debut
Moreau tallied zero targets during Sunday's 26-14 win versus the Giants.
Moreau eased his way back during his first game off the PUP list. The 28-year-old played a lower percentage of offensive snaps (35) than the team's other two tight ends, Juwan Johnson (85) and Jack Stoll (38). Meanwhile, Taysom Hill served almost exclusively as a rushing option in what was also his first game of the season. Moreau wasn't a significant part of the passing game over the last two years in New Orleans, but he played more offensive snaps (711) than TE1 Johnson (653) over 17 regular-season games in 2024. He should eventually ramp back up to become the clear-cut TE2, but his fantasy value will be minimal except for the deepest of PPR leagues. His next opportunity to crack the stat sheet comes Sunday against the Patriots.

Brenton Strange TE | JAC
Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Ruled out against Chiefs
Strange has been ruled out from returning to Monday's game against the Chiefs, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.
Strange suffered the injury in the first half, and he was briefly checked in the medical tent and spotted riding a stationary bike. He never appeared close to returning thereafter, as he was seen on the sideline without his helmet to begin the second half. The severity of the injury is not yet clear.

Taysom Hill TE | NO
Saints' Taysom Hill: Plays nine snaps in 2025 debut
Hill logged six carries for minus-1 yard and completed his lone passing attempt for 19 yards during Sunday's 26-14 victory versus the Giants.
Hill figured back into his role as a rushing quarterback and Swiss Army knife on offense during his first game back since suffering a torn ACL in Week 13 of the 2024 season. While he played only nine offensive snaps, the 35-year-old was featured nearly every time he got on the field, including multiple looks in short-yardage and third-down situations. Hill played at least 40 percent of offensive snaps in six of the eight regular-season games that he played last year, and he averaged 7.8 touches for 58.2 yards per contest in 2024. As he continues to ramp up his playing time, he should carry some value as a boom-or-bust option as a TE2 or FLEX play in most fantasy leagues, especially non-PPR formats. It will be worth monitoring how much, or if, his playing time increases during New Orleans' Week 6 matchup versus New England.
