White rushed the ball 11 times for 76 yards in Sunday's 26-23 overtime win against the Panthers. He added one reception on one target for two yards.

White had remained in a relatively even backfield split with Bucky Irving in recent weeks, though he took on a more complementary role in Sunday's win. All told, Irving out-touched White 28-14, with Irving racking up an impressive 185 yards from scrimmage. Positively, it was one of White's more effective games as a rusher this season, highlighted by a 38-yard run in overtime to set up the game-winning field goal. Despite that, it will be difficult to trust him as a fantasy starter, as all of the momentum appears to be on Irving's side.

Mason took 13 carries for 78 yards and received no targets in Sunday's 35-10 loss to Buffalo.

Mason saw a spike in carries in Sunday's blowout loss after starter Christian McCaffrey (knee) limped off the field at halftime and did not return. The capable backup looked the part in a run-heavy game plan dictated by snowy conditions. McCaffrey's status will be clarified as the practice week progresses, but savvy fantasy managers should already be putting claims in for Mason after the work he put in as fill-in starter earlier this year. It is worth mentioning that Mason also left Sunday's contest to be evaluated for a concussion, but he was subsequently cleared and finished without issue, according to 49ers team reporter Lindsey Lares.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan said after Sunday's 35-10 loss to the Bills that McCaffrey (knee) suffered a PCL injury in the contest that may be season-ending, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Making only his fourth appearance after missing the 49ers' first eight games due to a strained calf and bilateral Achilles tendinitis, McCaffrey injured his right knee while he attempted to plant his feet and move upfield on a pitch, only to slide down and take a five-yard loss. After initially heading to the locker room and being listed as questionable to return, McCaffrey was ruled out for the rest of the night. The star running back will likely undergo further testing Monday to confirm that he's dealing with a PCL injury, and in the likely event that McCaffrey misses time, Jordan Mason and Isaac Guerendo will be relied upon to lead San Francisco's backfield. If McCaffrey doesn't play again in 2024, he'll finish the campaign with 50 carries for 202 yards, 15 catches on 19 targets for 146 yards and zero total touchdowns.

Davis rushed 11 times for 63 yards and a touchdown while catching his only target for four yards in Sunday's 35-10 win over the 49ers.

Davis was involved early, scoring a five-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter, but most of his yardage came later in the game after the result was no longer in doubt. James Cook (14 carries for 107 yards and a touchdown) paced Buffalo's backfield as usual, but Davis benefited from a run-heavy game plan in snowy conditions. Davis will continue to work as the team's No. 2 running back behind Cook in Week 14 against the Rams.

Cook rushed 14 times for 107 yards and a touchdown while catching his only target for 13 yards in Sunday's 35-10 win over the 49ers.

Cook outraced San Francisco's defense down the sideline for a 65-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter after watching Ray Davis cap the previous drive with a five-yard touchdown run. Buffalo's run-heavy game script helped Cook exceed 100 rushing yards for only the second time this season, as he came four yards short of his Week 8 season high against the Seahawks. Cook also raised his rushing touchdown total to 11, which is a marked improvement from his two rushing touchdowns apiece in 2022 and 2023. He'll look to continue his success against NFC West competition in Week 14 against the Rams.

Brooks rushed the ball six times for 18 yards in Sunday's 26-23 overtime win against the Buccaneers. He added three receptions on three targets for 23 yards.

Brooks wasn't all that impressive with his rushing opportunity, but he saw his carry total jump from two to six in his second pro game. He was also much more effective as a receiver, highlighted by a shifty 18-yard catch and run late in the first quarter. While Brooks is unlikely to overtake Chuba Hubbard to lead the Carolina backfield, it appears clear that he will continue to carve out a role moving forward.

Hubbard rushed the ball 12 times for 43 yards in Sunday's 26-23 overtime loss to the Buccaneers. He was not targeted.

Hubbard continued to lead the Carolina backfield, though he out-touched Jonathon Brooks by a margin of only 12-9. He was also held in check for most of the game, as his longest gain went for only nine yards and he had a fumble in overtime that cost the Panthers a chance at victory. Perhaps most concerning in regards to role was Hubbard's lack of involvement as a receiver, as this marked only the third time this season that he wasn't targeted. He has at least four receptions in six contests for the campaign, which has served as a significant portion of his fantasy value.

McCaffrey (knee) won't return to Sunday's game against the Bills.

McCaffrey was ruled out at halftime after limping to the locker room in the first half. Jordan Mason and Isaac Guerendo will lead San Francisco's rushing attack in the second half. McCaffrey will finish the night with seven carries for 53 yards and two catches for 14 yards on three targets. His next chance to play will be Week 14 against the Bears.

Irving rushed the ball 25 times for 152 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 26-23 overtime win over the Panthers. He added three catches on three targets for 33 yards.

Irving had secured an increased role in the Tampa Bay offense in recent weeks, but he took over the backfield in Sunday's win. He accounted for 25 of 36 carries by the team's running backs, four of which went for double-digit gains --highlighted by a 43-yard pickup to help set up a field goal late in the fourth quarter. Irving also found the end zone for the third straight game and could be in for some additional big performances down the stretch.

McCaffrey (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Bills.

McCaffrey felt something in his leg and slid down immediately after receiving a toss in the second quarter, then got up limping and promptly went to the medical tent. The star running back went to the locker room soon thereafter, per Cam Inman of the Bay Area News Group. McCaffrey had been off to a strong start in snowy Buffalo prior to the injury, rushing seven times for 53 yards and catching two of three targets for 14 yards. Jordan Mason and Isaac Guerendo will comprise San Francisco's backfield in McCaffrey's absence.
