Ben Tate RB | PIT
Terrance West RB | BAL
Browns' backs could find success Thursday
The Browns' decision to move Terrance West into the top spot on their running back hierarchy didn't really pay dividends for them in Week 9 against the Buccaneers, but things could work out better in Week 10 against the Bengals Thursday.
The Bengals opened the season doing a solid job against running backs, but their defense has fallen apart since their Week 4 bye. Over the last five games, eight different running backs have racked up at least nine Fantasy points against the Bengals, a stat that also bodes well for recently deposed starter Ben Tate.
Tate and West shared the workload pretty evenly last week, though Tate had the edge in carries (13 to 10) and snaps (55 percent to 45 percent). Still, with this kind of matchup on the way, Fantasy owners might find some value in both players. West seems like the better play in Week 10, but both could find their way into your lineup if you have bye weeks or injuries leaving you shallow at the position.

Report: Good chance Dolphins RB Lamar Miller will play Week 10
Although Dolphins running back Lamar Miller is considered day to day with an AC joint sprain, there is a good chance he will play Week 10 against the Lions, according to the Miami Herald.
Offensive coordinator Bill Lazor provided no insight Monday about Miller's availability for Sunday's game, but he didn't seem overly concerned about the team being without Miller. If Miller is sidelined, Daniel Thomas or Damien Williams will start at running back.
"If Lamar needs [rest] and he comes out, very infrequently do I start calling the game differently," Lazor said. "Sometimes if it is long-term, we would have to think about it and consider what they do best because I think that’s what the smart thing is -- to do what guys do best. For the most part, we don’t have a million different runs. For the most part, they all have been working out all the runs that we do well. I think we’ll be able to trust all of them."
Miller has started every game this season for the Dolphins. He is the team's leading rusher with 518 yards. He is averaging 4.9 yards per carry and has six touchdowns (five rushing) through eight games.

Ahmad Bradshaw RB | IND
Trent Richardson RB | BAL
Ahmad Bradshaw, Trent Richardson both effective on MNF
Colts running backs Ahmad Bradshaw and Trent Richardson both looked sharp in Monday's easy win over the Giants. Bradshaw ran seven times for 50 yards (7.1 ypc), while Richardson carried seven times for 33 yards (4.7 ypc) after not playing Week 8 due to a hamstring injury.
As expected, Bradshaw got more opportunities a receiver. He caught three of five targets for 29 yards against his former team. Richardson secured both his targets for 9 yards.
Neither scored a touchdown despite Indy putting up 40 points. Bradshaw and Richardson are on a bye Week 10.

Jeff Fisher: RB Tre Mason 'missed a couple holes'
Rams coach Jeff Fisher said rookie running back Tre Mason "played pretty well" in the Week 9 win at San Francisco. Mason rushed 19 times for 65 yards (3.4 ypc) and caught one pass for minus-8 yards.
"He missed a couple holes but he ran real hard," Fisher said. "He overcame some things. His ball security’s good, pass protection is good. He needed to get out in the routes. I thought he played pretty well."
Despite Mason's big workload, Fisher said the backfield remains a committee, and Zac Stacy and Benny Cunningham will get work moving forward.

Jeff Fisher refuses to call RB Tre Mason the starter
Rams rookie running back Tre Mason carried 19 times in the Week 9 win at San Francisco, compared to four for Benny Cunningham and zero for Zac Stacy. But coach Jeff Fisher on Monday declined to name Mason the starter or primary option, reports ESPN.com.
Fisher insisted the team hasn't lost faith in Stacy, who's averaged 3.9 yards per carry with one touchdown and two lost fumbles this season.

Teddy Bridgewater QB | DET
Cordarrelle Patterson RB | PIT
Mike Zimmer: Vikes might throw deep more often
After watching quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and wideout Cordarrelle Patterson fail to connect on several long pass plays Sunday, Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said he's more determined than ever to fix the problem.
"What I do believe is, we probably need to throw it some more and we will hit it," Zimmer told ESPN.com.
Zimmer said he'd love to get Patterson more involved but added, "We're not precise enough in all areas. ... Guys have to make sure they're in the right places at all times."
