Chase Edmonds RB | WAS
Cardinals' Chase Edmonds: Loses a yard
Edmonds carried the ball once for a loss of a yard and was unable to connect with Josh Rosen on his lone target during Sunday's 28-18 win over the 49ers.
The Cardinals finally broke through on the scoring thanks to five San Francisco turnovers. It did little for Edmonds, who has all of 10 yards on nine touches over the past three weeks. Don't expect much of a reprieve Sunday. The Cardinals take on a Vikings defense ranked 12th in the league in opponent yards per carry.

Corey Clement RB | ARI
Eagles' Corey Clement: Says he will play
Clement (quadriceps) indicated Tuesday that he will play in Thursday's game against the Giants, Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News reports.
With Jay Ajayi (ACL) lost for the season and Darren Sproles' (hamstring) status up in the air, Clement could be contending with Wendell Smallwood and possibly Josh Adams for carries during Thursday's matchup with the Giants. Clement's estimated full participation Tuesday furthers the notion that he will suit up for the contest. He toted the rock 16 times in Week 3 with Ajayi out of commission, suggesting he will likely be first in line for the lead role in his absence.

Mark Walton RB | MIA
Bengals' Mark Walton: Tiny uptick in job security
The Bengals waived Thomas Rawls on Tuesday, thus removing a potential option to replace Walton as the backup behind Joe Mixon this week.
The added sliver of job security might not translate into extra playing time, as Rawls didn't receive any snaps on offense. But Giovani Bernard (knee) is expected to miss this week's game against the Steelers, so should anything happen to Mixon, Walton would be the sole remaining option in the backfield.

Thomas Rawls RB | JAC
Thomas Rawls: Cut loose by Cincinnati
The Bengals waived Rawls on Tuesday.
Cincinnati signed Rawls ahead of its Week 3 game, but Rawls was inactive for back-to-back contests before finally making his debut in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Dolphins. The active designation didn't mean much, however, as Rawls earned zero offensive snaps while working as the clear No. 3 back behind Joe Mixon and Mark Walton. Cincinnati is now without a healthy third option in the backfield with Giovani Bernard (knee) likely to miss at least one more game, but it's unclear if the team intends to add another depth piece to the group or simply proceed with Mixon and Walton as its sole backs Week 6 against the Steelers.

Corey Clement RB | ARI
Eagles' Corey Clement: Practices fully Tuesday
Clement (quadriceps) was listed as a full participant in Tuesday's practice, Zack Rosenblatt of NJ.com reports.
The Eagles had listed Clement on their first practice report of Week 6 on Monday, but that was merely an estimate with the team not holding an official session. Clement apparently took every rep Tuesday when the team reconvened, likely clearing the way for him to suit up Thursday against the Giants. Unless the Eagles address their backfield depth with an outside pickup, Clement and Wendell Smallwood should be in store for heightened roles the rest of the season after Jay Ajayi (knee) was placed on injured reserve.

Brandon Wilds RB | JAC
Brandon Wilds: Let go by Jags
Wilds was released by the Jaguars on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL.com reports.
Wilds was in line to take on a bigger role in the Jacksonville backfield when Corey Grant was forced out of Sunday's loss to the Chiefs with a foot injury. However, with the team electing to bring in veteran tailback Jamal Charles on Tuesday, Wilds has been let go in order to open up a roster spot.

Matt Dayes RB | NO
Matt Dayes: Latches on with 49ers
Dayes signed with the 49ers' practice squad Tuesday.
The 2017 seventh-round pick by the Browns was waived by the team Sept. 2. Dayes appeared in all 16 games for the Browns last season and had five carries for 13 yards while adding four receptions for 29 yards. He was also active on both sides of the ball on special teams, registering 18 kickoff returns for 437 yards (24.3 average) and eight tackles.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Finishes with nine touches
Kamara rushed six times for 24 yards and caught three of four targets for 15 yards in Monday night's 43-19 win over the Redskins.
Kamara averaged over 18 touches per game entering Monday's contest, but the lopsided scoreline coupled with the return of backfield mate Mark Ingram resulted in him seeing just half of that mark. Additionally, it was Ingram who scored twice from inside the two-yard line, with Taysom Hill scoring from the one to boot. While it may have been a disappointing output for Kamara heading into the Saints' bye week, he and Ingram showed last year they could both be wildly productive working in tandem, and Kamara will surely be needed more than he was Monday in the vast majority of games.

Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Browns' Nick Chubb: Quiet performance Sunday
Chubb carried three times for two yards and failed to catch his lone target during Sunday's 12-9 overtime win against the Ravens.
Despite Chubb's two-touchdown, 105-yard performance Week 4, the rookie running back didn't see an increase in work Sunday, as expected, and was shut down during the rare times when he did touch the ball. He did, however, see more field time, as he increased his snap count from three to 11. Chubb hasn't garnered more than three touches in any week this season, and that doesn't figure to change with Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson firmly ahead of him on the depth chart.

Corey Clement RB | ARI
Eagles' Corey Clement: Listed as full practice participant
Clement (quadriceps) was estimated as a full practice participant on the Eagles' injury report Monday, Zach Berman of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
After taking a seat Week 4 due to a quadriceps injury, Clement was on the active roster Sunday against the Vikings but didn't earn a single snap, offensive or otherwise. During that contest, Jay Ajayi picked up a torn ACL, an injury that bodes well for Clement's prospects moving forward. Clement will have to contend with Wendell Smallwood and eventually Darren Sproles (hamstring), when healthy, for touches out of the backfield. The breakdown of work between the trio is difficult to peg, but Clement and Smallwood are the best bets to earn a combination of carries and catches. In 19 regular-season games with the Eagles, Clement has averaged 4.3 YPC on 101 runs, reeled in 18 of 25 passes, and scored seven touchdowns.
