  • Derrick Henry RB | BAL

Titans' Derrick Henry: Reaches century mark

Henry carried the ball 27 times for 100 yards in Week 4 against Atlanta. He also added one reception for eight yards.

While not particularly efficient, Henry received 27 of the team's 34 carries to enjoy a productive day. Most of his volume came in the second half, when he picked up 18 carries and 71 yards. While still not heavily involved in the passing game, Henry has earned at least 15 carries in all four of the Titans' games this season. That has allowed him to turn in consistent fantasy performances and is one of the more reliable -- if unspectacular -- options at the position as a result. However, he'll draw a tough matchup in Week 5 against Buffalo.

  • Melvin Gordon RB | BAL

Chargers' Melvin Gordon: Does not play Sunday

Gordon did not take a snap in the team's 30-10 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.

This shouldn't come as a surprise, as the Chargers, who were without backup Justin Jackson (calf), made it clear throughout the week Gordon would only see the field should Austin Ekeler or Troymaine Pope suffer an injury. It seems likely Gordon will at least take the field next week against the Broncos, but with Ekeler (122 total yards, two touchdowns Sunday) continuing to dominate, it remains to be seen how involved the 2016 first-round pick will be moving forward.

  • Austin Ekeler RB | WAS

Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Goes over 100 total yards

Ekeler carried the ball 18 times for 60 yards while catching all five of his targets for 62 yards, finishing the contest with two total touchdowns in Sunday's 30-10 win over the Dolphins.

It remains to be seen how Ekeler will be used moving forward, but at least in the first week with Melvin Gordon back on the team, the diminutive speedster was still the main threat, splitting time with Troymaine Pope instead. The Chargers made it clear during the week Gordon would only be used in an emergency situation, something that never occurred with both Pope and Ekeler healthy throughout. Therefore, it's tough to really gauge how the team will operate their two-headed backfield. The third-year back has been incredibly productive as the leading ballcarrier for the Chargers, posting 220 rushing yards and 270 receiving yards along with six touchdowns through four games. However, head coach Anthony Lynn made it known Gordon would resume his lead-back role as soon as the team deemed him physically ready, which could occur as early as Week 5 against the Broncos.

  • Panthers' Christian McCaffrey: Logs 37 touches in upset win

McCaffrey rushed 27 times for 93 yards and a touchdown and brought in all 10 of his targets for 86 yards in the Panthers' 16-10 win over the Texans on Sunday.

With a relatively inexperienced quarterback under center in a difficult road environment against an aggressive defense, the Panthers utilized McCaffrey's highly versatile skill set as a major crutch. The strategy worked well for both the team and the star back's fantasy managers, with his massive workload leading to a highly fruitful day. McCaffrey was responsible for Carolina's only touchdown of the day on a three-yard run with just over a minute left in the first half, his fourth rushing score over the first four games. His 27 totes set a new high-water mark for him on the season, while his reception total equaled a season-best figure. The 2017 first-round pick will look to build on his stellar first quarter of the campaign at the expense of the Jaguars in Week 5.

  • Nick Chubb RB | HOU

Browns' Nick Chubb: Runs all over Ravens

Chubb rushed 20 times for 165 yards and three touchdowns while adding three catches for 18 yards on four targets in Sunday's 40-25 win over Baltimore.

Chubb came alive in the second half, scoring touchdowns from 14 and two yards out in the third quarter to turn a 10-10 tie into a 24-10 lead before exploding for an 88-yard score in the fourth. He had a short touchdown vultured by Dontrell Hilliard late in the fourth quarter, but Chubb's fantasy owners shouldn't be concerned about that considering the game was pretty much out of reach by then and Chubb had already done more than enough to make them happy. Finally living up to his lofty draft day valuation, Chubb should be fired up as an RB1 against the 49ers in Week 5.

  • Marlon Mack RB | ARI

Colts' Marlon Mack: Exits game with ankle injury

Mack was forced out of Sunday's game against the Raiders with an ankle injury, Zak Keefer of The Athletic reports.

Prior to his exit from the game, Mack had logged 11 carries for 39 yards. In his absence, Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines are next up for the Colts' backfield touches.

  • Rashaad Penny RB | CAR

Seahawks' Rashaad Penny: Won't play Sunday

Penny (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

With Penny unavailable, Chris Carson will continue to head the Seahawks' backfield in Week 4, with C.J. Prosise on hand to work in a change-of-pace/complementary role.

  • Austin Ekeler RB | WAS

Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Will retain starting job Week 4

Ekeler is in line to start Sunday's game against the Dolphins, but his workload remains in flux with Melvin Gordon active for the contest, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

While Rapoport suggests that Gordon will be used only in an emergency after only putting in two practices with the Chargers this week following his return from a 64-day holdout, Eric D. Williams of ESPN.com suggests that Gordon should "still get touches." No matter what role Gordon holds in Week 4, the expectation is that it will be small, leaving Ekeler in line to handle the bulk of the backfield snaps. That's probably enough to make Ekeler a worthy play in nearly all weekly leagues, though his fantasy appeal will take a substantial hit in the contests to follow, as coach Anthony Lynn already declared that Gordon will reclaim lead-back duties once he has more time to get reintegrated with the team.

  • Myles Gaskin RB | SEA

Dolphins' Myles Gaskin: Healthy scratch again

Gaskin (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Ravens, Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

Gaskin hasn't yet suited up for a regular-season contest. He's operating as the No. 5 running back in Miami behind Kenyan Drake, Kalen Ballage, Mark Walton and Patrick Laird.

  • Damien Harris RB | BUF

    Patriots' Damien Harris: Inactive Sunday

Harris is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bills.

With James White (personal) back this week, the rookie is once again the odd man out on the Patriots' backfield. At this point, it will probably take an injury to either Sony Michel, Rex Burkhead or White for Harris to factor into the New England ground game.
