Cordarrelle Patterson RB | PIT
Falcons' Cordarrelle Patterson: Takes seat Thursday
Patterson (ankle) is listed as inactive Thursday against the Patriots, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Patterson sprained his ankle during Atlanta's Week 10 loss at Dallas and subsequently was limited in practice Monday through Wednesday. Considered a game-time call, he did go through a pregame warmup, but the team ultimately is choosing not to risk it with the breakout player. Patterson thus will yield the backfield to some combination of Mike Davis and Wayne Gallman in Week 11.

Elijah Mitchell RB | PHI
49ers' Elijah Mitchell: No practice yet this week
Mitchell (finger) didn't practice Thursday, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.
Mitchell carried the load for the 49ers during a Week 10 win against the Rams, churning out 91 yards on 27 carries. Afterward, it was revealed he suffered a broken finger on his right hand during that contest, which necessitated a procedure to fix it. Mitchell subsequently has been held out of drills this week as he recovers, instead wearing a blue non-contact jersey on a side field, according to Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News. No matter, coach Kyle Shanahan is of the belief Mitchell will be available Week 11 at Jacksonville. "I think he'll go Sunday," Shanahan told Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com on Wednesday. Friday's injury report ultimately will reveal Mitchell's potential to play this weekend, but with JaMycal Hasty (ankle) also hurt at the moment, Jeff Wilson, Trey Sermon and Trenton Cannon are the healthy options in the 49ers backfield.

Josh Jacobs RB | GB
Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Logs another limited practice
Jacobs (knee) remained limited at practice Thursday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
Friday's injury report will reveal whether Jacobs approaches Sunday's game against the Bengals with a Week 11 injury designation, but at this stage there's nothing to suggest that the Raiders' top back -- who has averaged 42.3 rushing yards, 21.3 receiving yards and scored five TDs through seven games to date -- will be sidelined this weekend.

Latavius Murray RB | BUF
Ravens' Latavius Murray: Another limited practice session
Murray (ankle) remained limited at practice Thursday.
After having logged back-to-back limited practices, Murray appears to have a decent chance to return to the Ravens backfield this weekend against the Bears. Unless he practices fully Friday, however, Murray figures to carry a Week 11 injury designation as the team's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff on Sunday approaches.

Damien Williams RB | ARI
Bears' Damien Williams: Back to full practice
Williams (knee) practiced in full Thursday.
After taking a seat in the Bears' last contest Week 9 at Pittsburgh as he tended to a knee injury, Williams came out of the team's bye week with practice limitations Wednesday. However, they vanished one day later, clearing him for game action Sunday versus the Ravens. With David Montgomery back in the fold against the Steelers and Khalil Herbert also on the case, Williams' eventual snap and touch counts remain up in the air.

Jonathan Williams RB | WAS
Jonathan Williams: Signed to Giants' practice squad
Williams was added to the Giants' practice squad Thursday, Dan Benton of USA Today reports.
The running back was released from Washington's practice squad Nov. 2, but he has now found a new opportunity in New York. Williams has yet be on an active roster this season and that will probably remain the case in his new locale, barring a rash of injuries.

Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Browns' Nick Chubb: Progressing, could play Week 11
Browns offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt said Thursday that Chubb (illness) is "trending in the right direction" toward being available to return from the reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of Sunday's game against the Lions, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Among the three Browns running backs that landed on the list last week, only John Kelly was reinstated Wednesday, but Chubb and Demetric Felton don't seem to be far behind. Because he's vaccinated, Chubb will be eligible to rejoin the Browns as soon as he's exhibiting diminished symptoms of the virus and tests negative on two occasions at least 24 hours apart, and Van Pelt's comments suggest the team's top back could be cleared as soon as Friday. Chubb's status for Sunday's game against the Lions would be dicier if he fails to return in time for Friday's practice, but even if he's activated by Saturday, he should be in good shape to lead Cleveland's ground attack in the team's Week 11 matchup.

Jamaal Williams RB | NO
Lions' Jamaal Williams: Remains limited in practice
Williams (thigh) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Williams hasn't completely moved past the thigh issue that has kept him out of action for the Lions' past two games, but the fact that he's opened Week 11 prep with consecutive limited practices is a positive sign with regard to his chances of playing Sunday in Cleveland. Before missing action with the injury, Williams had seen a solid amount of work as the Lions' No. 2 back behind D'Andre Swift (shoulder) averaging 12.4 touches per game through seven outings. Assuming both backs are able to shake off their respective injuries and suit up against the Browns, Williams may not immediately step back into as sizable of a role as he held previously, but he should at least see more work behind Swift than depth options Jermar Jefferson (ankle) and Godwin Igwebuike did in the previous two contests.

D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
Lions' D'Andre Swift: Remains limited in practice
Swift (shoulder) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Though Swift's shoulder injury has now capped his reps in consecutive practices, the Lions haven't hinted that the issue will prevent the running back from suiting up Sunday in Cleveland. Swift took advantage of No. 2 back Jamaal Williams' (thigh) absence in last week's 16-16 tie with the Steelers to handle a season-high 36 touches (33 carries, three receptions) on a season-high 93 percent snap share, but look for Swift to take a step back in both areas Week 11 in Cleveland. Like Swift, Williams practiced on a limited basis for the second day in a row Thursday and appears to be on a path to play against the Browns.

Qadree Ollison RB | PIT
Falcons' Qadree Ollison: Elevated as COVID-19 replacement
Ollison was elevated from Atlanta's practice squad as a COVID-19 replacement for Josh Andrews on Thursday, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Whether Ollison suits up for Thursday's game against the Patriots will likely depend on the status of Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle), who is viewed as a game-time decision. Even if Patterson sits, Ollison's role would likely be limited with Mike Davis and Wayne Gallman both ahead of him on the running back depth chart.
