Nate McCrary RB | GB
Ravens' Nate McCrary: Signs new contract with Ravens
The Ravens signed McCrary to a reserve/contract Tuesday.
The running back was active for one game with the Ravens in 2021, but he will be back with the team for the 2022 season. McCrary appeared in the Ravens' Week 13 game against the Steelers, rushing once for a loss of a yard. He finished the season on the practice squad injured list with an undisclosed injury but appears healthy heading into the offseason.

Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Packers' Aaron Jones: Opens week with full practice
Jones (knee) practiced fully Tuesday.
Typically, Jones has had some sort of limitation for the first practice of the week ever since he hurt his knee in Week 10. With the benefit of the Packers' first-round bye, though, he was able to handle every rep during Tuesday's session. Jones and AJ Dillon both seem 100 percent as the team prepares for Saturday's divisional-round game against the 49ers.

Raheem Mostert RB | LV
49ers' Raheem Mostert: Comes off COVID-19 list
Mostert (knee) was shifted from the reserve/COVID-19 list to injured reserve Tuesday.
Since getting hurt in Week 1, Mostert underwent an October procedure to address chipped cartilage in his left knee, was cleared to walk without crutches Dec. 12 and then spent much of January on the COVID-19 list. There's no chance the seven-year pro returns from IR this season, but he appears as if he'll be healthy at some point between the end of the 49ers' season (whenever that may be) and the offseason program. In the meantime, rookie sixth-rounder Elijah Mitchell will continue to lead the backfield.

Derrick Henry RB | BAL
Titans' Derrick Henry: Practicing, taking contact
Henry (foot) is practicing Tuesday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
He's in pads, taking contact and appears to be running full speed, but that doesn't necessarily make him a lock for Saturday's game against Cincinnati, with coach Mike Vrabel cautioning earlier Tuesday that the Titans would need to see Henry practice throughout the week before making a decision. Given that he's still on IR, albeit with a designation to return, Henry won't be listed on the daily practice reports. He last played Week 8, shortly before undergoing foot surgery at the start of November,

Kene Nwangwu RB | NYJ
Vikings' Kene Nwangwu: One touch in season finale
Nwangwu ran one time for four yards during Week 18's 31-17 win over the Bears.
With Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison demanding the majority of touches, Nwangwu struggled to find consistent work out of Minnesota's backfield. He finished the 2021 campaign with 13 rushes for 61 yards and four catches for nine yards. However, he did make a big impact on special teams and was the only player in the NFL this season to record multiple kick returns for touchdowns. The Vikings have Cook, Mattison and Nwangwu all under contract for 2022, so barring drastic change, their backfield is expected to look the same next year.

Chase Edmonds RB | WAS
Cardinals' Chase Edmonds: Quiet end to campaign
Edmonds rushed eight times for 28 yards and failed to catch his only target in Monday night's 34-11 wild-card round loss to the Rams.
Edmonds played despite dealing with rib and toe injuries recently, alternating time with fellow banged-up tailback James Conner (ribs) and Eno Benjamin. Although Edmonds led the team in rushes and yards on the ground, his totals were nothing special, and it was Conner who scored Arizona's lone touchdown with a two-yard rush during the third quarter. Despite missing five games, Edmonds was a strong complement to Conner during the regular season, posting career highs in carries (116) and rushing yards (592) while scoring twice. He also caught 43 of 53 targets for 311 yards. After that uptick in production, the 2018 fourth-rounder is slated to enter free agency this offseason, making it unclear whether his career will continue with the Cardinals or not.

Cam Akers RB | SEA
Rams' Cam Akers: Approaches 100 scrimmage yards
Akers rushed 17 times for 55 yards in Monday night's 34-11 wild-card round win over the Cardinals. He also caught one of two targets for 40 yards.
Akers entered the game behind Sony Michel but went on to lead the Rams in carries, adding some elusiveness to Michel's power-based style. Although he wasn't particularly efficient with his rushes overall, Akers made a big play in the passing game, hauling in a trick-play throw from wideout Odell Beckham during the second half. With nearly 20 touches and 100 scrimmage yards in just his second game back from an Achilles injury, Akers' importance is growing ahead of Sunday's NFC divisional-round matchup versus the Buccaneers.

James Conner RB | ARI
Cardinals' James Conner: Scores in season-ending defeat
Conner rushed four times for 19 yards and a touchdown in Monday night's 34-11 wild-card round loss to the Rams. He also caught one of two targets for five yards.
Conner had his snaps limited while battling through a rib injury, with the game flow of Monday's blowout also restricting his involvement as a runner. As usual, though, the tailback managed to find the end zone, scoring from two yards to finally get Arizona on the board in the third quarter. After inking a one-year deal with the Cardinals last offseason, Conner went on to finish third league-wide in touchdowns despite playing just 15 games, with 15 of his 18 scores coming on the ground. He rounded out his production with 202 carries for 752 yards and 37 catches on 39 targets for 375 more yards. Given that fantastic production, the 26-year-old is bound to garner more significant interest as he reenters free agency this spring, but with many other key offensive contributors on expiring contracts, it's unclear whether the Cardinals will bring Conner back.

Kenjon Barner RB | TB
Kenjon Barner: Lands back on practice squad
Barner reverted to the Buccaneers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
With both Leonard Fournette (hamstring) and Ronald Jones (ankle) out for Sunday's wild-card round win over Philadelphia, Barner was elevated to provide depth in the backfield. Even in the blowout win, Barner did not record any stats.

Darwin Thompson RB | LV
Darwin Thompson: Reverts to practice squad
Thompson reverted to the Chiefs' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Thompson was elevated from the practice squad prior to Sunday's wild-card round win over the Steelers. However, after Darrel Williams (toe) was cleared to take the field, Thompson was inactive for the contest. So long as no further injuries pop up in the Chiefs' backfield, Thompson figures to remain on the practice squad for the rest of the postseason.
