Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Packers' Aaron Jones: Picks up ankle injury Sunday
Jones injured his ankle during the second half of Sunday's contest in Detroit.
Shortly before the Packers scored for the first time Sunday, Jones was seen jogging to the locker room, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, and termed questionable to return due to an ankle issue. If Jones is forced from the contest, AJ Dillon and 2021 seventh-round pick Kylin Hill will be Green Bay's remaining healthy running backs.

Cam Akers RB | SEA
Rams' Cam Akers: Returns to action Sunday
Akers (personal) is listed as active Sunday at Tampa Bay, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Making his first appearance since Week 5, Akers will put an end to a two-game absence after he and the Rams seemingly resolved their differences during preparations for Week 9. His role in the offense is far from known, though, as all of Darrell Henderson, Malcolm Brown and practice squad call-up Ronnie Rivers also are available to L.A.'s backfield. Akers will be looking to improve upon his yards-per-carry mark of 3.0, which is possible against the Buccaneers' 24th-ranked run defense (132.4 yards per game).

Craig Reynolds RB | NE
Lions' Craig Reynolds: Downgraded to out
Reynolds (ribs) was ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Packers.
Reynolds will not be able to return after being forced out with a rib injury in the first half against Green Bay. The 26-year-old played a minor role in Detroit's offense over the first seven games, and his next chance to suit up will come versus the Bears on Sunday, Nov. 13.

Eno Benjamin RB | NO
Cardinals' Eno Benjamin: Rejoined by Conner in backfield
Benjamin is welcoming back James Conner (ribs) to the Cardinals backfield for Sunday's contest against the Seahawks, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Benjamin has been operating as Arizona's lead runner during Conner's three-game absence, racking up 223 yards from scrimmage and one rushing TD on 47 touches. With Conner available Sunday, though, coach Kliff Kingsbury may resort to a timeshare of sorts between Conner and Benjamin as the former gets up to speed. Still, Benjamin seems destined for a decent number of looks considering how he's produced of late.

James Conner RB | ARI
Cardinals' James Conner: Back in action Sunday
Conner (ribs) is active for Sunday's game versus the Seahawks.
The Cardinals are welcoming back Conner for the first time since Week 5, when he suffered a rib injury that forced three consecutive absences. He was limited in practice for the entirety of Week 9 prep, and his availability Sunday was contingent on a pregame warmup, so there's a chance he operates in a timeshare with Eno Benjamin and, to a lesser extent, rookie sixth-round pick Keaontay Ingram in his return to action. On the season, Conner has averaged 3.7 yards on his 54 carries, hauled in 14 of 19 targets and scored one rushing touchdown in parts of five games.

Craig Reynolds RB | NE
Lions' Craig Reynolds: Questionable to return
Reynolds is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Packers with a rib injury.
Reynolds did not record a carry before exiting in the first half against Green Bay, though the nature and severity of this issue are still unknown. The 26-year-old rushed 23 times for 102 yards and caught nine passes (on 10 targets) for 116 yards as the Lions' third-string running back over the first seven games of the season. With Reynolds sidelined, expect Justin Jackson to take on a larger role behind D'Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams in this contest.
-
Chris Evans RB | CIN
Bengals' Chris Evans: Suffers injury Sunday
Evans was ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Panthers with a right knee injury.
Evans appears to have sustained a significant injury at some point during the first half of this contest, though the exact nature of this issue is still unclear. The second-year running back has yet to record a rush in 2022, though he's served as the Bengals' primary kick returner this season. With Evans out, Trent Taylor should be next in line to handle kickoffs for Cincinnati. The running back's next opportunity to play will come Nov. 20 against the Steelers.

James Conner RB | ARI
Cardinals' James Conner: Expected to play
Conner (ribs), officially listed as questionable, is expected to play Sunday against Seattle, Fox's Jay Glazer reports.
Earlier reports suggested that the Cardinals plan to test Conner during pre-game warmups before determining his availability, but Glazer's report is more optimistic. Either way, there's still some uncertainty about Conner's status that won't be resolved until Arizona's inactives are posted ahead of the team's 4:05 ET kickoff. Eno Benjamin and Keaontay Ingram are on hand to log added snaps Sunday if Conner experiences any setbacks in warmups or in-game (if active).

Cordarrelle Patterson RB | PIT
Falcons' Cordarrelle Patterson: Likely to be eased in
Patterson (knee), who was activated from injured reserve Saturday, is expected to be eased back in with a more limited workload than usual in Sunday's game against the Chargers, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Patterson missed the minimum four games while on IR after he underwent a left knee cleanup procedure in early October, but the Falcons aren't eager to have him take on his normal workload in his return to action with only three practices under his belt beforehand. Garafolo notes that the fact that the Falcons travel to Carolina for a Thursday night game in Week 10 is a factor in the team's intentions of limiting Patterson, who could find himself part of a three-man backfield committee with Tyler Allgeier and Caleb Huntley. With that in mind, none of the three would appear to be high-percentage fantasy plays for Week 9.

Deon Jackson RB | DET
Colts' Deon Jackson: In line to fill in for Taylor
With Jonathan Taylor (ankle) and newcomer Zack Moss inactive, per JJ Stankevitz of the Colts' official site, Jackson is line for an expanded role Sunday against the Patriots.
The Colts' Week 9 backfield will also include practice squad elevations Phillip Lindsay and Jordan Wilkins, but in Taylor's absence, Jackson should lead the team's ground game Sunday. In that context, Jackson qualifies as a fantasy lineup option for those needing a replacement for Taylor or who are looking for some added short-term running back depth with six NFL teams currently on bye.
