Jeff Wilson RB | MIA
Dolphins' Jeff Wilson: Clear path to lead role Week 12
Wilson is expected to serve as the Dolphins' clear lead back Sunday against the Texans with Raheem Mostert (knee) listed as doubtful for the game, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
Since being acquired from the 49ers on Nov. 1, Wilson already appeared to have supplanted Mostert as the Dolphins' No. 1 back. In the two games following his acquisition, Wilson has outsnapped Mostert by a 67-43 margin and has out-touched him 31-21. Miami has Salvon Ahmed and Myles Gaskin to fill Mostert's role, but at least as long as Sunday's game against the 1-8-1 Texans remains competitive, expect the Dolphins to rely more heavily on Wilson than usual. The 27-year-old has quickly proven to be a seamless fit in head coach Mike McDaniel's wide zone offense, averaging 6.5 yards on 26 carries while finding paydirt once as a runner and once as a receiver.

Jaylen Warren RB | PIT
Steelers' Jaylen Warren: Sits out another practice
Warren (hamstring) remained sidelined at practice Friday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Though head coach Mike Tomlin said Warren's hamstring injury is "not a significant" one, the running back has now missed two straight practices. If Warren ends up out or limited Monday against the Colts, Benny Snell would be in line to handle complementary work behind Pittsburgh's top running back, Najee Harris.

Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Packers' Aaron Jones: Ready to roll
Jones (shin/glute) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Jones has been dealing with a lower leg injury since Week 9 and was also listed with a glute issue this week, but there was never any indication of his availability for Sunday's game being in doubt. He'll continue to lead the Green Bay backfield ahead of AJ Dillon, though both tend to get a good amount of carries and their cumulative fantasy production has decreased this season with the Packers no longer among the NFC heavyweights.

Raheem Mostert RB | LV
Dolphins' Raheem Mostert: Unlikely to play Week 12
Mostert (knee) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Texans after practicing in a limited fashion Friday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Mostert, who didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, is thus trending toward being ruled inactive ahead of Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff. Earlier Friday, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel told Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post that he was "unwilling to bet against" Mostert suiting up Sunday, but the Dolphins are unlikely to take any chances with the banged-up running back while they face off against a 1-8-1 Texans squad that will enter the weekend as heavy road underdogs. If Mostert is sidelined as anticipated, the Dolphins would turn to Salvon Ahmed and Myles Gaskin to handle complementary work behind Jeff Wilson, who profiles as the clear lead option sans Mostert.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: No injury designation
Kamara (illness) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at San Francisco.
The Saints listed Kamara as a full participant Friday after he missed practice Thursday, though multiple reporters said the running back left Friday's session early. Regardless, head coach Dennis Allen doesn't expect the illness to affect Kamara on Sunday, with the Saints apparently confident enough to leave their lead runner off the final injury report. Meanwhile, top backup Mark Ingram, who missed the past three games with a knee injury, is listed as questionable.

Marlon Mack RB | ARI
Broncos' Marlon Mack: Should have role in Denver debut
Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett said Friday that Mack will have a role in the game plan in Sunday's matchup with the Panthers, Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com reports. "He's going to have to go in there and take advantage of this opportunity...he's got a little extra burst," Hackett said of Mack.
Denver signed Mack off San Francisco's practice squad Oct. 24, but the veteran running back has been a healthy inactive for each of the Broncos' subsequent three contests. However, with the Broncos waiving Melvin Gordon and placing Chase Edmonds (ankle) on injured reserve in recent days, Mack looks set to operate as the primary backup to starter Latavius Murray in Week 12. Though Murray projects to see most of the touches out of the backfield, he's averaging just 3.3 yards per carry through five games with Denver, so his grasp on the lead role would appear to be weak. With that in mind, Mack could have the chance to displace Murray atop the depth chart if he takes advantage of the opportunities he receives Sunday. However, both Murray and Mack could be challenged for work as soon as Week 13, when Mike Boone (ankle) is eligible to return from IR.

Latavius Murray RB | BUF
Broncos' Latavius Murray: No designation for Sunday
Murray (wrist) won't take an injury designation into Sunday's game at Carolina, Aric Di Lalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
After being listed as a limited participant at practices Wednesday and Thursday, Murray cleared out any concern about his availability for this weekend by practicing fully Friday. With Denver waiving Melvin Gordon and with Chase Edmonds (ankle) moving to injured reserve earlier this week, Murray should be in store for the lead role out of the backfield against the Panthers, though the 3-7 Broncos also aren't likely to be overly committed to a 32-year-old journeyman back on an expiring deal. Though Murray has scored three touchdowns in five games since joining Denver, he's averaging a lowly 3.3 yards per carry and 4.3 yards per target. Marlon Mack should make his Denver debut Sunday and could cut into Murray's workload if he impresses early on, but Mike Boone (ankle) -- who is on injured reserve but could be activated as soon as Week 13 -- might be the best bet of the trio to finish the season as Denver's lead back.

Devine Ozigbo RB | DET
Devine Ozigbo: Will be elevated for Week 12
Coach Nathaniel Hackett confirmed Friday that Denver intends to elevate Ozigbo from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's game against the Panthers, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Ozigbo will join Latavius Murray and Marlon Mack in a new-look Denver backfield that's without Chase Edmonds (ankle) and the recently waived Melvin Gordon. Murray is expected to see the majority of playing time, though the 26-year-old Ozigbo will offer some fresh legs in addition to contributing on special teams.

Rachaad White RB | WAS
Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Lead role awaits Week 12
White is expected to serve as Tampa Bay's lead running back Sunday against the Browns with Leonard Fournette (hip) listed as doubtful for the contest, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Even if Fournette hadn't exited in the second half of the Buccaneers' last game Week 10 against the Seahawks in Munich due to the hip pointer, White may have pushed his way into at least a timeshare with the veteran back based on how he performed in Germany. White took a career-high 22 carries for 105 yards in the win over Seattle, and he now looks poised to get another chance to see a high-volume role out of the backfield with Fournette unlikely to be available in anything more than a limited capacity if he's active Sunday. Beyond White, the Buccaneers have Ke'Shawn Vaughn on hand to serve as a substitute, while Giovani Bernard (ankle) could be reinstated from injured reserve to serve as an option on passing downs. Even though he didn't draw a target in Munich, White displayed some prowess as a pass catcher in Weeks 4 through 9, when he turned in an 18-128-0 receiving line on 21 targets over a six-game stretch.

Gus Edwards RB | LAC
Ravens' Gus Edwards: Questionable, but should play
The Ravens list Edwards (hamstring/knee) as questionable for Sunday's game in Jacksonville.
Even though Edwards carries a designation into the weekend, he looks to be on track to put an end to his two-game absence Sunday. After opening the week as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Edwards upgraded to full activity on Thursday and Friday. According to Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun, head coach John Harbaugh acknowledged prior to Friday's session that he's hopeful Edwards will suit up this weekend, though the running back's status won't be officially clarified until the Ravens release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff. If Edwards is cleared to play against the Jaguars, he should settle back in as the Ravens' lead option on the ground.
