Jeff Wilson RB | MIA
Dolphins' Jeff Wilson: Avoids worst-case scenario
Coach Mike McDaniel said Monday that Wilson (hip) is day-to-day, and the test results "are more positive than the worst-case scenario," Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
Wilson left in the second quarter of the Dolphins' Sunday night loss to the Chargers with a hip injury and was ruled out at halftime. While the coach's comment is somewhat optimistic, Wilson's status for Week 15 remains unclear, and his potential availability likely won't be known until later in the week. If Wilson has to miss any time, Raheem Mostert figures to be the primary beneficiary in Miami's backfield, with Salvon Ahmed and Myles Gaskin the other RBs on the active roster.

Damien Williams RB | ARI
Damien Williams: Waived from IR
The Falcons waived Williams (ribs) from injured reserve Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Williams rushed twice for two yards across 10 snaps during the season opener before suffering a rib injury. He was placed on injured reseve the following Saturday after not practicing at all during Week 2 prep. He's been on the reserve list since then, but Schefter relayed that the veteran running back is 100 percent healthy and looking to make an impact for a new team. Coming into the campaign, Williams had recorded 1,394 yards from scrimmage and 16 total touchdowns over his past three seasons (two with Kansas City and one with Chicago), by far the best stretch of his eight-year career.

Matt Breida RB | SF
Giants' Matt Breida: Does little with extra opportunity
Breida carried the ball three times for six yards and caught two of four targets for nine yards in Sunday's Week 14 loss to the Eagles.
Breida actually led New York running backs with a season-high 23 offensive snaps Sunday, finishing just ahead of Gary Brightwell (21) and Saquon Barkley (20). Barkley's reduced playing time was the result of both a neck injury and a lopsided score, but it's telling that Brightwell logged such a high snap count after being limited to special-teams work the previous week. Brightwell also significantly outperformed Breida against Philadelphia, totaling 41 yards to Breida's 15. It's wise to monitor New York's injury report throughout the week to get an idea of Barkley's availability and potential limitations, but even if the No. 1 back is held out Week 15, ball-carrying work could be divided fairly evenly between Breida and Brightwell.

JaMycal Hasty RB | NE
Jaguars' JaMycal Hasty: Four carries Week 13
Hasty rushed four times for 13 yards during Sunday's 36-22 win over the Titans.
Hasty once again operated as Jacksonville's No. 2 tailback and played 25 percent of the offensive snaps. The 26-year-old is secure in his role as workhorse Travis Etienne's top backup after Darrell Henderson was waived Friday.

Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ
Bears' Khalil Herbert: Could be back Week 16
Herbert (hip) is expected to return to practice prior to Chicago's Week 16 game against the Bills, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Herbert will need to be designated for return from injured reserve, at which point he'll be able to practice. If he looks healthy in drills, Herbert could then retake the field versus Buffalo. Prior to getting hurt, Herbert had been working in a backfield committee with David Montgomery.

Alexander Mattison RB | MIA
Vikings' Alexander Mattison: Just two carries in loss
Mattison lost a yard on two carries in Sunday's loss at Detroit.
Mattison played just nine snaps on offense and was not targeted in the passing game as he had a minimal role with the Vikings falling behind early and needing to pass. Mattison continues to operate strictly as the backup to Dalvin Cook. Though Mattison is capable of making big plays, he has earned fewer than three carries in six consecutive games.

Jaylen Warren RB | PIT
Steelers' Jaylen Warren: Records five touches against Ravens
Warren rushed three times for 11 yards while securing two of three targets for 16 yards during the Steelers' 16-14 loss to Baltimore on Sunday.
Warren racked up 19 yards in his return to action last week, but he was slightly more involved during Pittsburgh's narrow loss Sunday. In his three games since racking up at least 75 yards in back-to-back appearances, the undrafted rookie has rushed four times for 16 yards while securing five of six targets for 39 yards.
-
Raheem Blackshear RB | NYJ
Panthers' Raheem Blackshear: Scores in win
Blackshear rushed four times for 32 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Seahawks. He also caught his only target for 17 yards.
Blackshear made a big impact from his third-string role, helping seal the game with an eight-yard touchdown run during the fourth quarter. With D'Onta Foreman and Chuba Hubbard ahead of him, Blackshear's opportunities should remain limited going forward, but his efficiency Sunday could keep him involved with spare snaps in Week 15 versus the Steelers.

Dare Ogunbowale RB | HOU
Texans' Dare Ogunbowale: Three touches in loss
Ogunbowale had one carry for minus-3 yards and caught both of his targets for four yards in Sunday's 27-23 loss to the Cowboys.
Ogunbowale saw 18 snaps, the most of any back not named Dameon Pierce, who left late in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury. After the rookie starter exited, the coaching staff went with Rex Burkhead over Ogunbowale or Eno Benjamin, but if Pierce is unable to play in Week 15 against Kansas City, all three RBs would be in line for more playing time.
-
Eno Benjamin RB | NO
Texans' Eno Benjamin: Gets first touches with Houston
Benjamin had three carries for one yard in Sunday's 27-23 loss to Dallas.
Benjamin, playing in his second game for Houston, was on the field for eight snaps and had his first touches since he was claimed from the Cardinals. Dameon Pierce left the game late with an ankle injury, and while the team used Rex Burkhead to replace Pierce on Sunday, they could turn to Benjamin or Dare Ogunbowale if the rookie starter isn't able to go in Week 15 against Kansas City.
