  • Cam Akers RB | SEA

Rams' Cam Akers: Finishes with 90 total yards Monday

Akers rushed 12 times for 65 yards and brought in all three targets for 35 yards in the Rams' 24-12 loss to the Packers on Monday night.

Akers was about the only bright spot for the Rams' mostly moribund offense, with the third-year back making an impact from his team's very first play. Akers ripped off a 15-yard gain on that initial carry, and he was also responsible for 23 total yards on Los Angeles' third possession, which culminated in the team's first points of the game, a 33-yard Matt Gay field goal. Akers ultimately finished with team highs in both rushing and receiving yards in a game where he saw multiple targets for only the second time all season, and he'll head into a Week 16 home matchup against the Broncos on Christmas Day with a trio of tallies of at least 60 rushing yards in the last five contests.

  • AJ Dillon RB | CAR

Packers' AJ Dillon: Possibly concussed after two TDs

Dillon is being evaluated for a concussion Monday against the Rams.

Dillon's return can be considered questionable at this time. Prior to getting injured, he rushed 11 times for 36 yards and two touchdowns while catching all three of his targets for 35 yards. Aaron Jones should lead Green Bay's backfield for the remainder of Monday's game.

  • Eagles' Kenneth Gainwell: Five touches in Week 15 win

Gainwell rushed three times for five yards and caught two passes for nine yards in Sunday's win over the Bears.

Gainwell didn't have a particularly notable game, though it was at least a step up from his one-touch, zero-yard performance the previous week. More significantly, he saw the field for 29 offensive snaps compared to just four for No. 3 running back Boston Scott. Should the Eagles clinch the top seed in the NFC next week, they may elect to rest their starters, with Gainwell seemingly in line to benefit.

  • Boston Scott RB | PIT

Eagles' Boston Scott: Barely sees field

Scott did not receive a touch in Sunday's win over the Bears.

Scott recorded a season-high seven touches in each of the previous two weeks, but he saw the field for just four offensive snaps this time around. He did at least make some impact on the game, as his 58-yard kickoff return to open the second half led to a quick touchdown. Fellow depth running back Kenneth Gainwell was on the field for 29 offensive snaps, which means he's probably the guy to get for those speculating that Miles Sanders could be rested Week 18.

  • Hassan Haskins RB | LAC

Titans' Hassan Haskins: Three touches in loss to Chargers

Haskins recorded one rush for eight yards in Sunday's 17-14 loss to the Chargers. He added two receptions on two targets for seven yards.

Haskins operated as the backup to Derrick Henry with Dontrell Hilliard (neck) out for the rest of the regular season. He earned only one rush attempt and saw both of his targets with the team in obvious passing situations. Henry will continue to operate as the clear workhorse back, though Haskins has emerged as his primary backup.

  • Devine Ozigbo RB | DET

Devine Ozigbo: Bumps back down to practice squad

Ozigbo reverted to Denver's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Ozigbo was elevated from the practice squad for the third time this season to help fill in for the Broncos' depleted running backs corps Sunday versus Arizona. The 26-year-old still played just five of his 18 snaps on offense during this win, logging two carries for two yards. Ozigbo has now logged four touches for seven yards across four games this season, though he'll need to be re-added to the active roster to suit up again for Denver this season.

  • Zonovan Knight RB | ARI

Jets' Zonovan Knight: Not listed on injury report

Knight (ankle) isn't listed on the Jets' injury report ahead of Thursday night's game against the Jaguars, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site previously relayed that Knight came out of Week 15 action with an ankle issue, but Knight didn't appear on the team's practice/injury report following Monday's walkthrough. Based on that, Knight is on track to suit up for Thursday's contest and thus in line to continue to lead New York's backfield Week 16, with Michael Carter mixing in.

  • Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ

Bears' Khalil Herbert: Expected back in Week 16

Herbert (hip) is expected to return to practice this week and is on track to be activated from IR ahead of Saturday's game against the Bills, Larry Mayer of the Bears' official site reports.

"He is cleared, ready to go," coach Matt Eberflus said Monday of the running back, who last suited up for game action Nov. 13. "Like we said last week, he's got all his jumps, his speed. He's been cutting, he's been moving. He looks great. We're excited about his return." Prior to injuring his hip, Herbert logged 108 carries for 643 yards and four TDs, while adding six catches for 62 yards and a receiving score in 10 games. In his looming return to action, the 2021 sixth-rounder is set to rejoin a backfield timeshare with David Montgomery, a context that gives Herbert some fantasy utility down the stretch.

  • Jeff Wilson RB | MIA

    Dolphins' Jeff Wilson: Deemed day-to-day

Head coach Mike McDaniel said Monday that Wilson (hip) was close to playing Saturday against Buffalo and is considered day-to-day moving forward, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.

Wilson missed his first game of the season Week 15 due to a hip injury he suffered against the Chargers in Week 14, but it appears the running back will have a good chance to suit up against the Packers on Christmas Day. However, Miami's injury report during Week 16 prep figures to provide some clarity on Wilson's availability for that contest.

  • Packers' Patrick Taylor: Signed to active roster

The Packers signed Taylor from the practice squad to the active roster Monday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Taylor previously was on the active roster and made seven appearances before being waived at the end of November. He rejoined the team via a practice-squad deal and was elevated for three consecutive contests (Weeks 11-13). However, across his 10 total appearances, the running back has rushed just once for six yards across seven offensive snaps. He figures to garner a similar role as long as Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon are healthy. To make room for Taylor on the active roster, Green Bay waived Sammy Watkins on Monday.
