J.K. Dobbins RB | DEN
Ravens' J.K. Dobbins: No practice for maintenance
Dobbins (rest/knee) didn't practice Tuesday.
The decision to list him as 'rest/knee' suggests this is just about maintenance for Dobbins, who has stepped back in as the team's lead runner with back-to-back 100-yard games following his activation from injured reserve. His workloads have been modest, however -- 28 carries total while playing less than half the snaps in both games. It remains to be seen if his workload will grow as the Ravens fight for playoff position the next few weeks. Either way, he should be fine for Saturday's matchup with Atlanta.

Zamir White RB | LV
Raiders' Zamir White: Sits out practice with ankle injury
White was listed as a non-participant on Tuesday's estimated practice report due to an ankle injury.
White played only eight total snaps in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Patriots, but his inclusion on the Raiders' first Week 16 injury report suggests he got hurt at some point during his limited time on the field. Even if White moves past the injury ahead of Saturday's game at Pittsburgh, he'll be in store for only a small role behind lead back Josh Jacobs.

Justice Hill RB | BAL
Ravens' Justice Hill: Remains uninvolved in loss
Hill rushed once for three yards and caught his lone target for 15 yards in Saturday's 13-3 loss to the Browns.
Hill, who received 24 offensive snaps this past weekend in Cleveland, saw the same amount of plays as fellow running back J.K. Dobbins (24) and also out-snapped Gus Edwards (11). The 25-year-old Hill will likely continue splitting backfield reps when Baltimore hosts the Falcons on Saturday.

Najee Harris RB | LAC
Steelers' Najee Harris: Starts week listed as LP
Harris (hip) is listed as a limited participant on Tuesday's estimated practice report, Dale Lolley of the Steelers' official site reports.
The Steelers didn't actually practice but should get out on the field Wednesday and Thursday ahead of Saturday's matchup with the Raiders. Harris was listed with a hip injury last week and ended up taking 24 carries for 86 yards and a TD in a 24-16 win over Carolina, though he did cede 12 touches and 34 percent of offensive snaps to Jaylen Warren.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB | KC
Chiefs' Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Won't return Week 16
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Tuesday that Edwards-Helaire (ankle) won't be activated from injured reserve ahead of Saturday's game against the Seahawks, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports. "He's getting close. He's not quite there yet, but he is getting close," Reid said of Edwards-Helaire. "He's working his tail off, but we'll see. He won't be out there this week."
Edwards-Helaire was placed on IR in mid-November and is now eligible to return to the 53-man roster after missing the requisite four games, but the running back apparently hasn't progressed enough in his recovery from the high-ankle sprain to make it back for Week 16. Until the Chiefs designate him for return from IR -- which would open up a 21-day window wherein he can be evaluated during practice -- Edwards-Helaire's return to the lineup shouldn't be viewed as imminent. Even if Edwards-Helaire is able to make it back for Week 17 or Week 18, he may find himself third in the backfield pecking order behind Isiah Pacheco and Jerick McKinnon. Pacheco has averaged a respectable 4.5 yards per carry as the Chiefs' lead option on the ground during Edwards-Helaire's four-game absence, and McKinnon has accounted for five touchdowns and has averaged 5.2 yards per carry and 8.7 yards per target over that same stretch while serving as a change-of-pace option.

Kenneth Walker III RB | KC
Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: No practice Tuesday
Coach Pete Carroll said Walker (ankle) won't participate in Tuesday's practice, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Walker sat out Week 14 due to a right ankle injury, but he was able to play last Thursday against the 49ers after following an LP/FP/FP practice regimen. He ended up playing a typical 75 percent of snaps and notched 16 touches for 79 yards from scrimmage, but with the Seahawks embarking on Week 16 prep Tuesday, he'll kick it off with no activity. Carroll ominously said, "We'll see," when it comes to Walker this week, so his status will be one to watch as Saturday's game at Kansas City approaches.

Christian McCaffrey RB | SF
49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Set for limited practice
McCaffrey (knee) will be a limited practice participant Tuesday, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Coming out of their Week 15 win over the Seahawks on Thursday, the 49ers haven't indicated that McCaffrey suffered any setbacks with the knee issue that first cropped up in Week 12, so the running back's limitations to begin this week's prep are most likely a matter of maintenance. In the three games since the injury surfaced, McCaffrey has played more than two-thirds of the snaps on offense while averaging 19 carries and seven targets per contest. Another heavy snap and touch count should await McCaffrey in Saturday's game against the Commanders.

Samaje Perine RB | CIN
Bengals' Samaje Perine: Eight touches in win
Perine had seven carries for 24 yards and one reception for no gain in Sunday's 34-23 win over the Buccaneers.
In Joe Mixon's second game back from a two-game absence due to a concussion, Perine saw 38 percent of Cincinnati's offensive snaps compared to the latter's 64 percent. Perine ultimately received half as many touches compared to his backfield mate. This week, New England's stout run defense doesn't provide a particularly appetizing matchup in Week 16.

Jonathan Taylor RB | IND
Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Going to injured reserve
The Colts placed Taylor (ankle) on injured reserve Tuesday, JJ Stankevitz of the team's official site reports.
This comes as no surprise after Taylor suffered a high-ankle sprain during Saturday's 39-36 loss at Minnesota. He's been tending to issues with his right ankle all season, and with three absences to come down the stretch, he'll end up missing six contests overall. In his 11 games of work, though, Taylor racked up 192 carries for 861 yards and four touchdowns and 28 catches (on 40 targets) for 143 yards. Moving forward, Indianapolis will turn to the backfield duo of Zack Moss and Deon Jackson to continue churning out production on the ground.

AJ Dillon RB | CAR
Packers' AJ Dillon: Avoids concussion protocol
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said after Monday's 24-12 win over the Rams that Dillon cleared the concussion protocol, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
Prior to his departure in the second half of the Week 15 contest, Dillon scored two rushing touchdowns and hauled in all three targets for 35 yards, but he otherwise wasn't very efficient on the ground (11 carries for 36 yards). Meanwhile, Aaron Jones was again productive with 21 touches for 126 yards from scrimmage and a receiving touchdown. With Dillon's health not an issue moving forward, the Packers will have their usual backfield duo available for Sunday's visit to Miami.
