Jacoby Brissett QB | ARI
Browns' Jacoby Brissett: Enters for one failed snap
Brissett went 0-for-1 on his lone play of the game in Sunday's 23-10 loss to the Bengals.
Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski, who has designed many productive opening drives in 2022, is getting second-guessed by the Monday morning quarterbacks after this loss. On Sunday's opening drive, the coach replaced Deshaun Watson (3-for-3, 34 yards at the time) with Brissett on fourth-and-1 at the Bengals' 25. Instead of a quarterback sneak, Brissett sailed a corner-route throw over Donovan Peoples-Jones. Instead of getting three points or letting his highly paid starting QB handle a crucial situation, Stefanski rolled the dice and it didn't pay off. Barring a Watson injury, Brissett will see a similar situational role for the rest of the season.

Tua Tagovailoa QB | ATL
Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa: Completes just 10 passes
Tagovailoa (ankle) completed 10 of 28 pass attempts for 145 yards and a touchdown while adding 28 yards on three rushing attempts in Sunday's 23-17 loss to the Chargers.
Tagovailoa turned in his worst performance of the season against a Chargers secondary that was without star safety Derwin James (quadriceps). The 24-year-old completed just 36 percent of his passes one week after completing a season-low 55 percent against the 49ers. Tagovailoa was cleared of the minor ankle injury he suffered in Week 13, but perhaps his putrid performance indicates that he wasn't at full strength. On a positive note, the southpaw was able to reincorporate the rushing aspect of his fantasy game after compiling zero rushing yards over his last four games. Tua and the Dolphins will look to rebound in a pivotal AFC East matchup against the Bills on Saturday.

Justin Herbert QB | LAC
Chargers' Justin Herbert: Sterling effort in win
Herbert completed 39 of his 51 pass attempts for 367 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-17 win over the Dolphins. He also ran four times for eight yards.
While fantasy managers may not be entirely thrilled with the performance, this was among one of the best games of Hebert's career. The 39 completions set a career high while the 367 passing yards were his fourth-most in a contest, but more importantly the third-year pro did it all while constantly maneuvering throughout the pocket, time and again stepping up, around and between pass rushers to create enough time to hit the open receiver. It's hard not to notice this type of outing coming with the trio of Mike Williams, Keenan Allen and Austin Ekeler all healthy -- the first time that's occurred since Week 1 -- and it's clear Herbert feels healthy himself after dealing with a severe rib injury since Week 5. Expect the offense to continue humming Week 15 against the Titans.

Anthony Brown QB | BUF
Ravens' Anthony Brown: Enters in relief
Brown completed three of five passes for 16 yards in Sunday's 16-14 win over the Steelers. He added three rushes for minus-five yards.
Brown entered the game midway through the third quarter after Tyler Huntley (concussion) was forced out. He failed to move the offense, and the Ravens were instead content to allow the Steelers to make mistakes to pave the path to victory. If Huntley is unable to return for a Week 15 matchup against the Browns, any pass catchers for the Ravens will be difficult to trust.
-
Davis Mills QB | HOU
Texans' Davis Mills: Manages game in loss to Dallas
Mills completed 16 of 21 pass attempts for 175 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 27-23 loss to the Cowboys.
Mills returned as Houston's starting quarterback after being benched for the last two games. He accounted for the majority of the team's pass attempts but did give way to Jeff Driskel on several occasions -- including for its lone passing touchdown of the game. Mills will presumably remain the Texans' starter moving forward, but it's fairly clear there is a lack of trust in him under center.

Mitch Trubisky QB | TEN
Steelers' Mitch Trubisky: Three picks in relief
Trubisky completed 22 of 30 passes for 276 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in Sunday's 16-14 loss to the Ravens.
Trubisky entered the game in relief of Kenny Pickett (concussion) late in the first quarter. While he put up plenty of yardage, Trubisky doomed the Steelers to a loss with an ugly three-interception performance -- two of which occurred deep in Baltimore territory. While Trubisky won't be fantasy relevant in most traditional formats, he could provide a boost to Diontae Johnson, George Pickens and Pat Freiermuth if Pickett is unable to return in time for a Week 15 matchup against the Panthers.

Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN
Titans' Ryan Tannehill: Tosses pair of touchdowns
Tannehill completed 25 of 38 passes for 254 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 36-22 loss to the Jaguars. He added two rushes for 16 yards.
Tannehill attempted a season-high 38 passes as the Titans were playing at a two-score deficit for much of the second half. He averaged only 6.7 yards per attempt and also had two costly turnovers -- he lost a fumble and threw an interception -- which led directly to 10 points for the Jaguars. Tannehill redeemed his fantasy performance with a pair of touchdown throws, which came from 10 and two yards away. He now has at least 250 yards or two scores in four of his five games since returning from an ankle injury.

Brock Purdy QB | SF
49ers' Brock Purdy: Bests Tom Brady in first NFL start
Purdy suffered an oblique injury in Sunday's 35-7 rout of the Buccaneers, but that was not the reason he was removed from the game during garbage time, according to Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area.
Purdy completed 16 of 21 passing attempts for 185 yards and three total touchdowns (two passing) before giving way to backup Josh Johnson for the 49ers' final drive. Head coach Kyle Shanahan announced that his starter suffered an oblique injury but that his removal in garbage time was due to the lopsided score. Shanahan added that Purdy will be evaluated Monday, but he did not rule out his quarterback being ready for Thursday's tilt against the Seahawks. Assuming the oblique injury isn't serious, the last pick in this year's draft could be in line for another nice fantasy outing against Seattle's questionable defense.

Brett Rypien QB | MIN
Broncos' Brett Rypien: Shaky in relief Sunday
Rypien completed four of eight passes for 16 yards and a touchdown with an interception after replacing Russell Wilson (concussion) late in Sunday's 34-28 loss to Kansas City.
Entering the game with about 12 minutes left in the fourth quarter and the ball at the Kansas City 16-yard line, Rypien wrapped up the drive with a seven-yard TD strike to Jerry Jeudy. It proved to be Denver's final points of the game, however, and Rypien's subsequent possessions featured a three-and-out in which he fumbled a snap but was able to recover it, and then an INT that effectively ended the game. If Wilson's concussion keeps him sidelined Week 15, Rypien would make his second start of the year against a Cardinals defense that was tied for last in the league in TD passes allowed coming into Week 14.

Trevor Lawrence QB | JAC
Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Posts career day
Lawrence completed 30 of 42 passes for 368 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 36-22 win over the Titans. He added three rushes for seven yards and an additional score.
Lawrence posted a career high in yards and total touchdowns while carving up the Tennessee defense. His three passing scores came from 12, 20 and 21 yards, and he completed seven total passes of at least 20 yards. In addition to the damage with his arm, Lawrence managed his fourth rushing score of the season midway through the third quarter on a one-yard scamper. Lawrence will face more difficult defensive tests in the coming weeks -- including matchups against the Cowboys and Jets -- but he has topped 300 yards and thrown for three scores in two of his last three games.
