Pickett won't return to Sunday's game against the Texans after suffering a left knee injury.

Before his exit, Pickett completed 15 of his 23 passing attempts for 114 yards and an interception while carrying twice for nine yards. Mitch Trubisky will take over at quarterback for the remainder of Sunday's contest and possibly beyond if Pickett's knee injury ends up being anything other than a minor issue.

Lance (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Patriots but is designated as the Cowboys' emergency quarterback, Todd Archer of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Lance has filled the emergency QB role in each of the Cowboys' first four games of the season. The third-year pro will only see action against New England if both Dak Prescott and backup Cooper Rush are forced to exit the game due to injury.

Ridder completed 19 of 31 passes for 191 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions and one lost fumble in Sunday's 23-7 loss to the Jaguars.

He also added six rushing yards on one carry. Ridder put on another lackluster performance, punctuated by a 61-yard pick-six thrown to Jacksonville's Darious Williams late in the second quarter, but the second-year quarterback did mange to hit Drake London for a 15-yard score on Atlanta's first possession of the second half. Ridder also got sacked four times, the third time in four games he's been brought down at least that many times. Ridder and the Falcons' offense will try to turn things around in Week 5 at home against the Texans.

Lawrence completed 23 of 30 passes for 207 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-7 win over the Falcons. He also rushed eight times for 42 yards.

Lawrence opened the scoring by finding Calvin Ridley for a 30-yard touchdown during the first quarter. Most of his completions went to Christian Kirk or Evan Engram, though, as that duo combined for 15 receptions on 20 targets. Although Lawrence didn't seem to see Kirk on a couple open routes into the end zone, he at least compensated with some production as a runner and had a game-long run of 22 yards. With no turnovers, either, it was a solid display to earn a victory ahead of a Week 5 showdown against Josh Allen and the Bills in London.

Ehlinger (shoulder) is inactive Sunday against the Rams.

Ehlinger, despite the injury and being considered inactive, will still suit up as the team's emergency option at quarterback. However, for him to see the field, Anthony Richardson and Gardner Minshew would both need to suffer injuries.

McKee (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Commanders.

Despite being considered inactive, McKee will still suit up and act as the emergency third quarterback in the event Jalen Hurts and Marcus Mariota were to suffer injuries.

Luton (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Buccaneers.

Luton joined the team Tuesday as a potential emergency option with Derek Carr (shoulder) ailing. However, with Carr healthy enough to start and Jameis Winston set to back him up, Luton will be the odd man out.

Rudolph (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Texans, but he'll dress and serve as the emergency quarterback, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

For a fourth straight week, Rudolph will technically be inactive but is eligible to play if both Kenny Pickett and Mitch Trubisky are forced out of the game. Rudolph didn't appear in any games last year, but he's played in 17 contests since being drafted by Pittsburgh in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Hall (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Panthers, but he'll dress and serve as Minnesota's emergency quarterback, Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Hall was listed as questionable after missing Friday's practice due to a personal matter, but he returned to the team ahead of Sunday's game. He's technically inactive but will be available to play if both Kirk Cousins and Nick Mullens are knocked out of the game.

Carr (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game versus the Buccaneers, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.

Carr endured an early departure from last Sunday's loss at Green Bay and eventually was diagnosed with an AC joint sprain in his right throwing shoulder. By returning to practice Friday in a limited fashion, he put himself in a position to return Week 4, but he still entered the weekend with a questionable designation. As Sunday's kickoff drew closer, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that Carr was expected to play, which has come to pass. Carr thus will be working with running back Alvin Kamara for the first time following the latter's three-game suspension to begin the season. The quarterback will be looking to build upon the 636 passing yards that he's put up through two and a half games to date.
