  • Jameis Winston QB | NYG

Browns' Jameis Winston: Career-high passing total in loss

Winston completed 34 of 58 passes for 497 yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions while adding three rushes for 11 yards in the Browns' 41-32 loss to the Broncos on Monday night. He also threw a two-point conversion pass.

Winston's final line was a signature one for a quarterback who's always combined a high risk tolerance with ill-timed throws, a recipe for an abundance of both yardage and turnovers. Both came to fruition Monday night, with Winston impressively dissecting what had been a suffocating Denver secondary over the course of the game with a major assist from former Broncos receiver Jerry Jeudy. Winston connected with Jeudy for 235 of his 497 yards, including a 70-yard touchdown, and he also facilitated a 100-yard performance for Elijah Moore while tallying a pair of scoring tosses to David Njoku (eight and four yards) and another to Nick Chubb (five yards). However, Winston's last two interceptions snuffed out any hope of a Cleveland victory, with Ja'Quan McMillian recording the Broncos' second pick-six of the night at the 1:48 mark of the fourth quarter to expand a 34-32 lead, and Cody Barton then snagging a pass intended for Njoku in the end zone with 44 seconds remaining. Despite the unpleasant finish for Winston and the Browns, the veteran signal-caller has raised the ceiling of Cleveland's offense several notches above what it was under Deshaun Watson, but he'll have another tough assignment on paper in a Week 14 road rematch with the Steelers.

  • Rams' Matthew Stafford: Dealing with minor ankle sprain

Stafford suffered a lateral ankle sprain in Sunday's Week 13 win over New Orleans, but neither his practice nor game status this week is expected to be affected, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

Rams coach Sean McVay didn't seem concerned Monday when mentioning Stafford's ankle issue, suggesting that the star quarterback wouldn't be restricted in practice this week or in this coming Sunday's matchup against Buffalo. A lateral sprain is the most common type of ankle sprain and occurs on the outside of the ankle, and Stafford's sprain seems to be relatively minor. The injury likely occurred in the second quarter of Sunday's victory, as Stafford was seen limping a few plays prior to sneaking for four yards on a fourth-down conversion.

  • Kyle Trask QB | TB

Buccaneers' Kyle Trask: Cameo appearance in Week 13 win

Trask replaced Baker Mayfield (leg) for two plays during the Buccaneers' 26-23 overtime win against the Panthers on Sunday and completed his only pass attempt for five yards.

Trask took his first snap with 5:32 remaining in the third quarter on a handoff to Bucky Irving (hip) and completed a five-yard pass to his running back on the next play before Mayfield reentered the contest after walking off his leg injury, which was the result of being cleated. The pass was Trask's first of the season and came in what was his second appearance overall. Mayfield was experiencing leg soreness Monday, per Jenna Laine of ESPN.com, but he's expected to be ready to play in Sunday's Week 14 home matchup against the Raiders.

  • Michael Pratt: Returns to practice squad

Pratt reverted to Tampa Bay's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Though Pratt was elevated for Week 13, he was inactive against Carolina. The rookie quarterback hasn't yet gotten to NFL game with both Baker Mayfield (leg) and Kyle Trask ahead of him on the depth chart. It would likely take an absence by one of those two quarterbacks for Pratt to be active on a game day this season.

  • Jaren Hall QB | SEA

Jaren Hall: Back with practice squad

Hall reverted to the Seahawks' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Hall was inactive for Sunday's 26-21 win over the Jets, joining the active roster for the first time this season. With Geno Smith and Sam Howell operating as the team's top two options at quarterback, Hall hasn't had a direct path to playing time.

  • Mike White QB | CAR

Mike White: Reverts to practice squad

White reverted to the Bills' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

White was elevated for the Bills' 35-10 win over the 49ers on Sunday, when he served as the emergency third quarterback behind Josh Allen and Mitchell Trubisky. White did not see the field, as neither Allen nor Trubisky suffered injuries that knocked them out of the game.

  • Zach Wilson QB | NO

Broncos' Zach Wilson: Emergency QB for Week 13

Wilson (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday night's matchup against the Browns but will serve as Denver's emergency third quarterback.

Wilson has yet to appear in a game for the Broncos this season and will continue to serve as the team's emergency third quarterback in Week 13. Jarrett Stidham will back up Bo Nix on Monday night, and Wilson can only enter the game if both QBs ahead of him become unavailable.

  • Bailey Zappe QB | NYJ

Browns' Bailey Zappe: Dropped by Cleveland

The Browns waived Zappe on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The 25-year-old quarterback from Western Kentucky joined the Browns' active roster Oct. 23 and had been serving as the team's emergency third QB before being waived Monday. Zappe's most recent regular-season NFL action came with the Patriots in 2023, appearing in 10 games and throwing for 1,272 yards, six touchdowns and nine interceptions. He could remain in Cleveland on the Browns' practice squad if he clears waivers.

  • Dolphins' Skylar Thompson: Moves down depth chart

Thompson will not handle backup quarterback duties against the Jets on Sunday, Alain Poupart of SI.com reports.

Thompson has been serving as Tua Tagovailoa's backup, but he'll turn those duties over to Tyler Huntley beginning in Week 14. The 27-year-old will still likely serve as an emergency quarterback versus New York.

  • Tyler Huntley QB | BAL

Dolphins' Tyler Huntley: Moves up depth chart

Huntley will serve as the Dolphins' No. 2 quarterback against the Jets on Sunday, Alain Poupart of SI.com reports.

Huntley served as Miami's starting quarterback when Tua Tagovailoa missed time due to a concussion earlier this season. However, the Utah product suffered a shoulder injury in his final start that led to an IR stint and resulted in Skylar Thompson moving into the backup role. Despite being healthy for a Thanksgiving Day matchup, Huntley was inactive, but he and Thompson are apparently set to swap roles in Week 14.
