Tyrod Taylor QB | GB
Browns' Tyrod Taylor: Not listed on injury report
Taylor isn't listed on Cleveland's initial injury report ahead of Sunday's opener against Pittsburgh, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Taylor had a bit of a scare when he took an awkward fall on his non-throwing hand during Cleveland's third preseason game. He was ultimately diagnosed with a sore wrist and a dislocated pinkie finger, with head coach Hue Jackson maintaining all along that neither injury presented a threat to Taylor's status as the team's starting quarterback in Week 1. Taylor will have his full array of weapons to open the season, though Josh Gordon (hamstring) will be eased into action with a limited snap count.

Tanner Lee QB | JAC
Tanner Lee: Lands on practice squad
The Jaguars signed Lee to their practice squad Monday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM Radio reports.
The team's sixth-round pick in April's draft, Lee was shaky during the preseason. He was a long shot to make the roster in the first place since Blake Bortles and Cody Kessler are already on the squad.

Alex McGough QB | GB
Alex McGough: Lands on practice squad
The Seahawks signed McGough to their practice squad Monday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
McGough had a turbulent preseason, with moments of poise and others that revealed why no team selected him until the seventh round of April's draft. In turn, the Seahawks traded for Brett Hundley to be Russell Wilson's backup. McGough will use the time time to develop and possibly vie for the backup role in 2019 when Hundley's contract expires.

Jameis Winston QB | NYG
Buccaneers' Jameis Winston: Not guaranteed starting role upon return
Winston (suspension) isn't guaranteed the starting job upon his Week 4 return in the opinion of general manager Jason Licht, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports. "[If] Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ryan Griffin, whoever it is, is playing lights out, I don't think it's fair right now just to say, 'Yes, automatically, [Jameis] is going to be the guy,'" Licht said. "Now, he may be. Dirk and I -- Dirk in particular -- he's got some time to think about that."
Licht made his comments during the local broadcast of last Thursday's preseason finale against the Jaguars, certainly raising a few eyebrows. Ryan Fitzpatrick faces an uphill battle to give the uncertainty Licht alludes to in his comments further credence, however, considering the veteran quarterback is slated to face three stingy defenses in the Saints, Eagles and Steelers over the guaranteed portion of his starting tenure. Furthermore, Winston is coming off the best preseason of his career, completing 73.0 percent of his 41 attempts for 388 yards while generating a 3:0 TD:INT and 126.9 passer rating across three exhibitions. Coach Dirk Koetter certainly took note, giving Winston an "A" grade for his efforts this summer and noting that his fourth-year quarterback "did a really good job of working on things he needed to work on". Licht's comments aside, it would presumably take a near-elite effort from Fitzpatrick in three especially tough matchups to have a chance at extending his stint under center beyond those contests.

Mason Rudolph QB | PIT
Steelers' Mason Rudolph: No. 3 spot on depth chart
Rudolph heads into Week 1 as the No. 3 quarterback on the depth chart, Bob Labriola of the Steelers' official site reports.
Joshua Dobbs beat out Landry Jones for the No. 2 spot on the depth chart, but the Steelers weren't inclined to let the Rudolph go in favor of the longtime backup. The Steelers do not usually dress three quarterbacks, which means Rudolph will likely be inactive, at least to begin the season.
-
Joshua Dobbs QB | DET
Steelers' Joshua Dobbs: No. 2 on depth chart
Dobbs is now the second-string quarterback behind Ben Roethlisberger, Dale Lolley of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
Dobbs beat out longtime backup Landry Jones for the main backup job, with rookie Mason Rudolph securing the No. 3 spot on the depth chart. Dobbs played well in Thursday's preseason game against Carolina, completing eight of 12 passes for 151 yards and a touchdown and taking three carries for 18 yards and another touchdown.

Logan Woodside QB | ARI
Logan Woodside: Signs to Titans' practice squad
Woodside signed to the Titans' practice squad Monday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
A seventh-round selection by the Bengals in April's draft, Woodside couldn't beat out Jeff Driskel for the backup role. He'll now spend the season refining his craft, learning from veterans Marcus Mariota and Blaine Gabbert.
-
Chase Litton QB | KC
Chase Litton: Joins Chiefs' practice squad
Litton signed to the Chiefs' practice squad on Monday, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.
Litton re-joins the Chiefs after finishing the preseason having completed 24 of 41 passes for 299 yards and one touchdown. He'll now spend the year learning behind the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Chad Henne.
-
Christian Hackenberg QB | LV
Christian Hackenberg: Joins Bengals' practice squad
Hackenberg was signed to the Bengals' practice squad on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports.
Hackenberg spent the offseason in Philadelphia but failed to secure a spot on the 53-man roster. The former 2016 second-round selection will now join his fourth different team.

Paxton Lynch QB | PIT
Paxton Lynch: Set to work out for Bills
Lynch is slated to work out for the Bills on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The Broncos recently cut ties with the No. 26 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, but he figures to catch on elsewhere as a backup. The Bills have current starter Nathan Peterman, as well as 2018 first-rounder Josh Allen on hand, so if Lynch were to sign with Buffalo, he'd be the team's clear-cut No. 3 option. Alternatively, the team may just want to kick the tires on Lynch, with an eye toward having him on a short list of potential replacements should either Peterman or Allen suffer an injury.
