Houston assistant coach Andy Bischoff said Thursday that Driskel is transitioning from quarterback to tight end, Aaron Reiss of The Athletic reports.

Bischoff described Driskel as "a rare athlete," and one who could also contribute on special teams, but the coach added this is a developmental process for the 28-year-old. With that in mind, Driskel is unlikely to be active on game days for Houston in the short term, if at all this season. The organization doesn't consider him a quarterback at this time, per conversations between Bischoff, head coach David Culley and general manager Nick Caserio.

The Lions reinstated Boyle (thumb) from injured reserve Friday.

The transaction officially restores Boyle to the active roster, while clearing the way for him to make his first career NFL start Sunday against the Browns with Jared Goff (oblique) listed as doubtful for the contest and not expected to be available. Through four pro seasons, Boyle has just four regular-season pass attempts to his name, and his inexperience, poor pass-catching personnel and matchup with a fearsome Cleveland pass rush all conspire to make him an untrustworthy fantasy option. Even against watered-down competition in the preseason, Boyle completed just 22 of 39 passes (56.4 percent) for 3.5 yards per attempt, one touchdown and no interceptions. He doesn't present any threat as a runner either.

McCoy (pectoral) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

According to Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site, McCoy upgraded to full participation in practice Friday after limited showings Wednesday and Thursday, so the veteran signal-caller will more than likely be ready to go come Sunday. The bigger question is whether he'll pick up a third consecutive start, or if he'll revert to his customary backup role in the event Kyler Murray (ankle) returns from a two-game absence. After closing the week with a pair of limited practices, Murray is being viewed as a game-time decision, so clarity on McCoy's Week 11 role may not come until Arizona unveils its inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. In his previous two turns as starter, McCoy completed 33 of 46 throws (71.7 percent) for 356 yards (7.7 YPA) and a 1:1 TD:INT.

The Cardinals list Murray (ankle) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Arizona head coach Kliff Kingsbury labeled the quarterback as a game-time decision earlier Friday, according to Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com.

For the third week in a row, Kingsbury is terming Murray as game-day or game-time decision, but the third-year signal-caller appears to have a more realistic shot at playing this week compared to the prior two contests. According to Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site, Murray practiced on a limited basis Wednesday through Friday after previously managing only one limited session in Week 10 and none in Week 9. Colt McCoy (pectoral), who started the past two games under center, is listed as questionable as well, but after practicing fully Friday, he should be available to pick up the start if Murray can't. No. 3 option Chris Streveler heads into the weekend as the only Arizona quarterback without an injury designation.

Watson (not injury-related) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Titans.

Though Watson remains on the Texans' roster after not being dealt ahead of the NFL's Nov. 2 trade deadline, he'll remain a fixture on the team's inactive list for the rest of the season. Tyrod Taylor is in line to handle the team's starting quarterback duties Sunday, with Davis Mills set to serve as his backup.

Goff (oblique) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game in Cleveland, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.

The Lions are expected to activate Tim Boyle (thumb) from injured reserve to make the start, while David Blough figures to be the backup. Goff was scheduled to throw Friday after missing practice Wednesday and Thursday, but the Lions ultimately held him out of practice again at the end of the week. A Thursday game in Week 12, against the Bears, could make it difficult for Goff to avoid multiple absences, even though he played through the pain without missing a snap after he injured his oblique in the first quarter of last week's 16-16 tie with the Steelers.

Jackson (illness) doesn't carry an injury designation heading into Sunday's game against the Bears, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

After sitting out practice Wednesday and Thursday due to a non COVID-related illness that he described as a cold, per ESPN's Jamison Hensley, Jackson practiced fully Friday and indicated that he's "feeling great." As a result, he'll start this weekend against the 3-6 Bears, who have lost four straight contests and will be without star pass-rusher Khalil Mack (foot) and probably top wideout Allen Robinson (hamstring/doubtful) as well.

Rodgers (toe) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Minnesota.

Rodgers and coach Matt LaFleur have both already said the quarterback would start Sunday's game despite missing practice Wednesday and Thursday. Rodgers returned Friday as a limited participant, while WR Allen Lazard (shoulder) missed another session and is listed as doubtful.

Tagovailoa (finger) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Jets and has been cleared to start the contest, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.

Tagovailoa will reclaim starting duties from Jacoby Brissett for the first time since Week 8, though the Dolphins felt comfortable enough with the second-year signal-caller's health to use him in relief of Brissett in last week's upset win over the Ravens. Not only did Tagovailoa perform well off the bench in that contest, but he also closed the current week with a pair of full practices to assuage any lingering concern about his ability to play through a fractured middle finger on his throwing hand. According to Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com, head coach Brian Flores confirmed Friday that Tagovailoa has looked good in practice this week despite "pushing through" some lingering discomfort in the finger, suggesting the 23-year-old won't be subject to any limitations against New York.

The Jets list Wilson (knee) as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Dolphins after he practiced on a limited basis throughout the week, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

For the second week in a row, the rookie signal-caller carries a doubtful designation into the weekend, and it doesn't come as much of a surprise after head coach Robert Saleh said Wednesday that Joe Flacco would start under center Week 11 while Mike White serves as his backup. Though the Jets were initially hopeful that Wilson would be able to play this weekend and put an end to a three-game absence due to a PCL sprain of his right knee, he took a small step back in terms of activity this week after managing a full practice last Friday. Assuming Wilson's knee responds better to the Jets' slate of practices Week 12, he'll likely take back the reins of the offense from Flacco in the team's Nov. 28 game in Houston.
