Vikings kicker Blair Walsh, who was probable with a hamstring injury, is active for the game against the Packers. Walsh missed a 53-yard field goal at the Giants last week after converting the first 12 tries from 50-plus in his career.

Vikings kicker Blair Walsh (hamstring) is probable yet again for Week 8 against the Packers, as he continues to move on from his injury. 

Panthers kicker Graham Gano didn't get a ton of chances in Week 8 against the Buccaneers, as the offense was humming in a 31-13 win Thursday. Gano made his lone field-goal attempt, from 29 yards out, and added four successful extra-point attempts.

Gano has yet to miss a field goal this season, as he is perfect on 10 attempts. He has also successfully converted 20 extra-point attempts. 

Vikings kicker Blair Walsh entered Week 7 having hit all 12 of his career field-goal tries from at least 50 yards. He came up short on a 53-yarder against the Giants.

Walsh has a tender hamstring in his plant leg, which probably contributed to the miss. It was his only field-goal try of the game. Walsh, who hit his only PAT, plays the Packers in Week 8.

Several Vikings who were listed as probable are active for the game at the Giants, including defensive end Jared Allen (ankle), tight end Rhett Ellison (ankle), quarterback Christian Ponder (rib), cornerback Xavier Rhodes (ankle), center John Sullivan (hand), kicker Blair Walsh (hamstring), defensive tackle Kevin Williams (knee) and wideout Jarius Wright (ankle).

Broncos kicker Matt Prater improved to 11 for 11 on field goals this season by nailing both his tries against the Colts. Prater converted from 31 and 47 yards and added three PATs for a 9-point night.

Prater faces the Redskins in Week 8.

Ravens kicker Justin Tucker enjoyed a productive day during Sunday's loss to the Steelers in Week 7.

Tucker nailed a 46-yard field goal late in the first quarter and a 38-yard shot late in the second quarter. He then connected on a 32-yard attempt in the fourth quarter. He finished the game 3 for 3 in field goal attempts and 1 for 1 in extra point attempts.

Dolphins kicker Caleb Sturgis missed a field goal for the second week in a row in Week 7 against the Bills. And, for the second straight week, it proved costly, in a 23-21 loss.

Sturgis attempted just one field goal, from 51 yards out, which he missed. He did add three extra-points in the game.

Sturgis is 10 for 12 to open his career on field-goal attempts.

Panthers kicker Graham Gano had a busy day Sunday, in a 30-15 win over the Rams in Week 7.

Gano kicked three field goals, nailing them all from 37, 31 and 50 yards out. He was also good on three extra-point attempts, finishing with 12 points.

Gano has made nine field goals on the season, without missing so far. 

Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein remained perfect for the season in Week 7 against the Panthers, as he added two more field goals in a 30-15 loss.

Zuerlein connected from 28 and 42 yards in the game, moving him to 11 for 11 on the season. He added a successful extra point in the loss.
