Mike Badgley K | BUF
Chargers' Michael Badgley: Added to injury report Friday
Badgley is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts after injuring his groin during Friday's practice, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Badgley is currently the only kicker on the Chargers' roster, so the team's level of concern with regard to his injury will be illustrated by whether or not another option at the position is added in advance of Sunday's contest.

Eddy Pineiro K | SF
Bears' Eddy Pineiro: Perfect in opener
Pineiro converted his only field-goal attempt in the Bears' 10-3 loss to the Packers on Thursday.
Pineiro's field goal resulted in the first points of the NFL season, and the successful kick brought quite an eruption from the Chicago crowd with the Soldier Field faithful trying to put the memory of Cody Parkey behind them. Otherwise, the Bears were unable to move the ball consistently, resulting in a quiet night for the kicker. With the offense expected to pick things up soon, Pineiro could end up being a serviceable fantasy option, and he would have added value in leagues that provide bonus points for long kicks due to his extremely strong leg.

Cairo Santos K | CHI
Titans' Cairo Santos: Replacing injured Succop
Santos agreed to a contract Wednesday with the Titans, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Santos didn't take long to find work elsewhere after he lost a preseason kicking battle to Matt Gay in Tampa Bay. The 27-year-old now takes over in Tennessee for Ryan Succop (knee), who will be placed on injured reserve. Succop averaged just 26.8 field-goal attempts and 32.5 point-after tries over the past five seasons, despite playing 16 games each year. Apart from 2016, the Titans offense has been league-average or worse for the past decade.

Bears' Eddy Pineiro: Set to kick Thursday
Pineiro will serve as the Bears' kicker Thursday against the Packers, Adam Hoge of WGN Radio 720 AM Chicago reports.
Coach Matt Nagy confirmed Sunday that the team won't bring in a new kicker before the regular-season opener. That doesn't mean Pineiro will keep the job long term; he'll presumably be on a short leash despite converting eight of nine field-goal attempts (including a 58-yarder) in four preseason games. The Bears enter Week 1 with on other kicker on their 53-man roster.

Cairo Santos K | CHI
Cairo Santos: Cut by Tampa Bay
Santos was released by the Buccaneers on Saturday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Santos lost the kicking battle to Matt Gay in Tampa Bay. Santos has bounced around the past few seasons, kicking for four teams the past two seasons. He's 18-for-23 on field goals and 36-for-37 on extra-point attempts over that span. He may get a look from teams that have kicking troubles or injuries to the position during the year.

Matt Gay K | LV
Buccaneers' Matt Gay: Roster spot made official
Gay officially won the Buccaneers' placekicking job with the release of Cairo Santos on Saturday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
There wasn't much suspense surrounding Gay's job security, but any remote chance of the Buccaneers potentially keeping both kickers to open the season was eliminated Saturday. Gay was able to demonstrate the same powerful leg he'd flashed in his college career at Utah during the preseason with a pair of makes of beyond 50 yards and a 5-for-6 tally on field goals overall. The rookie will be set up for success if he can manage to generate a similar caliber of performance in the regular season, as coach Bruce Arians' offense should offer him no shortage of scoring opportunities.

Blair Walsh K | ATL
Blair Walsh: Released by Falcons
Walsh was released by the Falcons on Saturday, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
Walsh lasted only a week in Atlanta, with the team ultimately deciding to re-sign franchise mainstay Matt Bryant. Walsh struggled in his practice session Tuesday, hitting only five of nine tries, but it is uncertain if that performance played a major factor in the Falcons going a different direction at kicker.

Giorgio Tavecchio K | ATL
Giorgio Tavecchio: Released by Falcons
Tavecchio was released by the Falcons on Saturday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
Tavecchio went only 4-for-9 on field-goal attempts this preseason. With reliable veteran Matt Bryant re-signed, it's no surprise to see Tavecchio released. He will look for a job with another NFL team.

Matt Bryant K | ATL
Falcons' Matt Bryant: Signs with Falcons
Bryant signed a contract with the Falcons on Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Bryant worked out with the Falcons on Thursday and was ultimately lured out of retirement, presumably to replace Giorgio Tavecchio and Blair Walsh, who were equally disappointing during the preseason. The 44-year-old has been nearly automatic in domes throughout his career, connecting on 89.4 percent of his kicks in the aforementioned contests. Bryant should be an intriguing fantasy option situated in the Atlanta offense that plays just three outdoor games all season.

Wil Lutz K | DEN
Saints' Wil Lutz: Doesn't attempt field goal in loss
Lutz didn't attempt a field goal and made his only extra-point attempt in the Saints' 16-13 loss to the Dolphins in Thursday's preseason finale.
The Saints didn't offer much on offense, scoring just two touchdowns and going for a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter following a Jacquizz Rodgers score. Lutz should be a high-end kicker for fantasy purposes this season while playing on a high-powered Saints offense.
