Jake Elliott K | PHI
Eagles' Jake Elliott: Makes only field-goal try in win
Elliott made his only field goal attempt in Sunday's 32-27 win over Washington and added three extra points.
Elliott sank the nail in Washington's coffin with a 22-yard boot midway through the fourth quarter to give the Eagles a 32-20 lead. The Memphis product will look to stay perfect on the road Week 2 at Atlanta.

Joey Slye K | TEN
Panthers' Joey Slye: Makes 50-plus yarder
Slye made two of three field-goal attempts and all three of his extra-point tries en route to nine points in Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Rams.
Slye went wide right from 53 yards on his first regular-season attempt, but he responded by draining 46- and 52-yard kicks on his subsequent tries. Overall, that made for a solid debut, although the fact Carolina lost by three might leave him with something to atone for.

Brett Maher K | LAR
Cowboys' Brett Maher: Quiet in Week 1 win
Maher converted all five of his PATs but didn't attempt a field goal in Sunday's win over the Giants.
The Cowboys' offense was devastatingly efficient to begin the season -- on one third-quarter drive, the team needed only three plays to march 75 yards for a TD -- which left little for Maher to do but mop up afterwards. Given his occasionally shaky preseason and training camp, a game like this to get settled in and boost the kicker's confidence might be better in the long run, and if Dak Prescott and the Dallas passing game continue to put up elite numbers, the fantasy fortunes of everyone involved can only rise, Maher included.

Chris Boswell K | PIT
Steelers' Chris Boswell: Game flow limits opportunities
Boswell made his lone field-goal (19) attempt in Pittsburgh's 33-3 loss to New England on Sunday.
The Steelers were already trailing 27-0 when the only points they could generate came on fourth-and-goal from the one-yard line with 10:17 remaining in the third quarter. The offense should turn things around, providing Boswell with the opportunity to put up big fantasy numbers, but, until they do, there are better kicking options available.

Cairo Santos K | CHI
Titans' Cairo Santos: Fills in capably
Santos was perfect in his team debut, connecting on two field-goal attempts as well as all five of his extra-point attempts.
Santos made his team-debut after Ryan Succop (knee) was forced to injured reserve late in the preseason. He quickly made a good impression, drilling field goals from 37 and 53 yards out while the game was still competitive. Given the performance, he should continue to serve as the team's kicker in Week 2 against the Colts.

Matt Gay K | LV
Buccaneers' Matt Gay: Perfect on three kicks
Gay made his only field-goal attempt, a 31-yarder, and also connected on two extra points in the Buccaneers' 31-17 loss to the 49ers on Sunday.
Gay was a bright spot on a fairly dismal afternoon for the Buccaneers, as he demonstrated the same accuracy that won him the starting job over Cairo Santos this preseason. The rookie should be in for plenty of scoring opportunities through the course of the season, as the combination of coach Bruce Arians' aggressive playcalling and Jameis Winston's propensity for sometimes short-circuiting drives with inaccurate passes could lead to an ample bounty of field-goal tries.

Mike Badgley K | BUF
Chargers' Michael Badgley: Inactive Sunday
Badgley (groin) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts.
As a result, punter Ty Long will pull double duty Sunday and add the team's placekicking duties to his job description in Week 1. Badgley will now aim to be ready to return to action for next Sunday's contest against the Lions.

Mike Badgley K | BUF
Chargers' Michael Badgley: Not on track for Week 1
Badgley (groin), who is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Colts, won't be available to play, a source told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Badgley won't be officially ruled out until the Chargers release their inactive list approximately 90 minutes before the 4:05 p.m. EDT kickoff, but fantasy managers should already begin evaluating other options to fill their kicker slot in Week 1. Since the Chargers weren't able to add another kicker to the roster before Saturday's deadline to do so, punter Ty Long will pull double duty Sunday as Los Angeles' lone available specialist.

Mike Badgley K | BUF
Chargers' Michael Badgley: Downgraded to doubtful
Badgley (groin) was downgraded to doubtful for Sunday's contest against the Colts.
This is rather concerning considering Badgley picked up the injury following Friday's practice. While the team didn't completely rule out Badgley, fantasy owners depending on the Chargers kicker should turn to Ty Long, who is expected to handle both punting and kicking duties in the event the second-year kicker is unable to play.

Chargers' Michael Badgley: Questionable this week
If Badgley (groin) can't kick Sunday against the Colts, punter Ty Long would be in line to handle the Chargers' Week 1 kicking duties, Eric D. Williams of ESPN.com reports.
We'll look for added clarity with regard to Badgley's Week 1 status leading up to the contest, but given that he's banged up and the Chargers kick off at 4:05 p.m. ET on Sunday, Badgley -- who is officially listed as questionable by the team -- looks like a risky lineup option at this stage.
