Blake Haubeil: Joins Carolina
Haubeil was signed to the Panthers' practice squad Wednesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.

Ka'imi Fairbairn K | HOU
Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Returns from COVID list
Houston activated Fairbairn (illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
Fairbairn will reclaim kicking duties for Houston after Dominik Eberle filled in Week 16 against the Chargers while Fairbarn recovered from the virus. The Texans have scored 71 points while notching consecutive wins, so Fairbairn could have some sneaky upside Week 17 in San Francisco if quarterback Davis Mills and the Houston passing game is able to keep rolling against the 49ers' suspect secondary.

Harrison Butker K | KC
Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Returns from COVID list
Kansas City activated Butker (illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
Butker sat out the Chiefs' Week 16 win over the Steelers after testing positive for the virus, but he's now back on the active roster following a nine-day isolation period. While filling in for Butker last week, Elliott Fry went 3-for-4 on field-goal attempts and 3-for-4 on point-after attempts. Fry has since been released, clearing the way for Butker to reclaim kicking duties.

Seahawks' Jason Myers: Misses kick Sunday
Myers missed one of his two field-goal attempts but made all three of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 25-24 loss to the Bears.
Myers converted from 36 yards on his first field goal, but his miss from 39 yards in the fourth quarter ultimately contributed toward Seattle taking a narrow defeat. The veteran has now missed a kick in three of his last four games and sits with just 72 points on the campaign, ranking outside the top 25 league-wide at his position.

Brett Maher K | LAR
Saints' Brett Maher: Makes only kick
Maher made his only field-goal attempt in Monday night's 20-3 loss to the Dolphins.
Maher converted from 38 yards on his lone kick of the evening, scoring all of New Orleans' points for the game. He'll hope to get more chances in Week 17 versus the Panthers.

Jason Sanders K | MIA
Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Misses kick Monday
Sanders missed one of his three field-goal attempts but made both of his extra-point tries in Monday night's 20-3 win over the Saints.

Matt Gay K | LV
Rams' Matt Gay: Remains perfect versus Vikings
Gay made all three of his field-goal attempts and all three of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 30-23 win over the Vikings.
Gay drilled kicks from 32, 31 and 24 yards to extend his streak to 23 straight field-goal makes. Thanks to such great recent form, Gay is now tied for the league lead with 136 points this term.

Brandon McManus K | GB
Broncos' Brandon McManus: Another missed kick
McManus missed one of three field-goal attempts but made his only extra-point try in Sunday's 17-13 loss to the Raiders.
McManus nailed a 49- and 55-yarder on his first two field goals, but he couldn't convert from 55 yards again on his last attempt. As a result, he's now missed a kick in consecutive games, a streak he'll aim to break in Week 17 versus the Chargers.

Matt Prater K | BUF
Cardinals' Matt Prater: Misses three kicks
Prater missed two of three field-goal attempts and one of two extra-point tries in Saturday's 22-16 loss to the Colts.
Prater missed from 51 yards to begin the game and then failed with his PAT after Arizona scored on its next drive. The veteran subsequently hit the right upright with a 41-yarder in the second half, before finally closing with a make from 28 yards. In the end, Prater's misses proved costly and directly contributed toward the Cardinals losing a third straight game. He'll strive to rebound from arguably his worst performance of the campaign in Week 17 versus the Cowboys.
