  • Commanders' Matthew Wright: Miniscule workload during MNF

Wright did not attempt a field goal and made his only extra-point try in Monday night's 28-7 loss to the Chiefs.

Wright was elevated from the practice squad to start in place of Matt Gay (back) in Week 8, but he ultimately wasn't overly busy in the defeat. The kicker has now made two spot starts with the Titans and Commanders this season, making his only field-goal attempt while going 2-for-2 on PATs. If Gay is unavailable for Washington's Week 9 matchup with the Seahawks, Wright would likely be elevated again.

  • Commanders' Matthew Wright: Making spot start for Commanders

Washington signed Wright to the practice squad Monday and elevated him to the active roster to handle placekicking duties in place of Matt Gay (back) versus the Chiefs.

Wright, who made a start for the Titans in Week 6 but was then cut from Tennessee's practice squad on Oct. 17, now will hold down the fort at kicker for the Commanders for at least one game. He was perfect in limited action for the Titans, converting his only field-goal try and his lone extra-point attempt. If Gay's injury keeps him sidelined more than one contest, Wright could get another chance to kick Week 9 versus Seattle.

  • Matt Gay K | SF

Commanders' Matt Gay: Ruled out for MNF

Gay (back) has been downgraded to out for Monday's game against the Chiefs.

Gay will miss Week 8 due to a lingering back injury, with Washington instead elevating Matthew Wright from the practice squad to handle placekicker duties. It remains to be seen whether Gay's injury could force him to miss any more time, but his next chance to take the field will come Week 9 at home against the Seahawks on Sunday, Nov. 2.

  • Packers' Brandon McManus: Uneven performance in win

McManus went 2-for-4 on field-goal attempts and made all three of his PATs in Sunday night's 35-25 win over the Steelers.

McManus made his return to action after missing two games with a right quadriceps injury. The kicker appeared to be a little rusty in the first half, leaving a 57-yard field-goal attempt short before missing a 44-yarder wide left as time expired in the second quarter. McManus was able to rebound after the break, connecting on field goals from 28 and 25 yards in the fourth quarter. On the year, he's now gone 9-for-13 on field-goal tries, including 2-for-3 from 50-plus yards, while also making 14 of 15 extra-point attempts over five contests.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: Powers offense in loss

Boswell went 4-for-4 on field-goal attempts and made his only PAT in Sunday night's 35-25 loss to the Packers.

Boswell was called upon early and often in the first half, making field goals from 56, 50 and 48 yards before the break. He later added another 56-yarder in the third quarter, notching his first performance with at least four field-goal makes since Week 11 of the 2024 campaign. The kicker has continued to be one of the most reliable in the league, going 14-for-16 on field-goal tries, including 6-for-7 from 50-plus yards, over seven games this season.

  • Joey Slye K | TEN

Titans' Joey Slye: Misses long field goal Sunday

Slye connected on both extra-point tries but missed his only field-goal attempt in Sunday's 38-14 loss to the Colts.

The kicker booted the ball wide right on a 58-yard attempt late in the first half. Slye is now just 15-of-20 on field-goal tries in 2025, and all of the misses have been from 40 yards or longer. The veteran has also attempted just eight extra points in seven games due to his struggling offense.

  • Blake Grupe K | NO

Saints' Blake Grupe: Hits 48-yard field goal

Grupe went 1-for-1 on field-goal tries in Sunday's 23-3 loss to the Bucs.

The kicker connected from 48 yards out late in the first half, his only opportunity of the game. Grupe has missed five times this season from 40 yards or longer, though he is 10-of-11 from inside 40 and 11-of-11 on extra-point tries. The third-year pro has attempted multiple field goals in five games this season and multiple extra points in just three.

  • Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Quiet performance in Week 8

Aubrey made his only field-goal attempt and went 3-for-3 on extra-point tries in Sunday's 44-24 loss to the Broncos.

Aubrey connected on a 24-yard field goal to cap off the Cowboys' first possession of the game, which would prove to be his only field-goal try in the contest. The kicker has now gone 16-for-16 on field-goal attempts, including 5-for-5 from more than 50 yards, while making 26 of 27 PATs over eight contests this year.

  • Mike Badgley K | IND

Colts' Michael Badgley: Doesn't miss Sunday

Badgley went a perfect 1-for-1 on field-goal attempts and 5-for-5 on extra-point tries in Sunday's 38-14 win over the Titans.

The kicker hit a 43-yarder in the first quarter and then just rode his high-scoring offense to five more points throughout the rest of the game. Since replacing Spencer Shrader, who is out for the season with a knee injury, Badgley has made at least three extra points in all three games he's played in, and he has only missed once, going 12-of-13 on extra points and 3-for-3 on field goals. The kicker job on one of the league's best offenses should be his for the foreseeable future.

  • Wil Lutz K | DEN

Broncos' Wil Lutz: Nails six kicks vs. Dallas

Lutz made his lone field-goal attempt and all five of his extra-point tries during the Broncos' 44-24 win over the Cowboys on Sunday.

Most of Lutz's points came on PATs, as the Broncos' offense ran into little resistance against the Cowboys' defense, though he did connect on a 42-yard field goal in the third quarter. Lutz has not missed a kick in six straight games and has gone 10-for-11 on field-goal attempts and 21-for-21 on point-after tries through eight regular-season games.
