Titans' Nick Folk: DNP on Thursday

Folk (abdomen) was listed as a DNP on Thursday's injury report, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Folk has missed the Titans' first two practices of the week due to an abdominal injury, and it appears he is in jeopardy of being sidelined for Sunday's game against the Colts. The Titans have Brayden Narveson on the practice squad, and he would be elevated to the active roster should Folk not progress through his recovery enough to play. Folk has been one of the most accurate kickers in the NFL this year, going 21-for-22 on field-goal attempts and converting on all 25 extra-point tries through 14 regular-season games.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Cardinals' Matt Prater: Limited in practice

Prater (knee) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

The Cardinals also listed Prater as limited Wednesday when they opened his 21-day window for a return from injured reserve. Chad Ryland has done a solid job filling in as the team's placekicker and will handle the role again this Sunday at Carolina unless Prater is activated from IR before then.

  • Matt Gay K | SF

Colts' Matt Gay: Doesn't practice Thursday

Gay (neck) did not participate in Thursday's practice.

Gay has now logged consecutive DNPs to start the week due to a neck injury he may have picked up during the Colts' Week 15 loss to the Broncos. If the Colts sign a placekicker to the practice squad, that would indicate that Gay is in jeopardy of being sidelined for Sunday's game against the Titans.

  • Commanders' Zane Gonzalez: Upgrades to full practice

Gonzalez (foot) was a full practice participant Thursday.

The Commanders list him with a foot injury, but coach Dan Quinn said an absence from practice Wednesday was due to the birth of Gonzalez's child. A quick return to practice suggests he'll be ready for Sunday's home game against the Eagles.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Cardinals' Matt Prater: Logs limited session Wednesday

Prater (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Prater made his return to practice after the Cardinals designated him for return from injured reserve Wednesday. After missing the Cardinals' last 10 games, Prater may need to upgrade to full participation in practice by the end of the week for Arizona to feel comfortable activating him from IR ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Panthers. If Prater ends up missing another game, Chad Ryland should continue serving as Arizona's kicker.

  • Nick Folk K | ATL

Titans' Nick Folk: Sits out practice with abdominal issue

Folk didn't practice Wednesday due to an abdominal injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Folk had been listed with a groin issue on Tennessee's Week 15 injury report, but he suited up in Sunday's 37-27 loss to the Bengals, converting on all three of his extra-point tries while not attempting a field goal. The Titans are now listing him with a different injury for Week 16, though it's possible the abdominal injury is linked to the groin issue. The Titans have another kicker on their practice squad (Brayden Narveson) that could be added to the active roster if Folk is unable to play this Sunday in Indianapolis.

  • Matt Gay K | SF

Colts' Matt Gay: Nursing neck injury

Gay didn't practice Wednesday due to a neck injury.

Gay converted both of his field-goal attempts and made his lone point-after try in the Colts' Week 15 loss to the Broncos, but he appears to have emerged from the game with the neck injury. Indianapolis doesn't have another kicker on its practice squad or active roster, so the team may need to add one if Gay is unable to practice again Thursday. Regardless, Gay's participation Thursday and Friday will provide the best indication of whether he can suit up Sunday, when the Colts face the Titans.

  • Commanders' Zane Gonzalez: Not practicing to begin Week 16

Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said Gonzalez (foot) won't practice Wednesday while he awaits the birth of his child, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

Washington won't have any kickers available at practice to kick off Week 16 prep, as practice-squad member Greg Joseph is also awaiting the birth of a child. Joseph filled in as the Commanders' kicker in the Week 15 win over the Saints while Gonzalez was sidelined with a left foot injury, but it's unclear where Gonzalez currently stands in his recovery heading into this Sunday's game against the Eagles.

  • Tanner Brown K | ATL

Tanner Brown: Gets cut from practice squad

Atlanta cut Brown from its practice squad Wednesday, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.

In corresponding moves, Atlanta placed Younghoe Koo (hip) on its injured reserve list and signed Riley Patterson to its active roster. Brown will now have to look for another opportunity elsewhere.

  • Younghoe Koo K | NYG

Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Goes on IR

Atlanta placed Koo on injured reserve Wednesday, after the kicker was believed to have aggravated a right hip injury in Monday's 15-9 win over the Raiders, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.

Koo hadn't been included on the Falcons' Week 15 injury report before playing in Las Vegas, though Atlanta had listed him on its report back in Week 13 due to the hip issue. He converted an extra-point attempt and field goals from 40 and 48 yards Monday before misfiring on his fourth and final kick of the night, a 42-yard try with 5:31 remaining in the fourth quarter. Koo may have aggravated the hip issue on that attempt, and with his move to injured reserve, he'll have to miss the final three games of the regular season plus the wild-card round of the playoffs, should Atlanta clinch a playoff berth. The Falcons signed Riley Patterson off the Browns' practice squad to replace Koo as their kicker beginning with Sunday's game against the Giants.
