He opened Week 5 prep with back-to-back limited practices before logging a full session Friday, but whether he can play Sunday may not be officially known until about 90 minutes before the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, when the Patriots announce their list of inactive players. His return would revert Joshua Farmer and DaQuan Jones to rotational roles at defensive end, with Milton Williams being the other starter at the position.

Barmore has logged consecutive limited practices to open the week after failing to practice at all last week before missing the team's Week 4 win over Buffalo. The defensive lineman has been dealing with a shoulder injury since Week 3, and he'll have one more chance to log a full practice Friday prior to Sunday's matchup with Las Vegas.

Barmore missed the entire week of practice heading into Week 4 after suffering a shoulder injury in the Patriots' 35-6 loss to the Jaguars. Without the sixth-year veteran in the lineup, Cory Durden and Milton Williams will have to step up in his place.

Barmore sustained a shoulder injury during the Patriots' 35-6 loss to the Jaguars in Week 3, finishing with only two tackles (one solo) while playing a season-low 28 defensive snaps. He'll have two more chances to return to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Bills. If Barmore is not cleared to play, then Joshua Farmer and Jeremiah Pharms would both be in line for larger roles against Buffalo.
