Dicker made his sole field-goal attempt but missed a PAT try in Thursday night's 41-17 preseason loss to the 49ers. Dicker drilled a 21-yard field goal in the second quarter but failed to make his extra-point attempt in the third quarter. The kicker is 126-for-130 on PAT's in his regular-season career, so Thursday night's failure is quite rare. Lightning has struck twice, however, as Dicker missed a PAT in the prior Thursday's preseason win over the Texans as well, making this a pattern to at least monitor in the Aug. 27 preseason finale against the Rams.

Dicker made both of his field-goal attempts and one of two PAT tries in Thursday's 27-7 preseason win over the Texans. Dicker connected on field-goal attempts of 34 and 48 yards, though he later missed a PAT attempt in the fourth quarter. He missed just once on 35 PAT tries in the 2025 regular season. Dicker has established himself as one of the league's most reliable kickers in recent seasons while kicking in sunny Los Angeles.

Dicker is entering his fifth NFL campaign, his fourth as the Chargers' undisputed starting kicker. Dicker is coming off of a 2025 campaign during which he converted 38 of 41 field-goal attempts, notching his first Pro Bowl appearance. Dicker now owns four of the five best single-season field-goal percentage campaigns in franchise history, per Omar Navarro of the Chargers' official website. The kicker will look to build off the historic start to his career in 2026, capping off the possessions of the highly-anticipated Los Angeles offense under new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel.

Dicker made his only field-goal try and went 4-for-4 on PATs in Sunday's 31-14 win over the Raiders. Dicker didn't have multiple field goals for the first time since Week 7, but he did make the most of his only attempt, converting a 56-yarder in the fourth quarter. The kicker has now gone 26-for-28 on field-goal tries, including 5-for-6 from 50-plus yards, while also making all 27 of his extra-point attempts over 12 games this year.

Dicker went into his bye in Week 12 having made multiple field goals in four games in a row. In Week 2 against the Raiders, Dicker was 2-of-2 on field goals and 2-of-2 on PATs. Five kickers have made multiple field goals against Las Vegas this season, and Dicker has top-five upside in the majority of leagues.
