The Texans elevated Ross to the active roster Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Ross was let go by the Texans on Tuesday before rejoining the team on its practice squad. He's played in two contests for Houston this season on special teams and figures to resume that role if he suits up for Sunday's contest against the Panthers.
