Skowronek has stood out during the first two weeks of training camp, Jonathan M. Alexander and Jon Poorman of the Houston Chronicle report.
The caveat here is that Skowronek is working with the second-team offense against Houston's second stringers on defense. What stands out is the receiver's size at 6-foot-3 and his ability to make contested catches. The Texans' top three wideouts are set with Nico Collins, Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell, but Skowronek is making a bid to be fourth on the depth chart over the likes of Noah Brown or Robert Woods.
