Neal (undisclosed) went to the locker room during the first half of Saturday's preseason game against the Rams, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.
Neal appeared to come up lame following a four-yard run in the first quarter. The nature of the injury has not been announced, but it might be related to the hamstring injury that prevented Neal from playing in the Saints' preseason opener against the Jaguars.
