The Cardinals did a good job Week 4 bottling up Buccaneers second-year running back Doug Martin, who averaged a season-low 1.7 yards per carry in a 13-10 loss. Martin was held to 45 rushing yards on 27 carries, with his longest gain going 12 yards.
Martin didn't get much running room in the passing game either, as he was held to three catches for 16 yards. Martin entered the game with 297 rushing yards and averaging 4.1 yards per carry. However, the Cardinals stacked the box in order to stop Martin and make rookie quarterback Mike Glennon, who was making his first career start, beat Arizona through the air.
Martin has gone three games without a touchdown as well. He will look to end his scoring slump in Week 6 vs. Philadelphia. The Bucs are on a bye Week 5.
