Patriots running back Brandon Bolden actually got the start on Sunday of Week 3 during the win over Tampa Bay. With Stevan Ridley not giving New England what it was looking for and Leon Washington injured, the Patriots went with Bolden to lead the way in the win.

Bolden rushed three times for 51 yards in the game. He had a career-long carry of 46 yards in the third quarter. He also caught five passes for 49 yards for the Patriots. Tom Brady looked his way six times in the passing game. LeGarrette Blount rushed 14 times for 65 yards and Ridley had 11 carries for 35.

The Patriots play at Atlanta Week 4 and Bolden may continue to see a lot of work within the offense.
