  • John Tonje SG | POR

    John Tonje: Hitting free agency

Tonje will become a free agent after the Celtics declined to tender him a qualifying offer, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

Tonje was selected by the Jazz with the No. 53 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, and he was traded to Boston in February. He spent the majority of the 2025-26 campaign playing in the G League, where he averaged 18.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 30.6 minutes over 43 games between the Salt Lake City Stars and Maine Celtics.

  • Jalen Wilson SF | ATL

    Jalen Wilson: Becomes free agent

Wilson will head to free agency after Brooklyn declined to tender him a qualifying offer, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports Monday.

Wilson, who averaged 6.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.0 made threes in 15.9 minutes over 54 regular-season appearances during the 2025-26 season, will now become an unrestricted free agent. He's primarily served in a bench role during the first three seasons of his NBA career, all with the Nets.

  • Ochai Agbaji SF | NY

    Ochai Agbaji: Reaches free agency

The Nets declined to tender a qualifying offer to Agbaji, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports Monday.

Agbaji will hit the open market after being traded from Toronto to Brooklyn in February. Across 20 regular-season appearances with the Nets, the 26-year-old forward averaged 6.7 points and 2.3 rebounds in 16.1 minutes per contest.

  • Warriors' Kristaps Porzingis: Re-signing with Golden State

Porzingis agreed to a two-year, $40 million contract extension with the Warriors on Monday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Porzingis is set to remain with the Warriors after being traded from the Hawks ahead of last season's trade deadline, and his new deal includes a player option for the second season. The veteran big man appeared in 15 regular-season contests for the Warriors, during which he averaged 16.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 blocks across 23.7 minutes per showing.

  • Spurs' Harrison Barnes: Will remain in San Antonio

Barnes will sign a one-year, $8 million contract to return to the Spurs for the 2026-27 season, Shams Charania of ESPN reports Monday.

Barnes started for San Antonio for the majority of the 2025-26 regular season before being moved to a bench role in early February. He saw his playing time decline in the playoffs and was a healthy scratch in each of San Antonio's last three games against New York in the NBA Finals. However, Barnes will return to the Spurs for the upcoming season and will provide the team with veteran depth in the frontcourt.

  • Jonathan Mogbo PF | SAC

    Jonathan Mogbo: Team option declined

The Raptors declined their team option on Mogbo's contract for the 2026-27 campaign, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports Monday.

After spending the first two years of his career in Toronto, Mogbo will enter unrestricted free agency. The 24-year-old forward saw a significant decline in playing time in his second season, averaging 1.5 points and 1.7 rebounds in 6.2 minutes per game across 40 regular-season outings in 2025-26.

  • Magic's Colin Castleton: Receives qualifying offer

The Magic extended a two-way qualifying offer to Castleton on Monday, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Castleton is now a two-way restricted free agent and can look for a better deal elsewhere. The 26-year-old big man missed significant time last season with a fractured right hand and appeared in just four regular-season games with the parent club. In 23 appearances with the G League's Osceola Magic in 2025-26, he averaged 18.7 points, 10.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.0 combined steals-plus-blocks in 27.5 minutes per game.

  • Gary Trent Jr. SF | MIL

    Gary Trent: Declining player option

Trent (oblique) will be an unrestricted free agent after declining his player option with the Bucks for the 2026-27 season Monday, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.

Trent finished the 2025-26 regular season having averaged 8.1 points, 1.2 assists, 1.0 rebounds and 1.9 threes in 21.2 minutes per game across 65 contests (21 starts). His year was highlighted by his 36-point outburst in a 127-113 loss to the Clippers on March 29. Trent has eight NBA seasons under his belt and is a career 38.7 percent three-point shooter, and he should garner interest from teams looking to add to their wing depth.

  • Kevin Huerter SF | DET

Pistons' Kevin Huerter: Plans to re-sign with Detroit

Huerter intends to sign a three-year, $27 million contract with the Pistons, Shams Charania of ESPN reports Monday.

Huerter was traded from Chicago to Detroit before last season's deadline. He appeared in 25 regular-season games (three starts) with the Pistons, during which he averaged 8.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 20.5 minutes per game. However, the Pistons added Isaiah Joe via trade this offseason, so Huerter will likely have to compete for minutes with Joe, Daniss Jenkins, Caris LeVert and Marcus Sasser.

  • Julian Phillips: Set to enter free agency

The Timberwolves are declining Phillips' $2.41 million team option for the 2026-27 season, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

Phillips spent the first two-and-a-half years of his NBA career with the Bulls before being traded to the Timberwolves in February. He served in a minor role off the bench for both teams and was limited to garbage-time minutes during Minnesota's playoff run. Once free agency officially begins, Phillips will have the opportunity to catch on with a team looking for depth on the wing.
