  • Jahmir Young PG | MIA

Heat's Jahmir Young: Plays well in SL win

Young finished with 21 points (8-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, four assists and three steals over 28 minutes in Friday's 88-87 California Classic Summer League victory over San Antonio.

Young tied rookie Ryan Conwell with a game-high 21 points. Although Young committed four turnovers, he made amends by amassing three steals while shooting an efficient 42.9 percent from deep. The 25-year-old appeared in 14 regular-season games for Miami in 2025-26, averaging 1.8 points, 0.3 rebounds, 0.6 assists and 0.1 steals across 4.1 minutes. The Heat declined Young's $2.41 million option, making him an unrestricted free agent. Still, he could earn another two-way contract or at least get a chance to try out for the team in training camp.

  • Ryan Conwell PG | MIA

Heat's Ryan Conwell: Scores 21 points in SL action

Conwell finished with 21 points (4-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and three assists across 29 minutes in Friday's 88-87 California Classic Summer League win over the Spurs.

Conwell shot an inefficient 4-for-12 from the floor Friday, though he still managed to tie Jahmir Young with a game-high 21 points to lead Miami to a one-point win. Conwell, the 2026 No. 37 overall pick, played for three schools before ending his college career in 2025-26 at Louisville, where he averaged a career-high 18.8 points along with 4.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 0.2 blocks and 1.1 steals over 30.9 minutes in 34 contests, which includes two games in the NCAA Tournament . Though Conwell will need to improve in areas of his game, he could find some minutes sporadically throughout the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Myron Gardner SF | MIA

Heat's Myron Gardner: Won't return Friday

Gardner (ankle) won't return to Friday's California Classic Summer League game against the Spurs, Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel reports. He will finish with two points (1-3 FG, 0-2 3P), four rebounds and two assists across seven minutes.

Gardner is one of only two players on the Summer League roster on a standard deal. The 25-year-old wasn't a routine contributor for Miami during the 2025-26 campaign, though he averaged 8.3 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.1 blocks, 1.4 steals and 50.0 percent shooting from deep across 21.0 minutes in seven regular-season starts. Gardner should be considered questionable ahead of Sunday's Summer League meeting with the Lakers.

  • Josh Okogie SG | UTA

Jazz's Josh Okogie: Agrees to two-year deal with Jazz

Okogie agreed to a two-year, $12 million deal with the Jazz on Friday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Okogie played in a career-high 78 regular-season games for the Rockets during the 2025-26 campaign, averaging 4.5 points and 2.6 rebounds in 17.4 minutes per game. He'll provide depth on the wing for Utah and should serve as a veteran presence in a young locker room.

  • Knicks' Andre Drummond: Signing with Knicks

Drummond agreed to a one-year, $3.9 million contract with the Knicks on Friday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Drummond will now head to New York to suit up for his seventh team since entering the league as the No. 9 overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. The 32-year-old isn't as productive as he once was, though he's still one of the NBA's top rebounders. He also filled in admirably in his 25 regular-season starts for the Sixers during the 2025-26 campaign, averaging 8.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.8 blocks and 0.7 steals over 24.8 minutes. While Drummond likely won't start as often this season with the Knicks, he is still a reliable reserve option and is capable of filling the void left by the departure of Mitchell Robinson, who recently agreed to a deal with the Celtics.

  • Jordan Miller SG | LAC

Clippers' Jordan Miller: Staying in Los Angeles

Miller will sign a three-year, $15.3 million deal to stay with the Clippers, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Miller was a restricted free agent, but the Clippers didn't let him explore his options elsewhere for long. Over 60 regular-season appearances in 2025-26, Miller averaged a career-high 10.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.8 steals in 22.1 minutes per game. With the Clippers moving on from Kawhi Leonard, Miller is a candidate for an increased role moving forward.

  • Jaden Hardy PG | LAL

Lakers' Jaden Hardy: Traded to Lakers

The Wizards traded Hardy and two second-round picks to the Lakers in exchange for Deandre Ayton on Friday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Hardy will get yet another fresh start, this time in Los Angeles. In 57 regular-season games, split between the Mavericks and Wizards in 2025-26, Hardy averaged 9.2 points and 1.0 assists in 15.8 minutes per contest.

  • Wizards' Deandre Ayton: Traded to Washington

The Lakers are trading Ayton to the Wizards in exchange for Jaden Hardy and two second-round picks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Ayton's departure was imminent following the addition of Walker Kessler. In Washington, Ayton figures to be the primary backup to Alex Sarr, filling the void left by the departure of Marvin Bagley. Ayton doesn't seem like an appealing fantasy option on his new team, as he needs a lot of volume and minutes to be worthwhile in standard formats.

  • Caleb Love PG | PHI

76ers' Caleb Love: To join 76ers

Love agreed to a two-way contract with the 76ers on Friday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Love was on a two-way contract with Portland in 2025-26. He made 49 regular-season appearances, posting averages of 10.4 points, 2.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 20.7 minutes per contest. He'll likely spend a lot of time with Philadelphia's G League affiliate during the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Hornets' Dorian Finney-Smith: Traded to Charlotte

The Rockets are trading Finney-Smith to the Hornets along with three second-round picks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

This is a pure salary dump by the Rockets. Finney-Smith is coming off a down season, but he has a strong track record of being a plus defender and floor spacer. Presumably, the Hornets will be eyeing him as a potential rotation player off the bench.
