Anthony Black SG | ORL
Magic's Anthony Black: Season-high 23 points in defeat
Black closed Sunday's 108-97 loss to Boston with 23 points (6-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 10-11 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and two steals over 33 minutes.
Black tied Tristan da Silva for the team lead in scoring, while the former accounted for more than half of Orlando's 19 free-throw attempts in the loss. It was good to see Black attacking the rim with his three-point shot not falling, and his eight boards also represented a season high. He'll continue to be a focal point for the Magic on both sides of the ball for as long as Paolo Banchero (ankle) and Jalen Suggs (knee) remain out.

Jayson Tatum PF | BOS
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Scores game-high 32 points in win
Tatum racked up 32 points (8-19 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 15-17 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and two blocks over 34 minutes during Sunday's 108-97 victory over the Magic.
Tatum went back to the locker room after bumping heads with Jamal Cain in the first quarter, but the Celtics' superstar was able to return and recorded his third 30-plus point outing of the season. Tatum made another massive impact from the charity stripe, attempting 17 or more free throws for the second time in 2026-27, and has now dished out at least six assists in every contest. His struggles from beyond the arc continued, however, but he'll continue providing contributions across the board as the unquestioned leader in Boston.

Spencer Jones SF | DEN
Nuggets' Spencer Jones: Still out Monday
Jones (hamstring) is listed as out for Monday's game against the Trail Blazers.
Jones has yet to play during the 2026-27 campaign due to bilateral hamstring issues. He should be considered day-to-day, meaning his next opportunity to get on the floor will come Wednesday versus Toronto.
-
Alpha Diallo SF | DEN
Nuggets' Alpha Diallo: Questionable to play Monday
Diallo (wrist) is listed as questionable for Monday's game versus Portland.
Diallo made his only appearance of the 2026-27 campaign in the 96-84 Opening Night loss to Oklahoma City. Since then, he has missed the Nuggets' last four games. While the personal issue that contributed to his absence has seemingly been resolved, a right wrist sprain may keep him off the floor for the fifth time this season.
-
Dylan Cardwell C | SAC
Kings' Dylan Cardwell: Questionable versus Dallas
Cardwell (calf) is questionable to suit up for Monday's game against the Mavericks.
Cardwell has yet to appear in a game this season while recovering from a left calf strain, and he's in danger of missing his seventh consecutive outing to begin the 2026-27 campaign. If Cardwell remains sidelined, Precious Achiuwa and Jonathan Mogbo are likely to continue earning additional minutes.
-
Zach LaVine SG | SAC
Kings' Zach LaVine: Dealing with elbow soreness
LaVine (elbow) is questionable to play in Monday's game against Dallas.
LaVine played a season-low 21 minutes during Saturday's 136-105 loss to Memphis, but it's unclear if that was due to the elbow soreness or the game being out of reach for the Kings. Either way, his status will bear monitoring ahead of Monday's clash with the Mavericks. If he's unable to play, Darius Acuff Jr.'s usage would skyrocket, while Malik Monk, Emanuel Sharp and Nique Clifford could all see increased opportunities in the backcourt.
-
Tarik Biberovic SF | DAL
Mavericks' Tarik Biberovic: Won't suit up against Sacramento
Biberovic (heel) is listed as out for Monday's game against Sacramento.
Biberovic has been battling inflammation in his right heel, preventing him from making his NBA debut. While the rookie should be considered week-to-week, he likely has a way to go before earning a meaningful role in Dallas even when he's cleared to suit up.
-
Scotty Pippen Jr. PG | MEM
Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Expected to miss another game Monday
Pippen (back) is listed as doubtful for Monday's game against the Pelicans.
Pippen didn't suit up for Saturday's 136-105 win over the Kings. With Pippen in line to miss another game Monday, Cam Spencer will likely be on the floor more than usual behind Ty Jerome (back), who is not listed on the injury report for the meeting with New Orleans.
-
Quinten Post C | MEM
Grizzlies' Quinten Post: Questionable for Monday
Post (ankle) is questionable to suit up for Monday's game against New Orleans.
Post missed Saturday's 136-105 victory over Sacramento with a sprained right ankle, and he's now in jeopardy of missing a second straight contest with the injury. If he's unable to play, Isaiah Stewart and Taylor Hendricks will split the backup center minutes.
-
Ty Jerome PG | MEM
Grizzlies' Ty Jerome: Available to play Monday
Jerome (back) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Monday's game against New Orleans.
Jerome didn't play in the 136-105 victory over the Kings on Saturday, though he will return from his one-game layoff for Monday's meeting with the Pelicans. With Jerome cleared to play, Cam Spencer will presumably head back to the bench. However, since Scotty Pippen (back) is doubtful, Spencer should see more minutes than usual.
