  • Adem Bona C | PHI

76ers' Adem Bona: Suffers sprained foot

Bona (foot) will be re-evaluated at the start of training camp, Derek Bodner of AllPHLY.com reports.

Bona suffered a foot sprain this offseason, clouding his ability to participate in camp later this month. It's unclear if his status for Opening Night is in serious doubt, as he does have about a month until the regular season begins. Until Bona is cleared to retake the floor, Dominick Barlow and Ariel Hukporti should handle the backup center reps.

  • Kawhi Leonard SF | TOR

Raptors' Kawhi Leonard: Nearing contract extension

Leonard and the Raptors have held advanced discussions and are nearing an agreement on a contract extension, Jake Fischer of The Stein Line reports.

Leonard is eligible to sign for up to two years and $126 million. An extension would solidify Leonard's long-term future in Toronto and remove any uncertainty surrounding his contract situation heading into the 2026-27 campaign. After his trade was recently completed, his fantasy outlook is much more straightforward heading into training camp.

  • Bruce Brown SG | NY

Knicks' Bruce Brown: Signs with New York

Brown signed an Exhibit 9 contract with the Knicks on Wednesday.

This is essentially a training camp invite with injury protections, so Brown will not be guaranteed a roster spot. Across 539 career regular-season games, the veteran guard holds averages of 8.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists per showing.

McMillian agreed to a training-camp contract with the Warriors on Tuesday, Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot reports.

  • John Konchar SG | MIN

Knicks' John Konchar: Inks pact with New York

Konchar agreed to a one-year deal with the Knicks on Tuesday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Konchar is set to provide wing depth for the Knicks in 2026-27 after being traded to the Timberwolves and subsequently getting waived in late August. The veteran forward appeared in 56 regular-season outings (eight starts) between Memphis and Utah last season, during which he averaged 4.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.7 blocks in 19.9 minutes per tilt.

  • Anthony Gill PF | WAS

Wizards' Anthony Gill: Re-signs with Washington

Gill agreed to a one-year deal with the Wizards on Tuesday, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.com reports.

Gill is set to play for the Wizards for a seventh straight season. The 33-year-old will offer the club frontcourt depth and a veteran presence in the locker room, but he isn't guaranteed a steady role. Over 55 regular-season appearances (eight starts) last season, he averaged 5.8 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists while shooting a career-best 62.8 percent from the field in 17.3 minutes per game.

  • Gradey Dick SG | LAC

Clippers' Gradey Dick: Trade to be finalized

The Clippers and Raptors mutually agreed Monday to complete the trade sending Leonard to Toronto in exchange for Brandon Ingram (heel), Gradey Dick, two unprotected first-round picks, one first-round pick swap and two second-rounders, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

The trade hit a snag in July when the league investigated Leonard and the Clippers for salary cap circumvention, but the deal is now official ahead of training camp. The 2023 first-rounder is searching for a fresh start in Los Angeles after averaging 6.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 14.0 minutes per game across 76 regular-season appearances (one start) for the Raptors last year.
