  • Zuby Ejiofor C | ATL

Hawks' Zuby Ejiofor: Records five stocks in SL win

Ejiofor registered 13 points (3-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT), six rebounds, three blocks, two assists and two steals across 27 minutes in Saturday's 83-76 Summer League win over Brooklyn.

Ejiofor was a pest defensively, compiling five stocks while anchoring Atlanta in the paint. The big man also made an impact offensively, scoring in double figures and knocking down a pair of triples. Ejiofor has shown flashes of promise so far in the Summer League, though carving out a consistent frontcourt role during the regular season could prove difficult with Jock Landale (ankle), Mouhamed Gueye and fellow rookie Henri Veesaar all vying for minutes behind starting center Onyeka Okongwu.

  • Timberwolves' Trey Kaufman-Renn: Won't return Saturday

Kaufman-Renn (mouth) has been ruled out for the remainder of Saturday's Summer League game against Denver. He'll close with no points (0-1 FG) in one minute.

Kaufman-Renn exited due to a mouth contusion after a brief appearance. The 2026 second-round pick's next opportunity to suit up will come Monday against Portland.

  • Timberwolves' Joan Beringer: Won't play Saturday

Beringer has been ruled out for Saturday's Summer League game against the Nuggets due to back tightness.

Beringer will miss Minnesota's second Las Vegas Summer League outing with the back issue. His next opportunity to play will come Monday against Portland.

  • Pelicans' Hunter Dickinson: Scores 21 points in SL win

Dickinson finished Saturday's 95-91 Summer League win over the Hornets with 21 points (9-18 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 0-1 FT), three rebounds and three assists across 26 minutes.

Dickinson was aggressive hunting his shot Saturday and finished with a game-high 21 points. The big man also led all players in triples made and was third on the Pelicans in assists. The 25-year-old signed another two-way pact with New Orleans and figures to spend most of his time with the club's G League affiliate, the Birmingham Squadron, in 2026-27.

  • Suns' Khaman Maluach: Records double-double Friday

Maluach finished with 19 points (7-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 11 rebounds, two steals and one block across 26 minutes in Friday's 81-79 Summer League win over Portland.

Maluach had a 19-point, 11-rebound double-double to begin his time in Las Vegas. He was efficient from deep, though he had trouble taking care of the ball and committed a game-high seven turnovers. The 2025 No. 10 overall pick appeared in 46 regular-season games for Phoenix during the 2025-26 campaign, finishing with averages of 3.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, 0.1 assists, 0.7 blocks and 0.1 steals over 8.9 minutes. Maluach is currently listed behind Mark Williams and Oso Ighodaro on the depth chart, but he will likely need to clean up some things before earning consistent minutes for the Suns in 2026-27.

  • Yang Hansen C | POR

Trail Blazers' Yang Hansen: Near double-double in Summer League

Hansen finished Friday's 81-79 Summer League loss to the Suns with 12 points (5-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), nine rebounds and four assists over 26 minutes.

The second-year center led the Trail Blazers in rebounds, finishing one board shy of a double-double, while ending as the team's third-leading scorer behind DJ Steward (21 points) and Frankie Fidler (13 points). Hansen averaged just 7.0 minutes per game across 43 regular-season contests during the 2025-26 campaign, and he'll battle against Robert Williams for the backup center role behind Donovan Clingan for the upcoming season.

  • Celtics' Amari Williams: Leads Celtics to win Friday

Williams ended with 23 points (7-9 FG, 5-8 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 29 minutes in Friday's 83-80 Summer League overtime win over Toronto.

Williams appeared in 22 regular-season games for the Celtics during the 2025-26 campaign, averaging 1.4 points, 1.8 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.5 blocks and 0.1 steals across 6.6 minutes. The 24-year-old got off to an excellent start to Summer League, scoring a game-high 23 points while simultaneously recording a double-double. With that in mind, even if Williams continues to play well throughout his time in Las Vegas, it still may not improve his chances of earning a stable role in the Celtics' rotation in 2026-27.

  • Aday Mara C | OKC

    Thunder's Aday Mara: Starting Friday

Mara (undisclosed) is starting Friday's Summer League game against the Lakers, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

Mara didn't play in Tuesday's Salt Lake City Summer League loss to the Jazz, though it's worth mentioning that the game was the second leg of a back-to-back set. He'll now look to impress in the Thunder's Las Vegas Summer League opener.

  • Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Agrees to max extension

Wembanyama signed a five-year, $252 million extension with the Spurs on Friday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Wembanyama is officially set to remain with the Spurs for the foreseeable future after signing a maximum rookie-scale extension with a player option in the final year. He was eligible for the supermax but opted for the max, giving San Antonio added financial flexibility. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year is fresh off a dominant 2025-26 campaign in which he averaged 25.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 3.1 blocks and 1.0 steals across 64 regular-season games (55 starts). Wembanyama was incredible in the postseason and will now look to lead the Spurs back to the NBA Finals.

  • Hornets' Ryan Kalkbrenner: Plays well in Summer League

Kalkbrenner finished with 10 points (5-7 FG, 0-0 3Pt, 0-2 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and three blocks in 30 minutes during Thursday's 86-74 Summer League win over the Magic.

The second-year center was dominant defensively and controlled the paint throughout the contest, finishing one rebound shy of a double-double while showcasing the passing ability that Charlotte hopes will complement his elite rim protection. The problem with Kalkbrenner's fantasy appeal is that he has to compete with Hannes Steinbach and Moussa Diabate for minutes.
