  • Ivica Zubac C | IND

Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Dealing with ankle injury

Zubac is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Wizards due to a left ankle sprain, NBA writer Justin Russo reports.

Per Russo, Zubac did not play during the final 14 minutes of the Clippers' win over the Hornets on Monday and was seen favoring his left ankle in the locker room following the game. Brook Lopez, John Collins and Yanic Konan Niederhauser would be in line for more minutes if Zubac is unable to play Wednesday.

  • Naz Reid PF | CHA

    Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Starting Tuesday

Reid is part of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Milwaukee.

Reid will make his first start of the campaign, filing in for the suspended Rudy Gobert. In games during which Reid has played 30 or more minutes this season, he's averaging 16.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.6 steals across 10 games.

  • Anthony Davis PF | WAS

Mavericks' Anthony Davis: Won't have surgery, out six weeks

A second opinion revealed Davis (finger) won't require surgery, and he'll be re-evaluated in six weeks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Early indications were that Davis would go under the knife and miss multiple months. However, a second opinion was enough to convince Davis to rehab without a procedure. Still, he'll be sidelined for at least six weeks. meaning he likely won't be back until at least early March. Daniel Gafford, Dwight Powell and Moussa Cisse will handle center duties while Davis is sidelined.

  • Myles Turner C | MIL

Bucks' Myles Turner: Downgraded to out

Turner (illness) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against Minnesota.

Turner has been dealing with an illness recently, and the issue will prevent him from suiting up Tuesday. His absence likely means Bobby Portis and Jericho Sims will see more playing time, while Giannis Antetokounmpo could see more action at the center spot. Turner's next chance to play will come Thursday against San Antonio.

  • Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Not on injury report

Gafford (ankle) is available for Wednesday's game against Denver.

Gafford will return from a one-game absence due to a sprained right ankle. The 27-year-old will likely take his spot in the starting lineup back from Dwight Powell. In 19 starts this season, Gafford is averaging 9.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks across 23.1 minutes.

  • Jakob Poeltl C | TOR

Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Listed as out for Wednesday

Poeltl is out for Wednesday's game against Indiana due to a lower-back strain.

Poeltl has been cleared for contact for over one week now, but the Raptors aren't yet ready to give him the green light for game action. Rookie first-rounder Collin Murray-Boyles has started six contests in a row amid Poeltl's absence, and the former should remain a very appealing streaming choice for Wednesday.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Probable for Wednesday

Embiid (knee/adductor) is probable to play Wednesday versus the Cavs, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Embiid returned from a one-game absence in Monday's win over the Raptors and finished with 27 points (9-17 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 8-8 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and two steals across 36 minutes. Managers can expect to get official confirmation on Embiid's status closer to the game's 7 p.m. ET tipoff.

  • Jaxson Hayes C | UTA

Lakers' Jaxson Hayes: Won't play Tuesday

Hayes will not play Tuesday against the Hawks due to left hamstring soreness.

Hayes does not have a strain, and it's possible the Lakers are exercising caution for the second leg of this back-to-back set. With Hayes out, Deandre Ayton could have a higher floor, and Jarred Vanderbilt could see more run for the Lakers.

  • Ivica Zubac C | IND

Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Hauls in team-high 11 boards

Zubac recorded nine points (4-6 FG, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds and two assists across 27 minutes during Monday's 117-109 victory over Charlotte.

Zubac fell one board short of a double-double Monday. The 28-year-old center's minutes have stabilized after he recently returned from a sprained ankle, as Zubac has logged at least 25 minutes in five consecutive outings. For the month, Zubac has averaged 11.2 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.0 blocks per contest in six appearances.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Quiet outing in loss

Allen ended with eight points (3-7 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal in 32 minutes during Monday's 123-112 loss to Utah.

While the workload was encouraging, this was a mild effort from Allen, and that's been the case a lot this season. Across 29 appearances this season, Allen's numbers have been down with averages of 13.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.7 blocks in 26.5 minutes per contest.
