Kessler registered 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-4 FT), eight rebounds, two blocks and one steal over 33 minutes during Tuesday's 136-129 loss to the Trail Blazers. Kessler was solid in the loss, scoring on six of nine shots over 33 minutes. The center's free-throw shooting was an issue again, but his rim protection remains key to the Lakers' starting lineup. He'll face a tough frontcourt test Wednesday against the Clippers.

Kessler racked up 22 points (10-14 FG, 2-5 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, six blocks and three steals across 35 minutes during Friday's 125-117 victory over the Clippers. Kessler followed up his perfect debut with another dominant showing, adding six blocks and three steals to his 22 points. The Lakers gave up a bundle of draft picks to land the 7-foot-2 center from Utah, and he'll get a shot at his former team Sunday.

Kessler delivered 26 points (12-12 FG, 0-0 3Pt, 2-4 FT), nine rebounds, an assist and two blocks across 30 minutes in Wednesday's 127-105 win over the Warriors. There was a lot of talk about how Luka Doncic and Kessler would thrive playing together, and while one game isn't enough to draw conclusions, this was an impressive performance from the big man. He made all 12 of his field-goal attempts, posting an unusually productive scoring performance for a player whose fantasy value typically centers on rebounds, blocks and efficiency. His 30-minute workload was particularly encouraging, suggesting a prominent role in Los Angeles' frontcourt. Although his scoring output is unlikely to remain this high consistently, his combination of rebounding, rim protection and efficient finishing gives him a solid fantasy foundation, especially if he develops a rapport with the playmaking of both Doncic and Austin Reaves.

Kessler (finger) is available for Wednesday's game against the Warriors. Kessler suffered a finger injury during training camp but was cleared to suit up in the preseason. The 25-year-old averaged a career-high 14.4 points along with 10.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.4 steals over 30.8 minutes per contest in 2025-26. However, he was limited to five regular-season games due to a shoulder injury.

Kessler logged 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 16 minutes during Tuesday's 101-89 preseason loss to the Warriors. Kessler made an immediate impact in his Lakers debut after missing the first three exhibitions with a finger injury. Golden State grabbed just two offensive rebounds before halftime and 13 after it with Kessler on the bench, which shows exactly why the Lakers paid $130 million for him.
