Champagnie had 26 points (9-14 FG, 8-13 3Pt), three rebounds and three assists across 25 minutes during Tuesday's 130-103 victory over the Kings. Champagnie was red hot during the first half of Tuesday's win, connecting on eight triples en route to a season-high 26 points. While this was a fantastic night for anyone rostering, it could certainly have been a lot better had the game been even remotely close. He remains an elite source of three-pointers, although he doesn't offer a lot outside of that category. Given that he had made seven three-pointers in his previous three games, managers shouldn't expect a performance like this very often.

Champagnie finished with six points (2-5 FG, 2-5 3Pt) and three steals in 25 minutes during Friday's 114-110 loss to Houston. Champagnie finished with a pair of three-pointers, although that's really where the good news ends. While it does appear as though he is going to play a meaningful role for the Spurs, his ceiling is relatively limited. Coming off his best season in the NBA, the opportunities that he had last year simply aren't going to be available to him, assuming the roster remains largely healthy. Fantasy managers should view him as a viable three-point streaming option.

Champagnie notched eight points (3-8 FG, 2-6 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist, three blocks and two steals over 30 minutes during Tuesday's 116-104 loss to the Thunder. Although it was Devin Vassell who drew the Opening Night start, Champagnie also appears to be a direct fantasy beneficiary of Tobias Harris' (calf) absence. Champagnie should be worth streaming in most leagues until Harris is cleared to make his season debut.

Champagnie (rest) will suit up for Friday's preseason finale against the Kings, Matt Guzman of SI.com reports. After taking a day off Wednesday against the Suns, Champagnie is one of several Spurs set to return. This has the look of a potential dress rehearsal for the team.
